people please STOP with the "short" talk... there aren't were absolutely ZERO shares to short at the IPO. Of course, now there may be because of the (mainly downward) volume. My question is where did all those shares come from that sold at IPO that allowed this thing to get depressed from $13 to $8 right off the bat?? I would think founders/early employees would've been held to a lockout agreement for a time. If Covid Variant is indeed cause for concern then we may see more lockdowns across the globe. If this is the case PYPL should do very well this Q4. This time around people are more ready to quickly transition back to the "Work from home" lifestyle than the first time in 2020 so I expect to see less of a lag on this transition and the online spending habits. The overall tone of the market may bring this down but I believe PYPL is a great safe haven right now on a 40% discount from ATHs and one of the few who really benefit from covid lockdowns.
