Amazon.com increased by 2.40%. Alphabet and Alphabet surged by 3.54% and 3.60%, respectively, following Google's breakthrough in quantum computing technology. Broadcom soared by 11.21% after reporting strong Q4 results and a positive outlook for AI-related sales. Netflix saw a modest increase of 0.24% amid mixed analyst opinions. Advanced Micro Devices slightly declined by 0.17% after merger rumors with Intel were denied. Qualcomm fell by 0.40% due to ongoing legal battles with Arm Holdings. Palantir Technologies Inc. dropped by 0.42% as the AI frenzy cooled off.
