$Alibaba(BABA)$ Can we turn away from the fud for one minute and look at the facts? Good.- The S & P 500 trades at 22x its forward earnings, earnings are expected to grow only 8% in 2022.- BABA trades at only 12 times its forward earnings, yet its earnings are expected to grow 15% in 2022.- Give BABA a 22x multiple like the S & P 500, the stock would be $215 today.($215 also happens to be the price target of Goldman Sachs).- Yes, there are risks, as with any stock, that IMHO will continue to diminish over time. VIE and delisting are going to fade into the background as the stock gains momentum in the new year.China has recently announced they approve of VIE, and they are working to resolve the audit issue with the SEC. Looks like a non-issue
