$PayPal(PYPL)$ $Square, Inc(SQ)$ $Shopify Inc(SHOP)$ 收益率建模啥意思？为啥要对收益率建模？因为要建立合理的预期。举个例子，咱们在投资前，如果对这支票历史的收益率与风险不清楚的话，无异于盲人摸象。比如，某个股票，历史上的平均月回报是5%，期望买入之后一个月突然翻十倍是不现实的。投资中的期望收益率是基于一项投资机会的平均历史净收益率数据为基础，用来设定合理的投资目标，也就是未来合理的回报值。但仅仅知道预期的回报率就去做投资决定是天真且危险的。这件事分2方面来看：1、历史的收益率（回报）与方差（波动）2、它们的统计分布在做出投资决定之前，投资者还要去审查投资机会的风险特征来进一步了解你的投资目标。除了预期回报，还要考虑这种回报的概率/发生的可能性。现在讲讲干货和一个很牛的工具：第一步，度量回报的收益率与风险特征首先，我们要做的是将Paypal，Square，Shopify历史5年以上每个月的月收益率取出来。再来观察收益率的集中趋势和离散度。简单来讲，集中趋势说明了数据集中于何处，简单理解就是——均值，众数等，表达了收益的信号；离散度反映了收益率在均值附近的分散情况，简单理解就是——标准差、方差等，表达了风险的信号。均值代表预期回报，标准差代表风险。Paypal的预期回报（月平均收益）=2.07%，标准差（风险）=7.99%，根据过去6.5年/78个月的历史数据统计所得。S
