Need I say more....the key is always growth. The key person is Elon Musk. Think most pundits do not realize the true potential of Tesla. While Biden are hatching some Trillion dollars package in Bess with Bezos, bill gates and Richard Branson; aiming to protect the American's interest and technical edge as well as cyber security, Tesla is already doing it. Disrupting every industry that they go into, Elon Musk is already disrupting the energy sector with megaPacks. Their agreement with Arevon will kick off in a greater scale for California and Nevada. Elon also says that the energy sector will be as big as their EV biz. So just using simple maths , and doubling its current price of$810, $810X 2=$1

We are adding debt like we've never seen,\" the former Prudent Bear Fund manager told \"Trading Nation\" on Friday. \"We have the Treasury market acting very strange withratesfalling dramatically.\"\nTice, who's known for making bearish bets during bull markets, now advises theAdvisorShares Ranger Equity Bear ETF, which has $70 million in assets under management. The fund is up 3% over the past month, but it's off 62% over the last two years.\nHe acknowledges it's tough to time the next major pullback, and he's often early. For instance, a $155 investment in Bitcoin at $1 would have been worth over $1 million when it hit $64,800 a token in mid-April.</p><p>But over the past two weeks, cryptocurrencies have fallen off a cliff. Some would call this a natural pullback after a monstrous run higher. I have a different name for it: a popping bubble.</p><p>While there is no shortage of enthusiasts who believe digital currencies are the greatest thing since sliced bread, I believe the crypto market is imploding for 10 very good reasons.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/08bd510be5ae746f0867c5de1184417a\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"464\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><p>1. There's very minimal real-world utility</p><p>One of the biggest drawbacks of digital currency is that it's virtually useless outside a cryptocurrency exchange. Although we've seen a small number of high-profile companies or organizations accept Bitcoin or Dogecoin, the reality is that the total number of businesses accepting either is microscopic. Approximately 1,300 businesses globally have chosen to accept Dogecoin after eight years, while Fundera found that 15,174 businesses accept Bitcoin, as of December 2020. For some context here, there are an estimated 582 million entrepreneurs worldwide.</p><p>2. Valuations, relative to transaction data, made no sense</p><p>Even though valuation is somewhat subjective, <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> glance at transaction data for the three most popular cryptocurrencies, relative to payment processing juggernauts such as <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/V\">Visa</a></b> (NYSE:V) and <b>Mastercard</b> (NYSE:MA), would leave anyone's jaw on the floor.</p><p>The latest Nilson report found that 1.01 billion credit transactions were processed daily in 2018, 700 million of which were handled by Visa and Mastercard. By comparison, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin are processing in the neighborhood of 300,000, 1.4 million, and 50,000 respective transactions on their blockchains each day. All the major cryptos combined can't hold a candle to the processing potential of Visa or Mastercard, yet the Big Three of crypto have a higher combined market value than Visa and Mastercard. That makes no sense.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/ce89a01a16c15dafb27017a6a42cedc3\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"496\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><p>3. Businesses have been slow to adopt blockchain</p><p>On paper, blockchain sounds great. On the financial side of the equation, it's a way to expedite the validation and settlement of payments. Rather than waiting up to a week for cross-border payments to settle, they could be resolved in mere seconds or minutes. Blockchain also has nonfinancial applications. Ethereum's smart contract-driven blockchain might be the key to one day unlocking supply chain bottlenecks.</p><p>However, what sounds great on paper doesn't always translate into real-world success. Blockchain continues to suffer from a Catch-22. Businesses won't adopt it till the technology is proven on a broad scale, but no businesses will abandon their existing (and proven) infrastructure to effectively be the guinea pig. Until blockchain matures, big business will keep its distance.</p><p>4. There's virtually no barrier to entry</p><p>Aside from minimal utility, my biggest personal gripe with crypto is there's no barrier to entry. Anyone with the time to code can develop a blockchain and, potentially, a tethered token. According to CoinMarketCap, there are almost 10,000 different cryptocurrencies in its system. While many aren't trading much, if at all, that's an insane number of potential competitors to Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum, with the likelihood of many more to come.</p><p>In short, the crypto space is constantly being diluted by an unlimited amount of competition.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/614d7f34734e33d740f7f9c02ed3f8fd\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"466\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><p>5. Centralization remains a problem</p><p>One of the many goals of cryptocurrencies is decentralization. This is to ensure that no one person or small group of people controls a network. Yet according to data from BitInfoCharts.com, ownership in Bitcoin and Dogecoin is fairly centralized. Just 2,155 addresses own almost 42% of all Bitcoin, while 66.6% of all outstanding Dogecoin is owned by only 99 addresses. It's possible folks are waking up to the fact that these financial experiments aren't as decentralized as they were intended to be.</p><p>6. Elon Musk is tugging at heartstrings</p><p>Another reason the crypto bubble is bursting is that it's been artificially driven by tweets from <b>Tesla</b>&nbsp;CEO Elon Musk.</p><p>At first, Musk was all aboard the Bitcoin train. He purchased $1.5 billion Bitcoin for Tesla's balance sheet in February and announced that the company would begin accepting Bitcoin for electric vehicle purchases a month later. Then, after 49 days, he tweeted that Tesla would no longer accept Bitcoin because of the adverse environmental impacts of mining it. He's since turned his attention to Dogecoin.</p><p>The fact that tweets with little or no substance are creating and erasing hundreds of billions of dollars in crypto market value would seem to indicate that a bubble has been brewing for some time.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/4c7f03bc8a60bee0f293f0582f185505\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"474\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><p>7. Not all governments are OK with crypto</p><p>The crypto bubble is also popping because some governments aren't OK with allowing cryptocurrencies to undermine their own central bank-backed currencies. Last week, China sent the crypto market into a tailspin after prohibiting banks and online payment channels in the country from offering any services related to the cryptocurrency industry. It should be noted that a lot of Bitcoin mining occurs in China.</p><p>And China's far from alone. Turkey recently enacted a ban on crypto payments. Meanwhile, countries including Bolivia, Ecuador, Nigeria, and Algeria have effectively banned digital currencies. This trend makes the global use case for crypto unlikely.</p><p>8. There are no identifiable real-world correlations</p><p>Yet another issue with crypto is there are no readily identifiable real-world correlations.</p><p>For example, we know that gold and the U.S. dollar have an inverse relationship to one another. When the dollar is declining in value, gold is very likely rising in value. This is a correlation that's been established over a long period of time.</p><p>Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin don't have these correlations. Enthusiasts like to point out how crypto is a hedge against inflation, but they forget that Bitcoin has both risen and fallen when the money supply expanded rapidly or slowly. Crypto is driven by emotion and technical analysis, primarily because it has no real-world correlations.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b04ade705354c4825038c4dfcd0187d9\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"500\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><p>9. Leverage is haunting the crypto market</p><p>The cryptocurrency implosion can also be blamed on investors who are over-levered. Some of the most popular crypto exchanges will allow customers to use 50 to 125 times leverage on their actual account equity. While this isn't an uncommon amount of leverage in forex, where currencies move in fractions of a cent, it's absolutely ludicrous for crypto, which can move 3% in the blink of an eye.</p><p>According to data from Bybt.com, via Bloomberg, over 887,000 accounts totaling $9.4 billion in aggregate crypto assets were liquidated as a result of leverage-based margin calls on May 19. Because of this insane leverage, it doesn't take much for things to go south quickly for the crypto market.</p><p>10. Investors always overhype new tech</p><p>Finally, investors frequently overestimate the adoption of new technology. Though there is no shortage of people hyped up about blockchain, it's been more than a half-decade and the blockchain buzz hasn't materialized into meaningful enterprise usage. There's very minimal real-world utilityOne of the biggest drawbacks of digital currency is that it's virtually useless outside a cryptocurrency exchange. Although we've seen a small number of high-profile companies or organizations accept Bitcoin or Dogecoin, the reality is that the total number of businesses accepting either is microscopic. Approximately 1,300 businesses globally have chosen to accept Dogecoin after eight years, while Fundera found that 15,174 businesses accept Bitcoin, as of December 2020. For some context here, there are an estimated 582 million entrepreneurs worldwide.2. Valuations, relative to transaction data, made no senseEven though valuation is somewhat subjective, one glance at transaction data for the three most popular cryptocurrencies, relative to payment processing juggernauts such as Visa (NYSE:V) and Mastercard (NYSE:MA), would leave anyone's jaw on the floor.The latest Nilson report found that 1.01 billion credit transactions were processed daily in 2018, 700 million of which were handled by Visa and Mastercard. By comparison, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin are processing in the neighborhood of 300,000, 1.4 million, and 50,000 respective transactions on their blockchains each day. All the major cryptos combined can't hold a candle to the processing potential of Visa or Mastercard, yet the Big Three of crypto have a higher combined market value than Visa and Mastercard. On the financial side of the equation, it's a way to expedite the validation and settlement of payments. Rather than waiting up to a week for cross-border payments to settle, they could be resolved in mere seconds or minutes. Blockchain also has nonfinancial applications. Ethereum's smart contract-driven blockchain might be the key to one day unlocking supply chain bottlenecks.However, what sounds great on paper doesn't always translate into real-world success. Blockchain continues to suffer from a Catch-22. Businesses won't adopt it till the technology is proven on a broad scale, but no businesses will abandon their existing (and proven) infrastructure to effectively be the guinea pig. That makes me uncomfortable.</p>\n<p>If I were to pick just one chart that explains the party in growth and speculation it would be this one from Charlie:</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/3bd38cc505e5ed3fe72d186d9d5bef7c\" tg-width=\"1024\" tg-height=\"792\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">If I were to pick a second it would be Solana which is a popular and speedy blockchain that has gone from $1 to $100 just this year alone ( I do own it):</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/9c8bd1921cce3efab04dacc3ae7e002f\" tg-width=\"1024\" tg-height=\"662\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">At the moment, the semiconductors, the Nasdaq 100 and the financials are at all time highs. The financials joining the all-time high party feels very bullish. I won’t dare fight this trend because I have made my living riding trends, but when things are so good, I like to remind myself of the moments that markets are in panic mode. It was not long ago that we people could not wait to sell every stock they owned.</p>\n<p>In today’s episode, I speculate on how the leading financials like Goldman Sachs as well as Google/Facebook are the megacap benefactors of the crypto explosion.</p>\n<p>Here are Ivanhoff’s quick thoughts on the markets:</p>\n<blockquote>\n Neither Covid nor rising inflation or Fed’s plan of tapering is scaring investors off. The large-cap indexes – SPY and QQQ, hit new all-time highs. The small-cap Russell 2000 had one of its strongest weeks in 2021 and closed above its 50-day moving average. The stock market is hitting on all cylinders in the midst of what is supposed to be a seasonally weak period for stocks. I guess we should not be really surprised by all that strength and relentless dip-buying. Money supply has gone up 40% in the past two years alone which is the fastest pace of increase in U.S. financial history. There’s so much money in the system and so many new millionaires (56MM by the last count) that pictures of rocks are selling for millions of dollars as NFT digital art. The world has invented entirely new asset classes to speculate on.\n</blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n Covid cases, hospitalizations, deaths, and restrictions are rising but it seems financial markets are looking past this threat and betting on a recovery six months or so from now. At least, this is how I read the recent price action in airlines, hotels, and department store stocks. Most of them took a sizable haircut during the summer and are now starting to stabilize and even look constructively. I am staying away from them for now but keeping a close eye on the development in the space.\n</blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n The negative correlation between tech and the so-called recovery stocks (mostly old-economy sectors like retail, financials, homebuilders, industrials) appears to be breaking. Both groups are now rising in unison. The software ETF- IGF closed at all-time highs. So did the semiconductor ETF – SMH. That makes me uncomfortable.\nIf I were to pick just one chart that explains the party in growth and speculation it would be this one from Charlie:\nIf I were to pick a second it would be Solana which is a popular and speedy blockchain that has gone from $1 to $100 just this year alone ( I do own it):\nAt the moment, the semiconductors, the Nasdaq 100 and the financials are at all time highs. The financials joining the all-time high party feels very bullish. I won’t dare fight this trend because I have made my living riding trends, but when things are so good, I like to remind myself of the moments that markets are in panic mode. It was not long ago that we people could not wait to sell every stock they owned.\nIn today’s episode, I speculate on how the leading financials like Goldman Sachs as well as Google/Facebook are the megacap benefactors of the crypto explosion.\nHere are Ivanhoff’s quick thoughts on the markets:\n\n Neither Covid nor rising inflation or Fed’s plan of tapering is scaring investors off. The large-cap indexes – SPY and QQQ, hit new all-time highs. The small-cap Russell 2000 had one of its strongest weeks in 2021 and closed above its 50-day moving average. The stock market is hitting on all cylinders in the midst of what is supposed to be a seasonally weak period for stocks. I guess we should not be really surprised by all that strength and relentless dip-buying. Money supply has gone up 40% in the past two years alone which is the fastest pace of increase in U.S. financial history. There’s so much money in the system and so many new millionaires (56MM by the last count) that pictures of rocks are selling for millions of dollars as NFT digital art. The world has invented entirely new asset classes to speculate on.\n\n\n Covid cases, hospitalizations, deaths, and restrictions are rising but it seems financial markets are looking past this threat and betting on a recovery six months or so from now. At least, this is how I read the recent price action in airlines, hotels, and department store stocks. Most of them took a sizable haircut during the summer and are now starting to stabilize and even look constructively. I am staying away from them for now but keeping a close eye on the development in the space.\n\n\n The negative correlation between tech and the so-called recovery stocks (mostly old-economy sectors like retail, financials, homebuilders, industrials) appears to be breaking. Both groups are now rising in unison. The software ETF- IGF closed at all-time highs. So did the semiconductor ETF – SMH. The report is due for release Tuesday morning.</p>\n<p>The headline index is likely to rise to 119.0 for June from 117.2 in May, according to Bloomberg consensus data. This would mark the highest level since February 2020's 132.6, which itself had been a near two-decade high.</p>\n<p>Like investors, consumers have begun to warm to the notion that inflationary pressures seen during the early stages of the economic recovery may prove transitory. BlackBerry will report earnings on Thursday after the close of trading.</p>\n<p>The problem? The last four times BlackBerry has reported earnings hasn’t resulted in a bullish reaction. Maybe this time around it sets up the stock for a nice upside surprise.</p>\n<p>If everyone is betting on or thinking a post-earnings dip is coming, perhaps BlackBerry will do the opposite. The recent pullback makes a rally easier too.</p>\n<p>However, that doesn’t mean BlackBerry&nbsp;will&nbsp;rally. Let’s look at the chart.</p>\n<p><b>Trading BlackBerry</b></p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/9f6fcdac271b6045287418197d2c4dc4\" tg-width=\"1240\" tg-height=\"760\"><span>Daily chart of BlackBerry stock.</span></p>\n<p>Near the end of May, BlackBerry went on a surge, rallying right to resistance at $12.13.</p>\n<p>At the time, the meme stock trade was just picking up momentum again after taking a few months off. Further, many stocks were also coming off the lows following a&nbsp;brutal bear market in growth stocks.</p>\n<p>With the rally, BlackBerry was looking good, even though it was initially rejected from the key $12.13 area.</p>\n<p>After that, I wrote:</p>\n<p>“On the upside, let's see if the stock can break out over $12.13. In that scenario, perhaps the $14 to $15 zone would be in play. Above that and who knows, perhaps we could see a further squeeze into the $17 to $20 area.”</p>\n<p>The stock topped at $20.17 and we’ve since seen a pretty large pullback. While BlackBerry stock has found its footing near $12.50 — nicely holding up above the $12.13 level — the 10-day moving average has continued to pressure it lower.</p>\n<p>On a bullish post-earnings reaction, bulls obviously want to see BlackBerry stock reclaim the 10-day moving average and have that measure turn to support. Above that and the $14.75 level will be our first obstacle. That’s last week’s high.</p>\n<p>Above that and we’ll be looking at the $16.50 to $17 area, with the 61.8% retracement of the current range up at $17.17. If shares clear that mark, $20 is technically back in play.</p>\n<p>On the downside, a move lower will thrust the $12.13 to $12.50 area into play. The iPhone maker’s privacy changes make it harder for apps to track users and restrict advertisers from accessing valuable data for targeting ads.</p>\n<p>The company also announced on Wednesday that it would require anyone working at its U.S. offices to be vaccinated against COVID-19, joining Alphabet Inc and Netflix.</p>\n<p>Monthly active users came in at 2.90 billion, up 7% from the same period last year but missing analyst expectations of 2.92 billion and marking the slowest growth rate in at least three years, according to IBES data from Refinitiv.</p>\n<p>“The user growth slowdown is notable and highlights the engagement challenges as the world opens up. But importantly, Facebook is the most exposed to Apple’s privacy changes, and it looks like it is starting to have an impact to the outlook beginning in 3Q,” said Ygal Arounian, an analyst at Wedbush Securities.</p>\n<p>Brian Wieser, GroupM’s global president of business intelligence, said all social media companies would see slower growth in the second half of the year and that it would take more concrete warnings about activity in June and July for anyone to anticipate a “meaningful deceleration.”</p>\n<p>Facebook’s total revenue, which primarily consists of ad sales, rose about 56% to $29.08 billion in the second quarter from $18.69 billion a year earlier, beating analysts’ estimates, according to IBES data from Refinitiv.</p>\n<p>Its revenue from advertising rose 56% to $28.58 billion in the second quarter ended June 30, Facebook said. It pointed to a 47% increase in price per ad.</p>\n<p>“In the third and fourth quarters of 2021, we expect year-over-year total revenue growth rates to decelerate significantly on a sequential basis as we lap periods of increasingly strong growth,” Chief Financial Officer Dave Wehner said in the earnings release.</p>\n<p>Net income in the second quarter more than doubled to $10.4 billion, or $3.61 per share. Analysts had expected a profit of $3.03 per share.</p>\n<p>The world’s largest social network has been ramping up its ecommerce efforts, which are expected to bring additional revenue to the company and make its ad inventory more valuable. The push will be key to how Facebook, which hosts more than 1 million online “Shops” on its main app and Instagram, can grow its ad business amid the impact of Apple’s changes.</p>\n<p>It is also on the offensive to attract top social media personalities and their fans, competing with Alphabet’s YouTube and short-video app TikTok, which recently hit 3 billion global downloads. Facebook said this month it would invest more than $1 billion to support content creators through the end of 2022.</p>\n<p>On a conference call with analysts, CEO Mark Zuckerberg also focused on another ambition for the company: the “metaverse.”</p>\n<p>Zuckerberg this week announced that Facebook, which has invested heavily in virtual reality and augmented reality, was setting up a team to work on building a shared digital world, which he is betting will be the successor to the mobile internet. Microsoft also dropped the buzzy Silicon Valley term on its earnings call this week, talking about its own plans for the converging digital and physical worlds.</p>\n<p>“Facebook has its eye on a sci-fi prize,” said Sophie Lund-Yates, equity analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown. “This is little more than an ambition for Facebook at the moment...if the idea comes to fruition, it could be a valuable income source.”</p>\n<p>The company also continues to face pressure from global lawmakers and regulators, including from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission which has until Aug. 19 to refile its antitrust complaint against the company and from a group of states who said on Wednesday they would appeal the judge’s dismissal of their lawsuit. Facebook’s market cap hit $1 trillion for the first time last month when the judge threw out the original complaints.</p>\n<p>The company, which has long been under fire from lawmakers over misinformation and other abuses on its apps, has also come under renewed scrutiny from President Joe Biden’s administration over the handling of false claims about COVID-19. The iPhone maker’s privacy changes make it harder for apps to track users and restrict advertisers from accessing valuable data for targeting ads.\nThe company also announced on Wednesday that it would require anyone working at its U.S. offices to be vaccinated against COVID-19, joining Alphabet Inc and Netflix.\nMonthly active users came in at 2.90 billion, up 7% from the same period last year but missing analyst expectations of 2.92 billion and marking the slowest growth rate in at least three years, according to IBES data from Refinitiv.\n“The user growth slowdown is notable and highlights the engagement challenges as the world opens up. A company of this size reporting revenue growth of more than 53% over the prior year period was truly remarkable. Yes, the company has benefited from soft earlier year comparisons and the work from home tailwinds, but you can't argue that its products are not in high demand. As great as Apple's numbers have been lately, it might prove to be a risk later this year.</p>\n<p>I am saying today that Apple could be a victim of its own success because the stock market is always a what have you done for me lately crowd. As the chart below shows, the high revenue growth rates we'll see are expected to come crashing down once we hit the December quarter (fiscal Q1 2022). That 53% growth figure for the March 2021 quarter sets up an insanely high bar that analysts don't think can be repeated next year. Blue bars are actual results, while green ones are current street average estimates.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/2b61b66cfb83a8e7f307580dd6277be6\" tg-width=\"625\" tg-height=\"397\"><span>(Source: Seeking Alpha estimates page)</span></p>\n<p>I'm sure the Apple bear crowd will be out in full force if Apple guides to or reports a revenue decline for fiscal Q2 2022. Of course, a small top line decline then would still be a tremendous quarter when looking at the longer term picture. Even though analysts are currently looking for a 2.2% revenue decline in that March 2022 quarter, the average revenue estimate for that period has risen by nearly 16% over the past six months, for example. Over the past year, the average is up by almost $20 billion.</p>\n<p>Apple has been helped by the coronavirus in the short term, not only from the work from home crowd buying more tablets and computers, but by the massive stimulus provided by global governments. While those tailwinds will calm down in the coming quarters, economies should be doing better so consumer spending should remain fairly decent. Even though central banks may start to tighten their monetary policy a little, they are certainly not going to do anything severe that will crash things again.</p>\n<p>The other issue for Apple regarding the coronavirus was the timing of major launches. With factories shut down for a time in 2020, the iPhone release schedule for last year changed in a meaningful way. Instead of seeing one or more phones available to consumers in September, two iPhone 12 models went on sale in late October, with the other two in mid-November. If Apple returns to a normal schedule this year, it will pull billions of revenue forward into the September 2021 (fiscal Q4) quarter. That could further make the early 2022 comparisons tougher to match, giving more fuel to the bears.</p>\n<p>When Apple has a big sales year, like it is having with the iPhone currently, investors worry that the next cycle won't be as strong in terms of unit sales. I'm not as concerned this time around with that, partially because consumers are going to want and need to upgrade to 5G smartphones, and that should fuel a multi-year upgrade period. The other thing that could help is if Apple follows what it did with the iPad Pro launch from earlier this year. Take a look at the following table which shows the initial pricing of the larger screen Pro tablet version over the years. There are also the Cellular models that will cost a little bit more, but for this argument, I'm only showing the base Wi-Fi model.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f77225da409fee0ad2e69fb1c32c2505\" tg-width=\"640\" tg-height=\"107\"><span>(Source: iPad Pro wikipedia page)</span></p>\n<p>Because of both the advancements in technology as well as larger storage, Apple has raised prices significantly over the years. The most expensive version of this tablet has doubled in price since 2015, and the three lowest storage versions are up $100 each over their prior year counterpart. Thus, if you are arguing that iPad unit sales may be down 5-10% a year from now, it may not be a big deal if Apple is seeing average selling prices that are up 15-20% over that time. I could see a similar thing happening with the iPhone this year, depending on how many older generations stick around and whether or not Apple launches a 1 TB storage option for the smartphone.</p>\n<p>Even if Apple's results aren't as tremendous as some hope they might be moving forward, this company is still doing incredibly well. Free cash flow could be well over $80 billion this year, allowing for a dividend and huge buyback. Don't forget that as shares stay around this $125 level, the repurchasing of shares becomes more significant each quarter as the share count comes down. $20 billion in buybacks every three months at a $2.1 trillion market cap does more than at a $2.2 trillion valuation, for example, and earnings per share will continue to benefit.</p>\n<p>Wednesday was another important day for Apple. With the market dropping at the open, Apple fell below its 200-day moving average (green line below). However, the stock was able to regain this key technical level and close above it. As the chart below shows, shares are currently stuck between the 50 and 200-day moving averages, and both lines are mostly flat at this point. Should the stock be able to get back above the shorter term trend line, it could provide a level of support moving forward.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/de8ca788fa86bda735f874b66546312a\" tg-width=\"640\" tg-height=\"273\"><span>(Source: Yahoo! Two massive blowout quarters have not only sent analyst estimates through the roof, but set high bars for future quarters. While the company's sales will remain in an uptrend over the long term, I'm sure the bears will surface if the top line is forecast to decline, especially if a normal iPhone launch pulls sales forward. That could further make the early 2022 comparisons tougher to match, giving more fuel to the bears.\nWhen Apple has a big sales year, like it is having with the iPhone currently, investors worry that the next cycle won't be as strong in terms of unit sales. I'm not as concerned this time around with that, partially because consumers are going to want and need to upgrade to 5G smartphones, and that should fuel a multi-year upgrade period. The other thing that could help is if Apple follows what it did with the iPad Pro launch from earlier this year. Take a look at the following table which shows the initial pricing of the larger screen Pro tablet version over the years. There are also the Cellular models that will cost a little bit more, but for this argument, I'm only showing the base Wi-Fi model.\n(Source: iPad Pro wikipedia page)\nBecause of both the advancements in technology as well as larger storage, Apple has raised prices significantly over the years. The most expensive version of this tablet has doubled in price since 2015, and the three lowest storage versions are up $100 each over their prior year counterpart. Thus, if you are arguing that iPad unit sales may be down 5-10% a year from now, it may not be a big deal if Apple is seeing average selling prices that are up 15-20% over that time. I could see a similar thing happening with the iPhone this year, depending on how many older generations stick around and whether or not Apple launches a 1 TB storage option for the smartphone.\nEven if Apple's results aren't as tremendous as some hope they might be moving forward, this company is still doing incredibly well. Free cash flow could be well over $80 billion this year, allowing for a dividend and huge buyback. Don't forget that as shares stay around this $125 level, the repurchasing of shares becomes more significant each quarter as the share count comes down. $20 billion in buybacks every three months at a $2.1 trillion market cap does more than at a $2.2 trillion valuation, for example, and earnings per share will continue to benefit.\nWednesday was another important day for Apple. With the market dropping at the open, Apple fell below its 200-day moving average (green line below). However, the stock was able to regain this key technical level and close above it. As the chart below shows, shares are currently stuck between the 50 and 200-day moving averages, and both lines are mostly flat at this point. Should the stock be able to get back above the shorter term trend line, it could provide a level of support moving forward.\n(Source: Yahoo! Two massive blowout quarters have not only sent analyst estimates through the roof, but set high bars for future quarters. While the company's sales will remain in an uptrend over the long term, I'm sure the bears will surface if the top line is forecast to decline, especially if a normal iPhone launch pulls sales forward.
