Every day the Zacks Equity Research analysts discuss the latest news and events impacting stocks and the financial markets. Stocks recently featured in the blog include: BlackBerry Limited BB, Calyxt, Inc. CLXT, DAQO New Energy Corp. DQ, Avis Budget Group, Inc. The recent short squeeze saga, wherein investors piled into GME to drive its shares higher, pushing short sellers to close their positions and thus sending them higher still, proves the point. This artificially created momentum obviously has a relatively short lifespan, even when regulators don't step in. That's when we see the shares retreating rapidly.
\n
For an individual investor, it can be disconcerting to have shares inexplicably moving higher or lower. But it's important to remember that market makers are making such moves all the time. So if you're a day trader, you're as good as gambling. And we all know how that goes.
\n
A much better plan, although it involves both time and patience, is to study the market, study the stocks, learn about their recent earnings results and the direction of their estimates. Because no matter what the market does, a company that's in an attractive industry, with a good management team, generating strong results and bettering analyst expectations is going to be a good investment. If all this happens with any kind of regularity, you can be rest assured that the shares will be trading higher and higher over time.
\n
So instead of worrying about what any one stock is doing on any one day, double-down on the homework. Because that's what pays.
\n
Today, I've lined up five stocks that have also soared in the past week, but with much lower risk because these increases were driven by estimate revisions. Here's the list-
\n
BlackBerry
\n
This cybersecurity software and services company sells a software platform for managing security, mobility, and communication between hardware, programs, mobile apps and the Internet of Things. Its endpoint management system is the only one on the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Products List.
\n
The shares have a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), which means it has a good chance of appreciating over the next one month.
\n
Blackberry's shares have jumped 53.2% over the past week.
\n
The Zacks Consensus Estimate for fiscal 2021 (ending February) has increased 5 cents (38.5%) over the last 60 days, including a penny over the past week. For 2022, the estimate is up 9 cents (90.0%). The company wont report until the end of March, but the trend looks pretty good.
\n
Overall, revenue is expected to be down 15.7% in 2021 and grow 14.3% in 2022. Earnings are expected to be up 38.5% in 2021 and 5.6% in 2022.
\n
Calyxt
\n
The Zacks Rank #1 company researches and develops seeds and food ingredients for agricultural purposes, feed and food. It also offers fat saturation and gluten reduction processing in soybean oil and wheat.
\n
The company is yet to make any profit. However, its performance over the past year hasn't been exceptionally bad, with the top and bottom lines on track to grow 145.3% and 3.3%. Nor has it been anything to write home about.
\n
The loss estimate for 2020 has moved down a penny over the past 7 days. But it is the 2021 loss estimate that has investors cheering, because that is down 22 cents.
\n
The shares are up 34.2% in the past week.
\n
The company reports on March 4.
\n
DAQO New Energy
\n
The Zacks Rank #1 company manufactures and sells high-quality polysilicon to photovoltaic product manufacturers.
\n
The company saw a very strong triple-digit increase in its earnings in 2020, despite a miss in the September quarter that was followed by an adjustment of estimates for the December quarter. So while the 2020 estimate remains unchanged, the estimate for 2021 jumped from $2.82 to $3.59 just 7 days ago and then up again to $3.74 since.
\n
As a result, the shares moved up 23.0%.
\n
DQ reports on March 10.
\n
Avis Budget Group
\n
Avis is a vehicle rental company in North America, Europe and Australasia with an average rental fleet of nearly 650,000 vehicles, operating through its Avis, Budget and Zipcar brands.
\n
The shares carry a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
\n
It had a dismal 2020, dropping to a loss in the first quarter that only deepened in the second. Things improved from the September quarter onward, but 2020 is still expected to see revenue and earnings decline 40.5% and 267.9%, respectively. In 2021, revenues are expected to grow 31.4% and earnings 102.7%.
\n
In the last 7 days, the loss estimate for 2020 went from $6.15 to $6.18. However, the 2021 estimate went from $0.00 to a profit of 16 cents.
\n
The shares are up 17.5% in the past week and they could move higher when the company reports on Feb 16.
\n
3D Systems
\n
The Zacks Rank #2 company is a leading provider of 3D content-to-print solutions spanning 3D printers, print materials, on-demand custom parts services and 3D authoring solutions for professional and consumer use.
\n
Like many others, DDD had a weak 2020, particularly the second quarter of the year. September results came in much better than expected, which had analysts raising estimates for quarter four.
\n
But in the last 7 days, estimates were raised again. So now, we have December quarter estimates increasing 4 cents (57.1%), with the 2020 estimate improving by a like amount. It is expected to swing back into profit again this year and the profit estimate went from 26 cents to 33 cents 7 days ago.
\n
The shares are up 20.0% over the past week and are very likely to trade higher when the company reports on Feb 24.
\n
The Hottest Tech Mega-Trend of All
\n
Last year, it generated $24 billion in global revenues. By 2020, it's predicted to blast through the roof to $77.6 billion. GameStop or T","content":"

\n
\nMW How you could lose everything by short-selling stocks, whether it's betting against GameStop or Tesla\n
\n
\n By Philip van Doorn \n
\n
\n GameStop short-sellers are blowing up professional investors' funds. But the story is far different for bets against Tesla and other large-cap stocks. \n
\n
\n The wild ride for GameStop Corp.'s stock illustrates the power of social media to force short-sellers -- even professional investors -- to give up on their positions and book heavy losses. But talk of individual investors \"breaking\" the mechanics of the stock market may be premature. \n
\n
\n Among the S&P Composite 1500, GameStop is the most heavily shorted stock as a percentage of shares available for sale, according to FactSet, which updates the numbers twice a month. The most heavily shorted stock in dollars is Tesla Inc. $(TSLA)$. \n
\n
\n Tesla and other large companies, including Amazon.com Inc. $(AMZN)$ and Apple Inc. $(AAPL)$, have tens of billions of dollars in short sales against their stocks. Those bets center around hedge funds and other professional investors making much bigger wagers than the ones against GameStop. \n
\n
\n \"I have never see anybody rush the capital markets like they did [into GameStop's shares], and it could not have occurred without social media. The public has gotten so much more involved in individual stocks that they are overwhelming the professionals right now, in these small- and mid-cap stocks. Not in Tesla,\" said Brad Lamensdorf, CEO of ActiveAlts in Westport, Conn., who runs long and short investment strategies. \n
\n
\n Regardless, GameStop's action illustrates, once again, why non-professionals shouldn't short-sell stocks. \n
\n
\n Take a look at the one-year chart for GameStop's stock through Jan. 25: \n
\n
\n That's a rocket ride, as investors who connected through Reddit poured money into the shares, pushing the price up, which forced investors with short positions to cover, which pushed up the shares even higher, despite a lack of any recent good financial news from the company , as Wallace Witkowski explained. \n
\n
\n Short-selling is when an investor borrows shares and immediately sells them, hoping he or she can buy them back later at a lower price, return them to the lender and pocket the difference. \n
\n
\n What makes shorting stocks best left to professionals is the potential for unlimited losses. In contrast, if you buy shares of a company (take a \"long\" position) and the stock falls, your potential loss is the amount of your investment. It can be wiped out if the company goes bankrupt. \n
\n
\n But if you short a stock, what if it goes up and keeps going up? Your loss potential goes to infinity. At some point you will probably give up and \"cover\" your short position by buying the shares to return them to the lender, and take the loss. If you borrow shares and sell them for $10, and then cover at $20, you just lost $10 a share. If a stock you have shorted rises, your broker eventually will demand more collateral -- cash set aside to protect the broker from potential losses as your loss position increases in size. \n
\n
\n So a short squeeze is a scramble among investors with short positions to buy shares and cover as quickly as possible. It can create a feeding frenzy and a temporary spike in the share price, as we have seen for GameStop. \n
\n
\n On Monday, while discussing GameStop, Jim Cramer said on CNBC that \"[t]he mechanics of the market are breaking down. It's arguable that these people are all one group.\" \n
\n
\n Starting with the S&P Composite 1500 Index (made up of the S&P 500 , the S&P 400 Mid Cap Index $(MID)$ and the S&P Small-Cap 600 Index ), here are the 20 stocks with the highest percentages of shares sold short against the total number of shares available for trading: \n
\n
\n Scroll the table to see all the data. \n
\n
\n The short percentages supplied by FactSet are updated twice a month, based on the most recently available data for shares sold short and the number of shares outstanding and available for trading as of the previous month-end. \n
\n
\n Lamensdorf, who co-manages the AdvisorShares Ranger Equity Bear ETF (HDGE), argues that any short percentage \"over 30% to 40% is outrageously high.\" Participating in a trade that is so aggressive is very risky because the chance of a short squeeze is so much higher, he said during an interview. \n
\n
\n HDGE is designed to be used by professional investors as a hedging tool. The ETF takes short positions in companies its managers believe exhibit low earnings quality or \"aggressive accounting\" that may \"mask operational deterioration.\" \n
\n
\n Lamensdorf stressed that in a bull market, a short-only fund is \"a very lonely place,\" and that it is meant to be used to help investors create their own long/short strategies. \n
\n
\n Professional money managers' long/short strategies help explain why a company such as CleanSpark Inc. $(CLSK)$, whose shares have risen from about $10 in late November to $25 recently, still has 10% of its shares sold short. \n
\n
\n \"Some of the quantitative investors are levered two-to-one, and they are long/short similar companies, and are just trying to play the spread between the two. They do not care if they are squeezed with some, because they have something on the other side appreciating at a similar rate,\" according to Lamensdorf. \n
\n
\n While discussing the GameStop short squeeze, Lamensdorf said this sort of action -- individual investors using social media to greatly affect a stock's movement -- isn't happening with large companies. Tesla Inc. (TSLA) provides an astounding example. \n
\n
\n When asked how it was possible for more than 100% of GameStop's shares to be sold short, Lamensdorf said that there are places where people can have \"naked\" short positions -- those that didn't involve actually borrowing the shares to short them. \n
\n
\n \"It is illegal, in general, to short a stock without borrowing,\" he said, \"but sometimes a broker is not as careful as it need to be.\" \n
\n
\n In the S&P Composite 1500, here are the 20 companies with the highest amount of dollars' worth of shares sold short: \n
\n
\n So 8% of Tesla's float is sold short, but that is $66.7 billion. \n
\n
\n \"That's not Robinhood, dude!\" Lamensdorf said -- emphasizing that for the largest companies, the short action is controlled by hedge funds and other professional investors. \n
\n
\n It is notable that GameStop is on both lists -- it shows how extreme the situation is for that stock, at least until FactSet's data catches up with all the covered short positions. \n
\n
\n Take a look at the second company on the second table: Amazon has only 1% of its float sold short, but that adds up to $12.7 billion. Next is Apple with a significant 5% short, for $12.5 billion. Other companies on the list that may surprise you include Microsoft Corp. $(MSFT)$, Facebook Inc. (FB) and Nvidia Corp. $(NVDA)$, but again, these companies have relatively small percentages of short-sales but large market capitalizations. \n
\n
\n Lamensdorf is CEO of ActiveAlts, through which he and colleagues run a \"momentum\" strategy that focuses on stocks of heavily shorted companies. \n
\n
\n An example of a heavily shorted stock that has been very profitable for Lamensdorf is BlackBerry Ltd. (BB.T). Take a look at the one-year chart: \n
\n
\n Shares of BlackBerry began to fly up after the company announced a multiyear deal to provide software for Amazon Web Services . Lamensdorf said that BlackBerry had already been \"a core position of ours,\" because of his confidence that the company, under the leadership of CEO John Chen, would continue to enter new contracts with companies developing technology for autonomous vehicles and otherwise connected vehicles. \n
\n
\n BlackBerry always had a reputation for excellent network security. That wasn't enough to save its smartphone business from the iPhone and Android phones, but there is a growing need for what BlackBerry offers. \n
\n
\n The action for BlackBerry's stock continues to be heated. The shares flew up 28% on Jan. 25, and on the same day, the company released a statement saying it was \"not awar to develop autonomous driving technology. \n
\n
\n According to FactSet, 7.1% of BlackBerry's shares are still sold short. On a market cap that has now reached $10.1 billion, that's more than $700 million in short bets against the company. \n
\n
\n \"You are talking about short-sellers down $1.4 billion,\" Lamensdorf said. \n
\n
\n -Philip van Doorn; 415-439-6400; AskNewswires@dowjones.com \n
\n
\n \n
\n
\n $(END)$ Dow Jones Newswires\n
\n
\n January 26, 2021 08:50 ET (13:50 GMT)\n
\n
\n Copyright (c) 2021 Dow Jones & Company, Inc.\n
\n

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
How you could lose everything by short-selling stocks, whether it's betting against GameStop or Tesla
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nHow you could lose everything by short-selling stocks, whether it's betting against GameStop or Tesla\n
\n\n
\n\n\n<div class=\"head\" \">\n\n\n

\n\n
\n
Dow Jones
\n
2021-01-26 21:50
\n
\n\n
\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n

\n\n\n The wild ride for GameStop Corp.'s stock illustrates the power of social media to force short-sellers -- even professional investors -- to give up on their positions and book heavy losses. But talk of individual investors \"breaking\" the mechanics of the stock market may be premature. \n\n\n Among the S&P Composite 1500, GameStop is the most heavily shorted stock as a percentage of shares available for sale, according to FactSet, which updates the numbers twice a month. The most heavily shorted stock in dollars is Tesla Inc. $(TSLA)$. \n\n\n Tesla and other large companies, including Amazon.com Inc. $(AMZN)$ and Apple Inc. $(AAPL)$, have tens of billions of dollars in short sales against their stocks. Those bets center around hedge funds and other professional investors making much bigger wagers than the ones against GameStop. \n\n\n \"I have never see anybody rush the capital markets like they did [into GameStop's shares], and it could not have occurred without social media. \n\n\n Regardless, GameStop's action illustrates, once again, why non-professionals shouldn't short-sell stocks. \n\n\n Take a look at the one-year chart for GameStop's stock through Jan. 25: \n\n\n That's a rocket ride, as investors who connected through Reddit poured money into the shares, pushing the price up, which forced investors with short positions to cover, which pushed up the shares even higher, despite a lack of any recent good financial news from the company , as Wallace Witkowski explained. \n\n\n Short-selling is when an investor borrows shares and immediately sells them, hoping he or she can buy them back later at a lower price, return them to the lender and pocket the difference. \n\n\n What makes shorting stocks best left to professionals is the potential for unlimited losses. In contrast, if you buy shares of a company (take a \"long\" position) and the stock falls, your potential loss is the amount of your investment. It can be wiped out if the company goes bankrupt. \n\n\n But if you short a stock, what if it goes up and keeps going up? Your loss potential goes to infinity. At some point you will probably give up and \"cover\" your short position by buying the shares to return them to the lender, and take the loss. If you borrow shares and sell them for $10, and then cover at $20, you just lost $10 a share. If a stock you have shorted rises, your broker eventually will demand more collateral -- cash set aside to protect the broker from potential losses as your loss position increases in size. \n\n\n So a short squeeze is a scramble among investors with short positions to buy shares and cover as quickly as possible. It can create a feeding frenzy and a temporary spike in the share price, as we have seen for GameStop. \n\n\n On Monday, while discussing GameStop, Jim Cramer said on CNBC that \"[t]he mechanics of the market are breaking down. It's arguable that these people are all one group.\" \n\n\n Starting with the S&P Composite 1500 Index (made up of the S&P 500 , the S&P 400 Mid Cap Index $(MID)$ and the S&P Small-Cap 600 Index ), here are the 20 stocks with the highest percentages of shares sold short against the total number of shares available for trading: \n\n\n Scroll the table to see all the data. \n\n\n The short percentages supplied by FactSet are updated twice a month, based on the most recently available data for shares sold short and the number of shares outstanding and available for trading as of the previous month-end. \n\n\n Lamensdorf, who co-manages the AdvisorShares Ranger Equity Bear ETF (HDGE), argues that any short percentage \"over 30% to 40% is outrageously high.\" Participating in a trade that is so aggressive is very risky because the chance of a short squeeze is so much higher, he said during an interview. \n\n\n HDGE is designed to be used by professional investors as a hedging tool. The ETF takes short positions in companies its managers believe exhibit low earnings quality or \"aggressive accounting\" that may \"mask operational deterioration.\" \n\n\n Lamensdorf stressed that in a bull market, a short-only fund is \"a very lonely place,\" and that it is meant to be used to help investors create their own long/short strategies. \n\n\n Professional money managers' long/short strategies help explain why a company such as CleanSpark Inc. $(CLSK)$, whose shares have risen from about $10 in late November to $25 recently, still has 10% of its shares sold short. \n\n\n \"Some of the quantitative investors are levered two-to-one, and they are long/short similar companies, and are just trying to play the spread between the two. They do not care if they are squeezed with some, because they have something on the other side appreciating at a similar rate,\" according to Lamensdorf. \n\n\n While discussing the GameStop short squeeze, Lamensdorf said this sort of action -- individual investors using social media to greatly affect a stock's movement -- isn't happening with large companies. Tesla Inc. (TSLA) provides an astounding example. \n\n\n When asked how it was possible for more than 100% of GameStop's shares to be sold short, Lamensdorf said that there are places where people can have \"naked\" short positions -- those that didn't involve actually borrowing the shares to short them. \n\n\n \"It is illegal, in general, to short a stock without borrowing,\" he said, \"but sometimes a broker is not as careful as it need to be.\" \n\n\n In the S&P Composite 1500, here are the 20 companies with the highest amount of dollars' worth of shares sold short: \n\n\n So 8% of Tesla's float is sold short, but that is $66.7 billion. \n\n\n \"That's not Robinhood, dude!\" Lamensdorf said -- emphasizing that for the largest companies, the short action is controlled by hedge funds and other professional investors. \n\n\n It is notable that GameStop is on both lists -- it shows how extreme the situation is for that stock, at least until FactSet's data catches up with all the covered short positions. \n\n\n Take a look at the second company on the second table: Amazon has only 1% of its float sold short, but that adds up to $12.7 billion. \n\n\n Lamensdorf is CEO of ActiveAlts, through which he and colleagues run a \"momentum\" strategy that focuses on stocks of heavily shorted companies. \n\n\n An example of a heavily shorted stock that has been very profitable for Lamensdorf is BlackBerry Ltd. (BB.T). Take a look at the one-year chart: \n\n\n Shares of BlackBerry began to fly up after the company announced a multiyear deal to provide software for Amazon Web Services . Lamensdorf said that BlackBerry had already been \"a core position of ours,\" because of his confidence that the company, under the leadership of CEO John Chen, would continue to enter new contracts with companies developing technology for autonomous vehicles and otherwise connected vehicles. \n\n\n BlackBerry always had a reputation for excellent network security. That wasn't enough to save its smartphone business from the iPhone and Android phones, but there is a growing need for what BlackBerry offers. \n\n\n The action for BlackBerry's stock continues to be heated. The shares flew up 28% on Jan. 25, and on the same day, the company released a statement saying it was \"not awar to develop autonomous driving technology. \n\n\n According to FactSet, 7.1% of BlackBerry's shares are still sold short. On a market cap that has now reached $10.1 billion, that's more than $700 million in short bets against the company. \n\n\n \"You are talking about short-sellers down $1.4 billion,\" Lamensdorf said. Every day the Zacks Equity Research analysts discuss the latest news and events impacting stocks and the financial markets. Stocks recently featured in the blog include: BlackBerry Limited BB, Calyxt, Inc. CLXT, DAQO New Energy Corp. DQ, Avis Budget Group, Inc. CAR and 3D Systems Corporation DDD.
\n
Here are highlights from Friday’s Analyst Blog:
\n
5 High-Flying Stocks Set to Move Higher
\n
If there's one thing certain about the market, it's uncertainty.
Famed investor Mark Cuban says it will produce \"the world's first trillionaires,\" but that should still leave plenty of money for regular investors who make the right trades early.
\n
See Zacks' 3 Best Stocks to Play This Trend >>
\n
Media Contact
\n
Zacks Investment Research
\n
800-767-3771 ext. 9339
\n
support@zacks.com
\n
https://www.zacks.com
\n
Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Every day the Zacks Equity Research analysts discuss the latest news and events impacting stocks and the financial markets. Stocks recently featured in the blog include: BlackBerry Limited BB, Calyxt, Inc. CLXT, DAQO New Energy Corp. DQ, Avis Budget Group, Inc. CAR and 3D Systems Corporation DDD.\nHere are highlights from Friday’s Analyst Blog:\n5 High-Flying Stocks Set to Move Higher\nIf there's one thing certain about the market, it's uncertainty. The recent short squeeze saga, wherein investors piled into GME to drive its shares higher, pushing short sellers to close their positions and thus sending them higher still, proves the point. This artificially created momentum obviously has a relatively short lifespan, even when regulators don't step in. That's when we see the shares retreating rapidly.\nFor an individual investor, it can be disconcerting to have shares inexplicably moving higher or lower. But it's important to remember that market makers are making such moves all the time. So if you're a day trader, you're as good as gambling. And we all know how that goes.\nA much better plan, although it involves both time and patience, is to study the market, study the stocks, learn about their recent earnings results and the direction of their estimates. Because no matter what the market does, a company that's in an attractive industry, with a good management team, generating strong results and bettering analyst expectations is going to be a good investment. If all this happens with any kind of regularity, you can be rest assured that the shares will be trading higher and higher over time.\nSo instead of worrying about what any one stock is doing on any one day, double-down on the homework. Because that's what pays.\nToday, I've lined up five stocks that have also soared in the past week, but with much lower risk because these increases were driven by estimate revisions. Here's the list-\nBlackBerry\nThis cybersecurity software and services company sells a software platform for managing security, mobility, and communication between hardware, programs, mobile apps and the Internet of Things. Its endpoint management system is the only one on the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Products List.\nThe shares have a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), which means it has a good chance of appreciating over the next one month.\nBlackberry's shares have jumped 53.2% over the past week.\nThe Zacks Consensus Estimate for fiscal 2021 (ending February) has increased 5 cents (38.5%) over the last 60 days, including a penny over the past week. For 2022, the estimate is up 9 cents (90.0%). The company wont report until the end of March, but the trend looks pretty good.\nOverall, revenue is expected to be down 15.7% in 2021 and grow 14.3% in 2022. Earnings are expected to be up 38.5% in 2021 and 5.6% in 2022.\nCalyxt\nThe Zacks Rank #1 company researches and develops seeds and food ingredients for agricultural purposes, feed and food. It also offers fat saturation and gluten reduction processing in soybean oil and wheat.\nThe company is yet to make any profit. However, its performance over the past year hasn't been exceptionally bad, with the top and bottom lines on track to grow 145.3% and 3.3%. Nor has it been anything to write home about.\nThe loss estimate for 2020 has moved down a penny over the past 7 days. But it is the 2021 loss estimate that has investors cheering, because that is down 22 cents.\nThe shares are up 34.2% in the past week.\nThe company reports on March 4.\nDAQO New Energy\nThe Zacks Rank #1 company manufactures and sells high-quality polysilicon to photovoltaic product manufacturers.\nThe company saw a very strong triple-digit increase in its earnings in 2020, despite a miss in the September quarter that was followed by an adjustment of estimates for the December quarter. So while the 2020 estimate remains unchanged, the estimate for 2021 jumped from $2.82 to $3.59 just 7 days ago and then up again to $3.74 since.\nAs a result, the shares moved up 23.0%.\nDQ reports on March 10.\nAvis Budget Group\nAvis is a vehicle rental company in North America, Europe and Australasia with an average rental fleet of nearly 650,000 vehicles, operating through its Avis, Budget and Zipcar brands.\nThe shares carry a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).\nIt had a dismal 2020, dropping to a loss in the first quarter that only deepened in the second. Things improved from the September quarter onward, but 2020 is still expected to see revenue and earnings decline 40.5% and 267.9%, respectively. In 2021, revenues are expected to grow 31.4% and earnings 102.7%.\nIn the last 7 days, the loss estimate for 2020 went from $6.15 to $6.18. However, the 2021 estimate went from $0.00 to a profit of 16 cents.\nThe shares are up 17.5% in the past week and they could move higher when the company reports on Feb 16.\n3D Systems\nThe Zacks Rank #2 company is a leading provider of 3D content-to-print solutions spanning 3D printers, print materials, on-demand custom parts services and 3D authoring solutions for professional and consumer use.\nLike many others, DDD had a weak 2020, particularly the second quarter of the year. September results came in much better than expected, which had analysts raising estimates for quarter four.\nBut in the last 7 days, estimates were raised again. So now, we have December quarter estimates increasing 4 cents (57.1%), with the 2020 estimate improving by a like amount. It is expected to swing back into profit again this year and the profit estimate went from 26 cents to 33 cents 7 days ago.\nThe shares are up 20.0% over the past week and are very likely to trade higher when the company reports on Feb 24.\nThe Hottest Tech Mega-Trend of All\nLast year, it generated $24 billion in global revenues. By 2020, it's predicted to blast through the roof to $77.6 billion. Famed investor Mark Cuban says it will produce \"the world's first trillionaires,\" but that should still leave plenty of money for regular investors who make the right trades early.\nSee Zacks' 3 Best Stocks to Play This Trend >>\nMedia Contact\nZacks Investment Research\n800-767-3771 ext. 9339\nsupport@zacks.com \nhttps://www.zacks.com \nPast performance is no guarantee of future results.
