2」。因为无论从尺寸还是售价,它都被认为是一台更小号的 Model 3,目标则是为特斯拉打开更大的消费市场,以完成马斯克曾经豪言的 2030 年两千万辆的销售目标。</p><p>传闻中,Model 2 的售价将下探至 2.5 万美元(折合约 18 万元人民币),比 Model 3 还要低 30% 左右,有望于 2025 年年终开始生产。</p><p>马斯克很快便驳斥了路透的这则独家新闻。这并不是一件新鲜事,更有意思的是,几小时后他突然在个人 X 账号上放出猛料:</p><p>特斯拉 Robotaxi(无人出租车)将于 8 月 8 号发布。</p><p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img 曝光日期|图片来源:X</span></p><p>路透很快跟进了马斯克的回复,表示特斯拉正在将原本用在 Model 2 的精力,转向 Robotaxi。</p><p>当 Waymo、Cruise 等美国无人驾驶出租车陷入政策和营收泥潭、中国无人驾驶公司都在降级成 L2 为车企打工的时候,为什么特斯拉要「砍掉」备受期待的 Model 2,转向目前仍看不到方向的 Robotaxi?马斯克,又在下一盘什么大棋?</p><p><strong>01</strong></p><p><strong>先有 Robotaxi,后有 Model 2</strong></p><p>乍一看,这是一个有些奇怪的对比。</p><p>因为 Model 2 和 Robotaxi 对应着两种截然不同的商业模式:前者代表着我们如今熟悉的这个特斯拉,依靠汽车零售,从 C 端消费者那里直接赚钱,在去年第四季度之前,特斯拉一直是全球销量最高的电动车品牌;而后者则对应着一个集出行、人工<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/5RE.SI\">智能</a>、共享经济等于一体的全新行业,放眼全球,目前还没有任何一家企业能够从 Robotaxi 项目上正向盈利。</p><p>但如果外媒的报道并非毫无根据的捕风捉影,我们倒也可以从车辆研发的逻辑中,找到特斯拉在 2024 年 Q1 做出商业重心切换的理由。</p><p>完全从零开始,正向研发一款全新的车型,需要长达数年的时间。但如果基于一个成熟的平台,那么开发时间将会大幅缩短,这也是为什么<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/HYUD.UK\">现代汽车</a>工业强调平台的重要性。在去年上市的由艾萨克森撰写的《马斯克传》里,就提到了 Model 2 和 Robotaxi,其实都基于特斯拉正在研发的新一代平台。</p><p><strong>而且,某种程度上,是先有马斯克对于 Robotaxi 的执念,才有了对于 Model 2 的研发。</strong></p><p>从时间角度上,马斯克第一次提出要设计一款「没有方向盘和加速制动踏板」的汽车,发生在 2016 年;而特斯拉内部第一次提出要造出一台比 Model 3 更便宜的廉价汽车,则发生在 2020 年,<strong>而马斯克对这款廉价车型一直兴趣不大</strong>。</p><p>事实上,当马斯克 2020 年在内部毙掉 Model 2 项目的时候,特斯拉首席设计师 Franz 就开始打着研发 Robotaxi 的旗号,暗中推进着 Model 2 的影子计划了。</p><p>在《马斯克传》里,作者披露,马斯克真正批准 Model 2 项目,已经是 20222 年 9 月的事了。<strong>Franz「画饼」的方式,正是投其所好,表示 Model 2 和 Robotaxi 可以「一鱼两吃」,因为二者基于同一个架构开发,而且 他展露出的并不是期待,而是认为「这不是一个多令人兴奋的产品」。</p><p>马斯克并没有在 X 平台上再透露关于 Robotaxi 的其他信息,我们也并不知道 8 月 8 号的「发布」将会有怎样的内容。不过,按照此前披露的 Model 2 时间线,这款同平台车型距离规模化生产大概率还有 1 年时间。</p><p><strong>02</strong></p><p><strong>卖车哪有卖 AI 性感?</strong></p><p>尽管一直有一种戏谑的说法,说马斯克是在用从特斯拉赚来的钱,去填补他在 SpaceX 上追逐自己火星梦的亏损。但从马斯克对于特斯拉这家公司的经营思路来看,特斯拉显示不止是一家仅靠售卖硬件来赚钱养家的公司。</p><p>这次回怼路透「说谎」的时候,马斯克还在 X 账号上贴出了他在 2016 年发布在特斯拉官网的「第二步整体规划」,其中提到:一开始生产小批量的汽车,是为了赚钱后实现规模化,打造更多人可以消费得起的电动汽车。<strong>但他在那篇 2016 年的文章里就提到:特斯拉可能「不太需要比 Model 3 更低成本的车辆」。</strong></p><p>也正是在那一年,马斯克在内部第一次提出 Robotaxi,并在全世界大力「鼓吹」自动驾驶即将到来,核心便是要开发特斯拉这家公司的「第二曲线」。这些年来,特斯拉市值在汽车行业领跑的重要原因,便是很多投资者不仅仅把它当成是一家硬件公司,而是一家科技公司,<strong>或者用老马自己的话说,是「一家人工智能公司」</strong>。</p><p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img 便可以在出行领域里占得先机,依靠更高的效率打败目前的出行平台,获得更大的利润空间,换句话说就是,<strong>共享出行这个新生事物,有可能被 AI 这个更新生的事物再次颠覆</strong>。</p><p>当然,除了自 2016 年开始的这个计划,从当下的外部竞争环境看,特斯拉显然还有更多把目标从硬件转移到 AI 上的理由。</p><p><strong>首先,它们要面临来自中国市场的全面竞争</strong>。去年第四季度,特斯拉被<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/002594\">比亚迪</a>反超,丢掉了纯电车型的销售冠军。马斯克也在业绩交流会的时候预测,2024 年特斯拉的增速将比 2023 年进一步放缓,话音刚落,2024 年第一季度它们便遭遇了疫情以来的首次销量下滑。</p><p>其次,对于特斯拉这样一家来自于硅谷的全球公司来说,它们更擅长的是定义产品,而非在供应链上进行各种快速调整。Model Y 是目前全球最畅销的单一车型(不止是电车),但它已经发布了 5 年,而且在今年将不会推出任何改款。而把 <strong>Model 3 当成竞争对手的小米 SU7,在正式交车之前,就对 Pro 车型中关于电动尾翼的实体按键进行了优化,这是硅谷公司难以达成的恐怖相应速度</strong>。</p><p>还有价格上的威胁。比亚迪最早依靠混动车型和优秀的燃油效率发家,如今进入纯电市场,也推出了 1 万美元级别的海鸥车型。这好像一下子就让 2.5 万美元的 Model 2 不香了。也难怪在收购推特后大谈自由的马斯克也开始不讲贸易自由了,提出必须对中国车企实行贸易壁垒,否则美国市场的玩家就没戏了。</p><p>最后一点,随着美国电动车市场增速放缓,<strong>皮卡车型 Cybertruck 也被马斯克自己认为「自掘坟墓」</strong>,影响了内部的出牌节奏,所以特斯拉不光要面临中国玩家的围剿,还将在本土面对来自国外其他传统玩家的竞争。</p><p><strong>03</strong></p><p><strong>Robotaxi,正确但是很难</strong></p><p>不过,无论外界竞争格局怎么变,特斯拉现在依然是全球最大的纯电汽车生产和销售厂商。然而,选择 Robotaxi,在这个阶段看起来依然是个有些疯狂的选择。</p><p>美国无人出租车市场的另一个巨头,通用旗下的 Cruise,在 2023 年下半年经历了过山车般的剧情。8 月,Cruise 在旧金山拿到了全面开放商业运营的资质——即不限时段、不限行驶区域且全无人的商业运营。但由于连续发生交通事故,以及「引发交通堵塞」从而间接导致死亡,Cruise 的运营牌照在 11 L2+智能辅助驾驶,以更好的获得资本市场的信任以及通过和车企合作为自身「回血」。</p><p>那么,如果特斯拉进军 Robotaxi 领域,现在究竟有哪些挑战,又有哪些优势?</p><p>首先是技术层面。特斯拉的 FSD 在 L2+自动驾驶领域里,是「遥遥领先」的存在。它采用了纯视觉+无图的方案,既节约了激光雷达的硬件成本,也节约了和高精地图相关的运营费用——国内玩家里,有做纯视觉的,也有做无图的,但还没有任何一家可以把两者结合。</p><p>此外,从 FSD V12 的 Beta 版本开始,特斯拉就大量删除了和规则相关的算法代码,使用基于神经网络的端到端方案。简单来说,就是尽量不通过穷举每一种可能的情况,让系统机械地「执行」某种操作,而是用类似人类思考的方式,让系统自己「学习和判断」下一步操作,提高了系统的泛化能力。</p><p>所以,基于 FSD 的能力,特斯拉在技术上的积累是有一定优势的。不过,L2 级别的辅助驾驶和 L4、L5 级别的无人驾驶还是有区别。<strong>国内一家专攻 L4 智驾公司的高管曾经告诉极客公园,L4 和 L2 就好比足球世界杯和篮球奥运会,虽然都是竞技运动,但确实两个不同的项目,并不能理解从简单的递进关系。</strong></p><p>还有成本问题。目前量产 Robotaxi 车型的主要解决方案,大多是在已有原型车的基础上,通过加装激光雷达等一系列硬件,成为一款改装车。据赛博汽车援引业内人士的说法,目前国内 Robotaxi 单车成本普遍在 50-60 万之间。</p><p>按上述 L4 智驾公司另一位高管的说法,<strong>Robotaxi 的短期内商业化目标,是要把改装车和原型车之间的差价降到大约 15 万元以内。</strong></p><p>当然,也有一些玩家和特斯拉一样,开始正向研究 Robotaxi 车型,而不是采取「魔改」的方法。Cruise 已经停产的原型车 Origin,大规模量产后的单车成本大约在 5 万美元;<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/BIDU\">百度</a>在 2022 年表示,第六代 Apollo RT6 的成本在 25 万元。</p><p>而关于 Robotaxi,目前已知信息除了它和传说中售价 2.5 万美元的 Model 2 属于同一平台外,还没有更详细的硬件信息。但基于这个 比 Model 3 更小的车型平台,以及特斯拉一贯的纯视觉方案,特斯拉 Robotaxi 的成本控制能力还是很值得期待的。</p><p>其他的考虑可能还包括来自从汽车销售进入出行行业,面对的其他问题。这其中既有技术,也有不少「人间逻辑」。例如法律规定,还有无人出租车行业对已有网约车市场、就业市场带来的冲击。</p><p>从大体来看,特斯拉应该会逐步避免在零售的正面战场和中国玩家们硬碰硬。基于 AI 能力的 Robotaxi 曝光日期|图片来源:X路透很快跟进了马斯克的回复,表示特斯拉正在将原本用在 Model 2 的精力,转向 Robotaxi。当 Waymo、Cruise 等美国无人驾驶出租车陷入政策和营收泥潭、中国无人驾驶公司都在降级成 L2 为车企打工的时候,为什么特斯拉要「砍掉」备受期待的 Model 2,转向目前仍看不到方向的 Robotaxi?马斯克,又在下一盘什么大棋?01先有 Robotaxi,后有 Model 2乍一看,这是一个有些奇怪的对比。因为 Model 2 和 Robotaxi 对应着两种截然不同的商业模式:前者代表着我们如今熟悉的这个特斯拉,依靠汽车零售,从 C 端消费者那里直接赚钱,在去年第四季度之前,特斯拉一直是全球销量最高的电动车品牌;而后者则对应着一个集出行、人工智能、共享经济等于一体的全新行业,放眼全球,目前还没有任何一家企业能够从 Robotaxi 项目上正向盈利。但如果外媒的报道并非毫无根据的捕风捉影,我们倒也可以从车辆研发的逻辑中,找到特斯拉在 2024 年 Q1 做出商业重心切换的理由。完全从零开始,正向研发一款全新的车型,需要长达数年的时间。但如果基于一个成熟的平台,那么开发时间将会大幅缩短,这也是为什么现代汽车工业强调平台的重要性。在去年上市的由艾萨克森撰写的《马斯克传》里,就提到了 Model 2 和 Robotaxi,其实都基于特斯拉正在研发的新一代平台。而且,某种程度上,是先有马斯克对于 Robotaxi 的执念,才有了对于 Model 2 的研发。从时间角度上,马斯克第一次提出要设计一款「没有方向盘和加速制动踏板」的汽车,发生在 2016 年;而特斯拉内部第一次提出要造出一台比 Model 3 更便宜的廉价汽车,则发生在 2020 年,而马斯克对这款廉价车型一直兴趣不大。事实上,当马斯克 2020 年在内部毙掉 Model 2 项目的时候,特斯拉首席设计师 Franz 就开始打着研发 Robotaxi 的旗号,暗中推进着 Model 2 的影子计划了。在《马斯克传》里,作者披露,马斯克真正批准 Model 2 项目,已经是 20222 年 9 月的事了。Franz「画饼」的方式,正是投其所好,表示 Model 2 和 Robotaxi 可以「一鱼两吃」,因为二者基于同一个架构开发,而且 Model 2 的销量可以达到 Model 3 和 Model Y 这类车型的两倍。特斯拉首席设计师 Franz 和早期的 Robotaxi 概念原型艾萨克森在书里写到,结束和 Franz 的会议后,马斯克第一时间和他进行了交流,但对 Model 2 他展露出的并不是期待,而是认为「这不是一个多令人兴奋的产品」。马斯克并没有在 X 平台上再透露关于 Robotaxi 的其他信息,我们也并不知道 8 月 8 号的「发布」将会有怎样的内容。不过,按照此前披露的 Model 2 时间线,这款同平台车型距离规模化生产大概率还有 1 年时间。02卖车哪有卖 AI 性感?尽管一直有一种戏谑的说法,说马斯克是在用从特斯拉赚来的钱,去填补他在 SpaceX 上追逐自己火星梦的亏损。但从马斯克对于特斯拉这家公司的经营思路来看,特斯拉显示不止是一家仅靠售卖硬件来赚钱养家的公司。这次回怼路透「说谎」的时候,马斯克还在 X 账号上贴出了他在 2016 年发布在特斯拉官网的「第二步整体规划」,其中提到:一开始生产小批量的汽车,是为了赚钱后实现规模化,打造更多人可以消费得起的电动汽车。但他在那篇 2016 年的文章里就提到:特斯拉可能「不太需要比 Model 3 更低成本的车辆」。也正是在那一年,马斯克在内部第一次提出 Robotaxi,并在全世界大力「鼓吹」自动驾驶即将到来,核心便是要开发特斯拉这家公司的「第二曲线」。这些年来,特斯拉市值在汽车行业领跑的重要原因,便是很多投资者不仅仅把它当成是一家硬件公司,而是一家科技公司,或者用老马自己的话说,是「一家人工智能公司」。除了汽车,AI 公司特斯拉也鼓捣人形机器人Robotaxi 的商业想象,不止于 C 端的硬件销售,也有 FSD 带来的软件订阅收入——硅谷的软件公司在前 AI 时代的利润率要远高于底特律、日本韩国的硬件公司。此外,如果自动驾驶技术取得突破,那么 Robotaxi 便可以在出行领域里占得先机,依靠更高的效率打败目前的出行平台,获得更大的利润空间,换句话说就是,共享出行这个新生事物,有可能被 AI 这个更新生的事物再次颠覆。当然,除了自 2016 年开始的这个计划,从当下的外部竞争环境看,特斯拉显然还有更多把目标从硬件转移到 AI 上的理由。首先,它们要面临来自中国市场的全面竞争。去年第四季度,特斯拉被比亚迪反超,丢掉了纯电车型的销售冠军。马斯克也在业绩交流会的时候预测,2024 年特斯拉的增速将比 2023 年进一步放缓,话音刚落,2024 年第一季度它们便遭遇了疫情以来的首次销量下滑。其次,对于特斯拉这样一家来自于硅谷的全球公司来说,它们更擅长的是定义产品,而非在供应链上进行各种快速调整。Model Y 是目前全球最畅销的单一车型(不止是电车),但它已经发布了 5 年,而且在今年将不会推出任何改款。而把 Model 3 当成竞争对手的小米 SU7,在正式交车之前,就对 Pro 车型中关于电动尾翼的实体按键进行了优化,这是硅谷公司难以达成的恐怖相应速度。还有价格上的威胁。比亚迪最早依靠混动车型和优秀的燃油效率发家,如今进入纯电市场,也推出了 1 万美元级别的海鸥车型。这好像一下子就让 2.5 万美元的 Model 2 不香了。也难怪在收购推特后大谈自由的马斯克也开始不讲贸易自由了,提出必须对中国车企实行贸易壁垒,否则美国市场的玩家就没戏了。最后一点,随着美国电动车市场增速放缓,皮卡车型 Cybertruck 也被马斯克自己认为「自掘坟墓」,影响了内部的出牌节奏,所以特斯拉不光要面临中国玩家的围剿,还将在本土面对来自国外其他传统玩家的竞争。03Robotaxi,正确但是很难不过,无论外界竞争格局怎么变,特斯拉现在依然是全球最大的纯电汽车生产和销售厂商。然而,选择 Robotaxi,在这个阶段看起来依然是个有些疯狂的选择。美国无人出租车市场的另一个巨头,通用旗下的 Cruise,在 2023 年下半年经历了过山车般的剧情。8 月,Cruise 在旧金山拿到了全面开放商业运营的资质——即不限时段、不限行驶区域且全无人的商业运营。但由于连续发生交通事故,以及「引发交通堵塞」从而间接导致死亡,Cruise 的运营牌照在 11 月被加州政府吊销,其原型车 Origin 停产,公司也被迫裁员。Cruise 无人出租原型车 Origin 概念图 | 图片来源 Cruise不止是 Robotaxi 领域,全球整个 L4 级别的自动驾驶公司,大多都在 2023 年将方向转向了更好量产的 L2 或 L2+智能辅助驾驶,以更好的获得资本市场的信任以及通过和车企合作为自身「回血」。那么,如果特斯拉进军 Robotaxi 领域,现在究竟有哪些挑战,又有哪些优势?首先是技术层面。特斯拉的 FSD 在 L2+自动驾驶领域里,是「遥遥领先」的存在。它采用了纯视觉+无图的方案,既节约了激光雷达的硬件成本,也节约了和高精地图相关的运营费用——国内玩家里,有做纯视觉的,也有做无图的,但还没有任何一家可以把两者结合。此外,从 FSD V12 的 Beta 版本开始,特斯拉就大量删除了和规则相关的算法代码,使用基于神经网络的端到端方案。简单来说,就是尽量不通过穷举每一种可能的情况,让系统机械地「执行」某种操作,而是用类似人类思考的方式,让系统自己「学习和判断」下一步操作,提高了系统的泛化能力。所以,基于 FSD 的能力,特斯拉在技术上的积累是有一定优势的。不过,L2 级别的辅助驾驶和 L4、L5 级别的无人驾驶还是有区别。国内一家专攻 L4 智驾公司的高管曾经告诉极客公园,L4 和 L2 就好比足球世界杯和篮球奥运会,虽然都是竞技运动,但确实两个不同的项目,并不能理解从简单的递进关系。还有成本问题。目前量产 Robotaxi 车型的主要解决方案,大多是在已有原型车的基础上,通过加装激光雷达等一系列硬件,成为一款改装车。据赛博汽车援引业内人士的说法,目前国内 Robotaxi 单车成本普遍在 50-60 万之间。按上述 L4 智驾公司另一位高管的说法,Robotaxi 的短期内商业化目标,是要把改装车和原型车之间的差价降到大约 15 万元以内。当然,也有一些玩家和特斯拉一样,开始正向研究 Robotaxi 车型,而不是采取「魔改」的方法。Cruise 已经停产的原型车 Origin,大规模量产后的单车成本大约在 5 万美元;百度在 2022 年表示,第六代 Apollo RT6 的成本在 25 万元。而关于 Robotaxi,目前已知信息除了它和传说中售价 2.5 万美元的 Model 2 属于同一平台外,还没有更详细的硬件信息。但基于这个 比 Model 3 更小的车型平台,以及特斯拉一贯的纯视觉方案,特斯拉 Robotaxi
