Ascendas Reit is Singapore’s first and largest listed business space and industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”) with a portfolio diversified across four major segments including business spaces, logistics and distribution centres, industrial properties and data centres. As one of Singapore’s REIT pioneers, Ascendas Reit has played a crucial role in the development of the Singapore REIT sector, providing an attractive platform for investment in business park and industrial properties in Singapore.

As of Sept 21, it has 210 properties with asset value of close to $15billion sgd

Overall balance sheet is healthy. Dividend yield around 3-4%, with good value appreciation historically. Of late, price is trending down. There were question of office space demand with many people working from home. Many claim that it is the new norm. I rather say it depends on what kind of job and role you are holding. Yes, it will have impact to office space demand, but at prime area, demand will return. The management team also continuously look out for opportunity outside Singapore and other non office space acquisition to add value for investors. As of Nov 21, Ascendas completed 11 logistic properties acquisition in Kansas City, USA. I am positive on the outlook.
