$SHENG SIONG GROUP LTD(OV8.SI)$ It is sad to see Sheng Siong's share price taking a beating lately.  However I believe it is still a great stock to hold long term. 

Here is why:

1.  Sheng Siong has solid fundamentals.  Its revenue has seen a steady climb over the past few years.  Therefore its net profit has also grown steadily too.

2. It pays dividends regularly

3.  It has low debt levels

4. It has a solid Balance Sheet with great Free Cash Flow

5.It has a great management team 

Sheng Siong is a very resilient business being the 3rd largest supermarket retailer in Singapore.  With its focus to provide cost savings and quality essential products to Singaporeans, Sheng Siong will be here to stay for a very long time.  

I believe in Sheng Siong and intend to hold it long term.

    Thanks for the analysis. But it’s still slightly overvalued, so will continue to drop. And future earning forecast will decline. I might buy when it drops further.

    SS has Solid fundamental Which i think that is an aDded point . Do Not need to worry too much .Their shaRes price will slowly catch up

      It is not as exciting as US or HK but there is no tax, no currency risk and dividends are great! I invest in US for growth, Singapore for dividends!

    They are expanding into china now with a few store. Just wait for them to expand further sure got big potential in the near future

    As I said before, it's difficult to expand its business within Singapore market alone. It would just be a privatised "NTUC Fair price".
