Frankly it is inconceivable to me that Apple will become a major ad platform. It should also be stressed that the $2B is what the author thinks Apple’s ad business will be worth, and it probably came from number AppStore downloads roughly equal to views and then a premium on those views.
I believe it’s all over for Intel as far as Apple isconcerned. It’ll just be like when Apple dropped the PowerPC, Apple never looked back and the PowerPC went into oblivion.
