However, Wall Street analysts are paid handsome salaries to crunch numbers to put forward their best estimates on how stocks will perform.

It's not a bad idea to check out the stocks for which analysts are the most bullish. That's especially the case when the underlying businesses of those companies are highly innovative. Here are three game-changing stocks that could soar between 61% and 99% in 2022, according to Wall Street.

1. Sea Limited

Wall Street analysts really love Sea Limited (NYSE:SE). The consensus 12-month price target for the stock reflects an upside potential of close to 99% above the current share price.

Sea's biggest shareholder doesn't appear to be as optimistic. The stock fell on Tuesday after Tencent Holdings sold 14.5 million shares of Sea Limited. However, Tencent could have other reasons to sell part of its stake that don't relate to Sea's prospects. And it still owns 18.8% of the company, so Tencent clearly isn't extremely bearish about Sea.

The facts seem to be on Wall Street's side in this case. Sea Limited continues to generate sizzling growth. Its monster hit game Free Fire ranked No. 2 in the third quarter, based on average monthly active users on Alphabet's Google Play, according to data from App Annie.

Sea's greatest growth prospects, though, could be in e-commerce and digital payments. The company's Shopee e-commerce platform was the top Google Play shopping app in Q3, based on time spent in the app. This success is also helping boost the SeaMoney mobile wallet.

2. Teladoc Health

Teladoc Health (NYSE:TDOC) performed abysmally in 2021, with its shares plunging more than 50%. But analysts think the healthcare stock could make a major comeback this year. The average price target for Teladoc is roughly 77% higher than its current share price.

Why does Wall Street still like Teladoc so much? The positive outlook reflects both near-term potential catalysts and significant long-term opportunities.

New contracts with large health insurers should boost Teladoc's revenue in 2022. One of those is an agreement to make the Primary360 virtual primary-care service available to Aetna's self-insured employers across the U.S.

Over the longer term, the virtual-care market could expand dramatically. Global consulting firm McKinsey & Company even estimates that up to $250 billion of U.S. healthcare spending could shift to virtual care. Even if that projection is overly optimistic, Teladoc should have a huge opportunity in the years to come.

3. MercadoLibre

MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI) stands out as another Wall Street favorite that underwhelmed in 2021. The e-commerce stock fell nearly 20%. However, analysts foresee a much better new year: The consensus price target for MercadoLibre is more than 61% above the current share price.

There are plenty of reasons to believe that the analysts are right about this stock. MercadoLibre's business continues to fire on all cylinders.

In particular, gross merchandise volume on its flagship e-commerce platform jumped 29.7% year over year in Q3 on a constant-currency basis to $7.3 billion. That's especially impressive considering the tough comparisons versus 2020 with a surge in online shopping due to the pandemic.

MercadoLibre should have plenty of room to grow even more. The Latin American e-commerce market-penetration rate is expected to double by 2025, according to Morgan Stanley. MercadoLibre also believes that it's "only the beginning" for its fast-growing fintech business.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
3 Game-Changing Stocks that Could Soar 61% to 99% in 2022, According to Wall Street
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n3 Game-Changing Stocks that Could Soar 61% to 99% in 2022, According to Wall Street\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-01-06 23:31 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
No one really knows how much a given stock will go up or down in the future. Even winning a fraction of that business would be an enormous boon for Nvidia.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":853,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":696418458,"gmtCreate":1640745917595,"gmtModify":1640745919084,"author":{"id":"3580445955391890","authorId":"3580445955391890","name":"RYukyo","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/390194fd6f59520ee0b7649e7fabb953","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580445955391890","authorIdStr":"3580445955391890"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good","listText":"Good","text":"Good","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/696418458","repostId":"1118875121","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1266,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":691232724,"gmtCreate":1640192847275,"gmtModify":1640192848719,"author":{"id":"3580445955391890","authorId":"3580445955391890","name":"RYukyo","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/390194fd6f59520ee0b7649e7fabb953","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580445955391890","authorIdStr":"3580445955391890"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Will resuscitate soon. Put $200,000 Into These 2 Stocks and Hold Until 2030","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2186432637","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These stocks could still provide amazing returns for the next decade, despite their already-impressive growth.","content":"
Over the past decade, shares of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEMKT:SPY) have jumped over 300%. This has been one of the best runs for the history of the S&P, but these two stocks could outperform this stellar performance.
\n
Both MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI) and Upstart (NASDAQ:UPST) have been amazing companies to own since they came public, but the growth runway for both companies is still huge. Each company could produce 5-fold returns if you put $100,000 in each company today and wait a decade. Here's why.
\n
MercadoLibre: The Latin American \"everything\" company
\n
MercadoLibre grew to become $65 billion in size because of its successful e-commerce operations, but the company has massively expanded its optionality and its revenue streams. Now the company makes money in its dominance in logistics and payment markets across 16 countries in Latin America.
\n
The company is seeing broad adoption from its newer services, and some of its new services are even growing faster than its primary segment -- its e-commerce business. Its logistics arm -- Mercado Envios -- shipped over 247 million items in Q3, and 86% of the company's e-commerce shipments were shipped with Envios. 37% of all fulfillment in MercadoLibre's areas of operation go through Envios, which flexes its broad adoption across the region.
\n
Mercado Pago -- its payments platform -- has 31.6 million unique active users and nearly $21 billion in total payment volume. This grew 44% from Q3 2020, and its payment transactions almost reached 700 million, growing 67% year over year.
\n
All of this is in addition to the company's core business: MercadoLibre. Its e-commerce segment brought in over $1.2 billion in revenue after the company grew its gross merchandise volume 24% year over year to $7.3 billion. The company also sold 260 million items during the quarter, which grew 26% from Q3 2020.
\n
MercadoLibre's market opportunity is large, and that is only amplified with its new business segments. The company has over 79 million users on its platform, but there are over 646 million citizens in its reach. Latin America is growing at one of the fastest rates in the world, so MercadoLibre's penetration is in its early days. Even this 79 million count doesn't factor in the fact that consumers might use its e-commerce platform but not Mercado Pago, meaning MercadoLibre has room to grow its relationships with its existing customers and its customer base.
\n
The company does face competition in some parts of its business, like its e-commerce segment where it faces Sea Limited in several markets. However, MercadoLibre is not fully reliant on its e-commerce brand and Sea Limited is only getting started in Latin American markets outside of Brazil, so it is not a huge threat to the whole business. The company's fast-growing business segments show that the company has the capabilities to succeed but has yet to fully grow. This allows for investors like you and me to get in today and reap the mass benefits of the company's potential success over the next decade.
\n
Upstart: Rapid adoption and success
\n
While Upstart is not the established business that MercadoLibre is, the company still has amazing potential to 5 times from today's prices. For decades, we have used the FICO score -- a metric created by Fair Isaac Corp. -- to determine creditworthiness despite its flaws. For example, consumers who do not use credit or have made one minor error in their past could have their credit score wrecked and would be denied good credit. Upstart realizes that the FICO score is not a fully accurate representation of creditworthiness, so the company is using artificial intelligence (AI) to create a new way to do this.
\n
The company's determination does come from factors like employment, income-to-debt ratio, and other traditional metrics, but these are in addition to thousands of other non-traditional factors like education or loan application interaction. This innovative way of rethinking credit has resulted in rapid adoption from many banks and credit unions. The company has tripled its customer count from 10 one year ago to 31 in Q3.
\n
Despite being a $16 billion company, it is growing revenue at staggering rates of 250% year over year, reaching $228 million in Q3. What is even better is that the company is profitable. Upstart earned a net income of $29 million, which grew 200% year over year.
\n
Upstart is seeing success in disrupting a major financial cornerstone, so it is understandable that the company will be valued highly. Upstart currently trades at 28 times sales and 238 times earnings. While these are high, Upstart shares have fallen nearly 50% off their all-time high, so this is a nice discount to the 60 times sales and 600 times earnings shares were trading at in late September.
\n
The FICO score is inaccurate and inefficient for many Americans, and Upstart is trying to make getting a loan easier for those people. This has been one of the best runs for the history of the S&P, but these two stocks could outperform this stellar performance.\nBoth MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI) and Upstart (NASDAQ:UPST) have been amazing companies to own since they came public, but the growth runway for both companies is still huge. Each company could produce 5-fold returns if you put $100,000 in each company today and wait a decade. Here's why.\nMercadoLibre: The Latin American \"everything\" company\nMercadoLibre grew to become $65 billion in size because of its successful e-commerce operations, but the company has massively expanded its optionality and its revenue streams. Now the company makes money in its dominance in logistics and payment markets across 16 countries in Latin America.\nThe company is seeing broad adoption from its newer services, and some of its new services are even growing faster than its primary segment -- its e-commerce business. Its logistics arm -- Mercado Envios -- shipped over 247 million items in Q3, and 86% of the company's e-commerce shipments were shipped with Envios. 37% of all fulfillment in MercadoLibre's areas of operation go through Envios, which flexes its broad adoption across the region.\nMercado Pago -- its payments platform -- has 31.6 million unique active users and nearly $21 billion in total payment volume. This grew 44% from Q3 2020, and its payment transactions almost reached 700 million, growing 67% year over year.\nAll of this is in addition to the company's core business: MercadoLibre. Its e-commerce segment brought in over $1.2 billion in revenue after the company grew its gross merchandise volume 24% year over year to $7.3 billion. The company also sold 260 million items during the quarter, which grew 26% from Q3 2020.\nMercadoLibre's market opportunity is large, and that is only amplified with its new business segments. The company has over 79 million users on its platform, but there are over 646 million citizens in its reach. Latin America is growing at one of the fastest rates in the world, so MercadoLibre's penetration is in its early days. Even this 79 million count doesn't factor in the fact that consumers might use its e-commerce platform but not Mercado Pago, meaning MercadoLibre has room to grow its relationships with its existing customers and its customer base.\nThe company does face competition in some parts of its business, like its e-commerce segment where it faces Sea Limited in several markets. This allows for investors like you and me to get in today and reap the mass benefits of the company's potential success over the next decade.\nUpstart: Rapid adoption and success\nWhile Upstart is not the established business that MercadoLibre is, the company still has amazing potential to 5 times from today's prices. For decades, we have used the FICO score -- a metric created by Fair Isaac Corp. -- to determine creditworthiness despite its flaws. For example, consumers who do not use credit or have made one minor error in their past could have their credit score wrecked and would be denied good credit. Upstart realizes that the FICO score is not a fully accurate representation of creditworthiness, so the company is using artificial intelligence (AI) to create a new way to do this.\nThe company's determination does come from factors like employment, income-to-debt ratio, and other traditional metrics, but these are in addition to thousands of other non-traditional factors like education or loan application interaction. This innovative way of rethinking credit has resulted in rapid adoption from many banks and credit unions. The company has tripled its customer count from 10 one year ago to 31 in Q3.\nDespite being a $16 billion company, it is growing revenue at staggering rates of 250% year over year, reaching $228 million in Q3. What is even better is that the company is profitable. Upstart earned a net income of $29 million, which grew 200% year over year.\nUpstart is seeing success in disrupting a major financial cornerstone, so it is understandable that the company will be valued highly. Upstart currently trades at 28 times sales and 238 times earnings. While these are high, Upstart shares have fallen nearly 50% off their all-time high, so this is a nice discount to the 60 times sales and 600 times earnings shares were trading at in late September.\nThe FICO score is inaccurate and inefficient for many Americans, and Upstart is trying to make getting a loan easier for those people. The company has begun to see widespread success, but with an addressable market of over $5 trillion, the company is very early on its journey. If Upstart can continue refining its AI system to maintain its accuracy while obtaining more customers across the country, the company could continue to explode over the next decade, providing stock returns of 400% or more.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":516,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":699873214,"gmtCreate":1639786349669,"gmtModify":1639786351160,"author":{"id":"3580445955391890","authorId":"3580445955391890","name":"RYukyo","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/390194fd6f59520ee0b7649e7fabb953","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580445955391890","authorIdStr":"3580445955391890"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Lucid Group Inc(LCID)$Green days for LCID starting next Monday after inclusion to Nasdaq 100. Day is quickly approaching and there’s a lot for investors to be excited about.\nLet’s dive into all the latest news that traders of NIO stock need to know about today.\n\nFirst off, it looks like Nio Day will see the company revealing several new electric vehicles (EVs).\nThat includes a possible two new vehicle models, as well as a new vehicle brand.\nCurrent rumors claim one of the new vehicles in the ET5.\nThis is a mid-size sedan that will likely compete with other EVs on the market at a lower price than the ET7.\nTalk about the ET5 continues to heat up today after the EV company shared an image on its website.\nThis shows the outline of a still-unnamed vehicle from the company and many believe it to be the ET5.\nThere’s also talk of a potential ET(, which would be a sports coupe.\n\n\nOther rumors claim we might see the company reveal a multipurpose EV as well during the event.\nOf course, investors will have to wait until Nio Day before they can truly know what the next EVs from the company are.\nLuckily, that’s not too far away.\nNio will hold its special event on December 18, which is this Saturday.\nThe reveal event will take place at the Olympic Sports Center in Suzhou, China.\nNow we just have to wait for Nio Day to get here and confirm or bust all these rumors!","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":516,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":607689800,"gmtCreate":1639532777709,"gmtModify":1639532828109,"author":{"id":"3580445955391890","authorId":"3580445955391890","name":"RYukyo","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/390194fd6f59520ee0b7649e7fabb953","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580445955391890","authorIdStr":"3580445955391890"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"<a Facebook (FB) stands to make even more money than Snap. Analysts expect a net profit of nearly $7 billion, which amounts to $2.61 a share, when Facebook reports results after the closing bell Wednesday.
\n
Including sales of its virtual reality hardware, and other devices—which are expected contribute to the estimated $452 million to the “Other” revenue segment—Facebook revenue is expected to rise roughly 33% to $23.71 billion. Its Mac and iPad sales did better, with its computers up 70.1% and iPad sales growing nearly 79% on an annual basis.

Apple said it would increase its dividend by 7% to $0.22 per share and authorized $90 billion in share buybacks, which is significantly higher than last year’s $50 billion outlay and 2019′s $75 billion.

Here’s how Apple did versus Refinitiv estimates:

EPS: $1.40 vs. $0.99 estimated

Revenue: $89.58 billion vs. $77.36 billion estimated, up 53.7% year-over-year

iPhone revenue: $47.94 billion vs. $41.43 billion estimated, up 65.5% year-over-year

Services revenue: $16.90 billion vs. $15.57 billion estimated, up 26.7% year over year

Other Products revenue: $7.83 billion vs. $7.79 billion estimated, up 24% year-over-year

Mac revenue: $9.10 billion vs. $6.86 billion estimated, up 70.1% year-over-year

iPad revenue: $7.80 billion vs. $5.58 billion estimated, up 78.9% year-over-year

Gross margin: 42.5% vs. 39.8% estimated

Apple did not issue official guidance for what it expects in the quarter ending in June. It hasn’t provided revenue guidance since the start of the pandemic, citing uncertainty. This is Apple’s second quarter in a row with double-digit growth in all product categories. Apple CFO Luca Maestri told analysts that the company expects June quarter revenue to rise by double digits year-over-year, although it faces some supply shortages due to the worldwide chip shortage.

Apple has said in the past months that its business has been boosted by the pandemic as consumers and businesses bought computers to work and entertain themselves while at home. But Apple’s strong results in the quarter suggest that the trend may persist as more economies open up.

Or, as Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement: “This quarter reflects both the enduring ways our products have helped our users meet this moment in their own lives, as well as the optimism consumers seem to feel about better days ahead for all of us.”

Mac sales were up 70%, and Cook said that the result was “fueled by” the company’s introduction of its Mac laptops that used its own M1 chips for longer battery life, instead of processors sold by Intel. iPad sales were up nearly 79% year-over-year.

Neither of those results include iPad Pro or iMac models the company announced in March, which are expected to drive additional demand.

“We’re seeing strong first-time buyers on the Mac … it continues to run just south of 50%,” Cook told CNBC’s Josh Lipton. “And, in China, it’s even higher than that … it’s more around two-thirds. And that speaks to people preferring to work on the Mac.”

Apple’s iPhone also reported strong results this quarter, quelling fears that the current annual cycle could slow down. Last year, Apple released iPhones with a new exterior design and 5G support, which many investors believed could prompt a major upgrade cycle, which this quarter’s results indicate.

In greater China, which includes the mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, Apple’s revenue increased over 87% year-over-year to $17.73 billion, although the comparison is to a quarter last year in which China was largely shut down in the early days of the pandemic. Every other geographical category, including the Americas and Europe, were also up on an annual basis.

Apple’s high-margin services business, including iCloud, App Store, and subscriptions like Apple Music, also showed 26.7% growth.

One metric that Apple uses to show the growth in services is the number of subscriptions it has, which not only include its own subscriptions like Apple One, but also subscriptions through its App Store.

“We now have over 660 million paid subscriptions across the services on the platform, and that’s up 40 million from the previous quarter, which is an acceleration from 35 million,” Cook told CNBC.

However, Apple’s App Store has been challenged by lawmakers and companies that say it costs too much and has too much power. A closely-watched trial with Fortnite maker Epic Games over App Store policies kicks off next week.

“The App Store has been an economic miracle. Last year, the estimates are that there was over a half a trillion dollars of economic activity because of the store.
