Market trends and industry news:
1. Are We out of the Woods yet? Not Really.
Tiger: @TraderNeo
As this tough stance towards zero-Covid remains, we can expect rising inflation as a result of global supply chain problems, to persist for a much longer time. Keep your eyes peeled on companies with strong balance sheets and are able to withstand a protracted elevated inflation environment, and companies that can navigate through the tough global supply chain environment.
2. How Should We Invest During Market Corrections or Crashes?
Tiger: @KYHBKO
If we are holding on to stocks from companies with good fundamentals, holding on to them during corrections or crashes is vital. We should not sell in panic. If we have excess funds, market corrections and crashes are good opportunities for us to add to them. Let us be patient to add to the positions - do not be in a hurry to add to the positions. Mr Warren Buffett said that it is wise for "investors to be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearfulโ.
3. Should you Really be Investing in the Stock Market Right Now?
Tiger: @WYCKOFFPRO
Yet, there was no follow through and commitment to the downside. Just after a test of the axis line (where the resistance-turned-support), S&P 500 absorbed the supply on Thursday and once again close at all time high on Friday.
4. Tapering has Started. What it Means for the Stock Market?
Tiger: @Eldenminaj
Now, what does this mean for the $S&P 500(.SPX)$ market overall?
1. The market will no longer have big gains and movements, and the market will slowly make a correction as there is no more market manipulation by the Feds.
2. The stock will go back to its intrinsic value based on its fundamentals.
3. Value-play will emerge. And value stock will do very well in this period of time.
Tigerpedia:
5. Demystifying Options Part 2
Tiger: @Wayneqq
There are 2 IMPORTANT rules when SELLING PUT Options. Violating ANY of the 2 rules means you have a very high chance of losing money...
6. How To Pick An Investing Tool(Part 3/3)
Tiger: @ๅฅๅฅqiqi
Dividend stocks are stocks that can come in all forms of industry and companies. REITs shares similar characteristics as dividend stocks. I covered this in my part 2 of this Investing Tools Matrix. One big characteristic of these is as a shareholder, you will be rewarded with dividends either every quarter/semi annual/ annually.
Stock opportunities:
7. Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund would be a perfect choice
Tiger: @koolgal
Technology Sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in the US and investing in $Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLK)$ is a great way to get a piece of the action at a low cost and diversified way!
8. EBay a Stock to Keep for Value, or a Sinking Stock to Ditch?
Tiger: @IcySilver
The marriage-then-divorce with PayPal also posed some challenges. Before acquiring PayPal, eBay used a payment system by Billpoint. But with PayPal spun off, eBay decided to build internal payment system with help from Adyen (listed in Amsterdam) and had moved sellers over to the new system. Not an easy technical challenge, given that payment is crucial in the eBay platform. The internal payment system is expected to make payment more convenient for buyers, and eBay stands to get a small fee from sellers to use. PayPal may stand to lose business from eBay too. Sounds like a bad divorce?
9. Stocks to Keep a Lookout for 11/01/2021 - 11/05/2021
Tiger: @MMiracle
โ 1. $Bakkt Holdings, Inc.(BKKT)$ - Short interest increased, which caused it to spike after mid-day last Friday. Might have a pre-anticipatory run this week. It is a good buy within low 20s range.โ
2. $DraftKings Inc.(DKNG)$ - Friday earnings report (usually earnings report make stock go up), this is basically a stock which allows for sports betting. There has been a lot of collaborations and partnerships which means they might have a better earnings report. However, this stock only operates in a few states. The price now is a good buy within low 40s.
10. Bionano Genomics Will See a Big Gap up Soon Like Previous Trend
Tiger: @vic78
Back when it was under a dollar and now. When it was under a $1 it ran up over and came back down to consolidate before it ran to $15. If you overlay these charts they are pretty identical. It ran up past $9 and came back down to $5 -$6 to consolidate.
