Inst Buy & Sell at SGX

I wrote this article at InvestingNote side but could not copy and paste it here. 

So just for you, I retype this here. Butit would be nice if @Tiger Stars allows the copy and paste capability. It’s my own writing.

The numbers are tabled below. Inst buy & sell for the week of 1 Nov 2021.

My observations,

- Big boys bought BIG on $UNITED OVERSEAS BANK LIMITED(U11.SI)$and sold big on $SINGAPORE EXCHANGE LIMITED(S68.SI)$$YANGZIJIANG SHIPBLDG HLDGS LTD(BS6.SI)$$KEPPEL CORPORATION LIMITED(BN4.SI)$etc. Basically exchanged handswith retail investors.

- Other interesting exchanges of hands: $AEM HOLDINGS LTD(AWX.SI)$$C52.SI, oops I can only list up to 5. BBs bought and RIs sold. RIs, why hah? Aren’t they coming out the woods?

- BBs sold Venture...must be some shortsighted ones. I see results steady and good CEO succession being carried out.

- BBs bought ThaiBev...While RIs supported Japfa and iFast. Excellent!

Just what I read from the data.

    可能是因为人们的认知水平和投资偏好不同，一个公司的股价在不同的市场上会有所不同。因此，套利可以通过这种方式在不同的市场实现。

    This is really an interesting phenomenon. Buy shares of a company in one market and sell shares of the same company in another market. I also want to know why? Wait for more replies.

      I am not sure I understand your comments. This set of data is provided bu SGX every Monday. It’s top 10 stocks that institutional investors buy or sell vs the same by retail investors.

    $AEM HOLDINGS LTD(AWX.SI)$ ...yes, I asked the question just a couple of days ago: why you retail investors are selling AEM as it is just coming out of the woods?!

      Okay...still an opportunity if you hold for long. The company has raised revenue guidance for Q4, outlook sounds exciting as well.
