Happy Thursday!😊😊😊 How many of you are fans of Chinese stocks? Do you know $RLX Technology(RLX)$?

There is news, "RLX Technology announces $500 million share buyback plan." Investors cheered the news, sending the stock up 20% on the latest trading day. 

RLX Technology Inc. is an e-vapor company in China with a lot of official retail stores. The founder and CEO of RLX, Kate Wang, is listed on #561 in Forbes.

RLX said in a press release this morning that its board of directors had authorized a share repurchase of up to $500 million by the end of 2023. It seems a piece of good news, but RLX needs two more years to repurchase its shares. Too slow...🐢🐢🐢

No matter it’s the tobacco or cannabis market, the annual tax revenue is amazing. So, will e-cigarettes be included in the taxation standards of the tobacco industry?

    没有在这方面对国家有贡献。本身也不喜欢吸烟。但是，看到身边的人抽烟且总把“宁可不吃饭 也不能不抽烟”挂在嘴边，我知道电子烟以及香烟在市场上依然存在着举足轻重的地位。相对于香烟，电子烟对于身体的负面影响或许相对来的大，因为电子化以及化学化香烟或许使烟民对于电子烟的烟瘾来的大，自然而然伤害也越大，这不是短时间内的，而是长时间累积下对身体造成无法负担的不健康影响的。

    i dont smoke but i know that governments are earning loads from tobacco tax, thats why they continue selling this vice. e cigs claims to be healthier but it seems like a lesser of 2 evils. 🚭

    Smoking is hazardous to health & can cause cancer & other diseases. E-cigarettes or cigarettes are addictive!If taxes on these items are high, it will discourage smoking. Be healthy, do not smoke! 🙏

    I don't smoke.
    Whether it's cigarette or e-cigarette..both harmful to the body.
    Some people are too used to it despite ugly photos on cigarette packs. They should have similar warnings for e-cigarette

    Well i used to smoke lots of cigarettes and also cannabis long time ago now i only smoke relx whenever i can. E-cigarette is not health hazard so not same category as cigarette’s taxation category

    I have not contributed to tobacco tax before since i dont smoke.


    Apparently, e-cigs are healthier?? Honestly, I am not sure if it is healthier per say, since it seems to be way more addictive.

    E-cig has less of cancer causing chemicals unlilr cig. Just as addictive. The science is not available for e-cig long term use yet.

    Personally dont smoke so not incurring any tobacco tax. doesnt matter which cigarettes, both is just bad for health and should be reduced. Stay healthy everyone

    Smoking vs vaping. Burning vs heating. I guess biggest difference is you cant smoke in zero oxygen environment but vaping can 😂

    E-cig is still considered a vice in sg and governed under the tobacco act. While less harmful than smoking, vapourisers contain harmful cmpd like benzene etc. And thus likely to be highly taxed

    Non smoker. E-cigarettes might even be more harmful than normal cigarettes due to other ingredients present in the cigarettes.
