What can MARA do with $650M? Let's see. MARA last purchased 30,000 miners in Aug 2021 for $120.7M which means they paid $4,023 per miner.
With 650M they can buy 161,570 miners that would add an additional 16 EH/s mining capacity to their current 13.3 EH/s hashrate once all miners are installed. Altogether they would have around 29-30 Eh/s hashrate this way.
Or they could spend $500M on new rigs and leave $150M for operations and get 124,285 new rigs and would be around 25-26 EH/s after installing them all on the next 24 months.
The news of any of these purchases would send shockwaves in the mining industry and would declare MARA as the clear winner of the space.
