Decliners outnumbered gainers 290 to 132, after 878.9 million securities worth S$704.2 million changed hands.\nGenting Singapore was among the most heavily traded counters by volume, slipping 3 per cent or S$0.025 to S$0.805, with 28.4 million shares changing hands. The operator of Resorts World Sentosa joined other travel and aviation-related stocks in a sea of red.\nNational carrier Singapore Airlines fell 2.3 per cent or S$0.12 to S$5.13, SATS was down 1.2 per cent or S$0.05 at S$4.02, while SIA Engineering dropped 1.7 per cent or S$0.04 to S$2.31.\nHospitality-related stapled groups also lost some ground in afternoon trading. CDL Hospitality Trusts was down 0.8 per cent or S$0.01 at S$1.19, while Frasers Hospitality Trust lost 1 per cent or S$0.005 to S$0.485.\nBanking stocks continued to falter after opening weaker in the morning.
