I think that Amazon needs more $(Visa)$ services than on the contrary, therefore this threat is possibly a way to lower commissions but not to cut visa, so this is a buying opportunity.
I don't see people canceling their VISA credit cards just because Amazon doesn't accept them, but I do see people shopping elsewhere because Amazon doesn't accept their VISA cards.
