$AMC Entertainment(AMC)$If you have a margin account, brokers can lend out your shares.  It's important to make sure you turn off the "share lend" feature, especially now that shares for Shorts to borrow are drying up.  If you have a cash accr, you should still confirm to your broker that you don't want your shares lent out.

    Black Rock etc have been lending out There shares for a fee, which is how they make $ on these.   It's highest it's been, according to Ortex data; Including the highest number of shares "on loan".
