The stock connectclosurewill slam the brakes on record levels of inflows that helped propel Hong Kong’s equities market to its best start to a year since1985.</p>\n<p>Investors north of the border turned bargain hunters in late 2020 after valuations in somesectorsonshore reached the highest in more than a decade. Zhuang said he’s considering moving all of his fund’s assets into Hong Kong at some point later this year, compared with his current 70% exposure.</p>\n<p>While the shutting of the links for the Lunar New Year is an annual occurrence, traders are taking a closer look given this year’s unprecedented inflows.
