Tesla's (TSLA) Shanghai plant manager, Song Gang, has left the company, news outlets reported Wednesday, citing a letter sent to staff.
Gang, who became manager of Tesla's largest factory by output in 2018, told Tesla employees that Wednesday would be his last day, Reuters reported.
Fei Wenjin, recently promoted to senior director from director of quality, will take on Gang's duties, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Tesla did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
