1759 ET - Peloton needs to address the tricky balance of growth and profitability, UBS analysts say in a research note. For a new CEO, figuring out this tricky balance remains a key task, the analysts say following the appointment of Peter Stern as the new head of Peloton. Stern doesn't have experience on the top job of a publicly traded company, but he is a hardware/software industry insider with experience at Ford, Apple and Time Warner Cable, where he served as chief product, people and strategy officer. "As media spend goes up into seasonally more important second-quarter, investors might get a clearer picture of underlying demand and whether we have in fact passed the trough of revenue declines," the analysts say. Shares fall 1.6% to $8.37 in post-market trading. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
