gold is the traditional hedge against inflation. given the availability of crypto currencies, the demand may have dipped to some degree.with current interest rates at near zero, the movement of gold price may be ranging at the $1800+/- zone. let's monitor closely.

  what I meant was that some are replacing gold with crypto as hedge. to me, gold has been proven but not crypto.
