The shares would rise to 317.7 million if the underwriters exercise the over allotment option. Nu Holdings reported revenues of $737.1 million in 2020 and $612.1 million in 2019. While its growth stalled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's back on the growth track again.
\n

\n
In the first nine months of 2021, Nu Holdings' revenues almost doubled YoY to $1.06 billion. However, like most other fintech companies, Nu Holdings is also posting losses and in 2020 its net losses were $193.2 million. In the first nine months of 2021, Nu Holdings has posted a net loss of $81.7 million, which is slightly higher than in the corresponding period last year.
\n

\n
Looking at the IPO price range, we get a 2020 price-to-sales multiple of just above 56x. The valuations seem stretched at these price levels.
\n

\n
Nu Holdings was valued at $30 billion after the June 2021 funding round, which was led by Berkshire Hathaway. In the IPO, Nu Holdings is seeking a valuation 38 percent higher than its most recent private market valuation. Looking at the recent weakness in U.S. stock markets and the expected rate hikes, Nu Holdings' IPO looks somewhat overpriced at these prices.
","source":"lsy1625047681125","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Nu Holdings IPO Forecast: Will Buffett Be Lucky This Time With Nubank?
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nNu Holdings IPO Forecast: Will Buffett Be Lucky This Time With Nubank?\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-12-06 10:52 GMT+8 market realist\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Brazilian fintech company Nu Holdings, which is the parent company for Nubank, has lowered the IPO price. LUMPUR, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Malaysian glove maker Top Glove Corp has slashed the amount it aims to raise from its planned Hong Kong listing to HKD3.68 billion ($473 million), less than a quarter of its initial target, it said in a resubmitted listing application.\nA stock exchange filing showed on Thursday that China International Capital Corporation Hong Kong Securities Limited has resubmitted the application to HKEX on behalf of the world’s largest glove producer.\n“After taking into account the prevailing share price of the Company and the funding requirements of the Group, the Board has resolved to revise the proceeds to be raised from the Proposed Issuance of New Shares,” it said, adding that there was no change to the offering size.\nThe company could raise about HKD4.24 billion if the over-allotment option is fully exercised, it said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1499,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":873901254,"gmtCreate":1636816251393,"gmtModify":1636816251475,"author":{"id":"4095515414548690","authorId":"4095515414548690","name":"munmunmia","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a11cb33621caef472d7766143198dd0a","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4095515414548690","authorIdStr":"4095515414548690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"K","listText":"K","text":"K","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/873901254","repostId":"2182609761","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2182609761","kind":"highlight","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow It will also no doubt highlight a few run-for-hills scenarios like what we saw after a few October big tech earnings releases that fell short of expectations. But let's focus on the positives this month.
\n
Two markets should be on the radar of every investor. And the news about innovation, revenue outlooks, and adopting an attitude that the \"future is now\" all offer the potential to produce millionaires out of even the most average investors if they are willing to take a long-term approach.
\n
With all that in mind, here are three predictions about November markets.
\n
1. The market opportunity in EVs and self-driving technology will climb higher
\n
It's easy to see the long-term growth potential in the automotive market as it relates to electric vehicles (EVs). Automakers like Tesla are an obvious example. But also Chargepoint Holdings, which is building out the largest EV charging network in the world, and my favorite turnaround play, BlackBerry, with its increasingly popular QNX operating system for EVs. As earnings results come out this month and an initial public offering from electric truck maker Rivian launches next week, the EV hype is likely to heat up further in November.
\n
Supply chain constraints have raised concerns throughout the automotive market this year because, without the necessary raw materials and parts, particularly semiconductors, unfinished vehicles are left sitting waiting for components. In May it was expected that we would see a shortfall of 3.9 million vehicles produced this year. That number was revised upward in September to 7.7 million, and it's expected to cost automakers an estimated $210 billion this year.
\n
But delays present opportunities. Eventually, the supply chain will correct itself, though it may take until early 2023. In these uncertain times, companies that best manage costs, optimize the resources available, and stay on the planned path toward growth will reward investors.
\n
Take Ford (NYSE:F), for example. The company posted third-quarter results on Oct. 27, beating consensus estimates by 9.8% and 89% on quarterly revenue and earnings, respectively. It also raised its full-year revenue guidance by 15%, and topped off its report with news of a reinstated quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share to take effect on Dec. 1.
\n
During the earnings call, Ford management stated that although supply constraints continue, the third quarter was better than the previous quarter in terms of resource availability. This points toward growth even in the face of supply headwinds, powered by an ongoing revolution in the EV market. Analysts project the EV market to progress at a compound annual growth rate of 24.3% through 2028.
\n
2. The metaverse will see big gains virtually and market-wise
\n
Running parallel with the growth in the material world of electric and autonomous vehicles is the digital world of virtual and augmented reality known as the metaverse. The companies driving the future of the metaverse can be found in the holdings of the Roundhill Ball Metaverse ETF (NYSEMKT:META).
\n
Our kids may be more familiar with the metaverse than we are. It's evidenced in numerous video console games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, and Flight Sim, where players create virtual worlds, interacting with each other in these metaverse creations.
\n
Microsoft announced earlier this week that it intends to expand on its Microsoft Teams package by developing metaverse technology for collaboration using 3D avatars that represent meeting attendees who are present but would rather not be on camera. Eventually this will either coincide or compete with developments by Meta Platforms (formerly known as Facebook) as it rebrands and expands its offerings along the same lines.
\n
For long-term investors, these trends create an almost no-lose scenario. As advancements in technology take us into the future, demand will swell and revenue will be generated. And it will most likely be multiple companies reaping the benefits.
\n
Investors looking to benefit from it all may be well served by the Roundhill Ball Metaverse ETF. It was launched on June 30, and it is quickly gaining trading volume. As of August, the ETF had $50 million in assets under management (AUM). By September, AUM doubled to $100 million. Today, the number sits at $176 million, while trading volume in the ETF has also risen. The average daily volume is at 300,000, while more recently it has seen daily volume exceeding 1 million shares on select days.
\n
Its top 10 holdings are an impressive list: Nvidia, Microsoft, Roblox, Meta Platforms, Unity Software, Immersion Corp., Autodesk, Sea Limited, Amazon, and Tencent Holdings.
\n
I wouldn't be surprised to see the average 20-day daily volume double by the end of this month, combined with a 10% gain in the ETF share price for November.
\n
3. Apple is still fresh and its stock will top 52-week highs
\n
The intelligent EV market and the metaverse intersect in what has become a staple company and foundational portfolio stock: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). According to multiple sources, Apple is developing eyeglasses for the metaverse, while also working on self-driving technology and electric mobility to serve the vehicular market while potentially developing a self-driving car of its own.
\n
The future of our technology world is upon us, and November could be a pivotal entry point for investors into many of these stocks that will provide big gains for years to come.
\n
When Apple came out with a miss on quarterly revenue at the end of October, management noted that supply constraints impacted the company at a cost of $6 billion. But one thing that seems to keep getting overlooked during these earnings conference calls is that Apple's revenue continues to climb year over year regardless of whether the consensus estimates are accurate or overblown.
\n
The company continues to benefit greatly from iPhone sales, but unit sales no longer make up even half of its total revenue. Per Statista, from 2012 to now, Apple has seen iPhone sales decline from 51% of total revenue to 49%. Meanwhile, services revenue has grown from 6.5% to 21%. The gross margin on services is now 60%, whereas iPhone profit margin is closer to 35%. So as the company generates more services offerings, and innovative technology progresses, the dust will settle from concerns over supply constraints and a revenue miss, and a clearer picture will emerge.
\n
My November prediction is that Apple stock will top its 52-week high of $157.26 a share.
\n
Seeing the forest through the trees
\n
October was a month of volatility and concern over supply constraints and earnings warnings. But when those warnings lead to nervous selling based on short-term what-ifs and fear of the unknown, the long-term investor is provided with an opportunity. And if history repeats itself, this November will provide the springboard to that opportunity. The S&P 500 average return is 1.57% in the month of November, with 29 of the past 40 Novembers being in positive territory, led by 2020 at 11.8% -- the best November in history.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
3 Biggest Stock Market Predictions for November
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n3 Biggest Stock Market Predictions for November\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-11-07 09:00 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
November could offer an excellent entry point for many investors who may have been waiting for confidence-boosting earnings releases. Apple is still fresh and its stock will top 52-week highs\nThe intelligent EV market and the metaverse intersect in what has become a staple company and foundational portfolio stock: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL). According to multiple sources, Apple is developing eyeglasses for the metaverse, while also working on self-driving technology and electric mobility to serve the vehicular market while potentially developing a self-driving car of its own.\nThe future of our technology world is upon us, and November could be a pivotal entry point for investors into many of these stocks that will provide big gains for years to come.\nWhen Apple came out with a miss on quarterly revenue at the end of October, management noted that supply constraints impacted the company at a cost of $6 billion. But one thing that seems to keep getting overlooked during these earnings conference calls is that Apple's revenue continues to climb year over year regardless of whether the consensus estimates are accurate or overblown.\nThe company continues to benefit greatly from iPhone sales, but unit sales no longer make up even half of its total revenue. So as the company generates more services offerings, and innovative technology progresses, the dust will settle from concerns over supply constraints and a revenue miss, and a clearer picture will emerge.\nMy November prediction is that Apple stock will top its 52-week high of $157.26 a share.\nSeeing the forest through the trees\nOctober was a month of volatility and concern over supply constraints and earnings warnings. But when those warnings lead to nervous selling based on short-term what-ifs and fear of the unknown, the long-term investor is provided with an opportunity. And if history repeats itself, this November will provide the springboard to that opportunity. The S&P 500 average return is 1.57% in the month of November, with 29 of the past 40 Novembers being in positive territory, led by 2020 at 11.8% -- the best November in history.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":748,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":842434223,"gmtCreate":1636214346909,"gmtModify":1636214346994,"author":{"id":"4095515414548690","authorId":"4095515414548690","name":"munmunmia","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a11cb33621caef472d7766143198dd0a","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4095515414548690","authorIdStr":"4095515414548690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Yes","listText":"Yes","text":"Yes","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/842434223","repostId":"1164119351","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":231,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":848446945,"gmtCreate":1636023783785,"gmtModify":1636023783872,"author":{"id":"4095515414548690","authorId":"4095515414548690","name":"munmunmia","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a11cb33621caef472d7766143198dd0a","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4095515414548690","authorIdStr":"4095515414548690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Grin] ","listText":"[Grin] ","text":"[Grin]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/848446945","repostId":"1128009281","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":206,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":848997349,"gmtCreate":1635952305957,"gmtModify":1635952306051,"author":{"id":"4095515414548690","authorId":"4095515414548690","name":"munmunmia","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a11cb33621caef472d7766143198dd0a","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4095515414548690","authorIdStr":"4095515414548690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Well","listText":"Well","text":"Well","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/848997349","repostId":"1169010547","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1169010547","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1635951029,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1169010547?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-11-03 22:50","market":"us","language":"en","title":"T-Mobile Silences the Doubters With Its Earnings Report","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1169010547","media":"Barrons","summary":"T-Mobile US put recent investor fears to rest with its third-quarter results on Tuesday evening. The company fell short on revenue, but beat subscriber and earnings forecasts, and raised guidance for the remainder of 2021.
\n
Many analysts had been cautious going into T-Mobile’s third-quarter report, given the potential for strong showings by rivals and a consumer-data hack to weigh on the magenta-hued wireless company’s momentum. It didn’t turn out that way.
\n
The results were good enough to send T-Mobile stock (ticker: TMUS) soaring 6% in Wednesday morning trading, to around $123.
\n
T-Mobile reported 55 cents in earnings per share for the third quarter, ahead of analysts’ average estimate of 48 cents but, down from $1.00 in the same period a year ago. Management said that costs related to the merger with Sprint subtracted 56 cents per share from earnings in the period.
\n
Revenue in the period was $19.6 billion, up 2%, versus the Wall Street consensus of $20.2 billion. T-Mobile’s third-quarter adjusted Ebitda—short for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization—came in at $6.8 billion, matching estimates. Net income was almost $100 million better than expected at $691 million. The company also generated $1.6 billion in free cash flow, as expected.
\n
The financial results are hard to seriously criticize, but T-Mobile had set the bar high for itself. The company was coming off a pair of beat-and-raise quarters, and tends to do better than Wall Street’s numbers across the board each period it reports. As-expected results are actually a relatively weak showing for this perpetual outperformer.
\n
But investors seemed to be expecting a much worse result. T-Mobile shares had declined 20% from July 1 through Tuesday’s close, while the S&P 500 had returned 7%.
\n
On the subscriber front, T-Mobile narrowly beat AT&T‘s (T) third-quarter net additions for wireless postpaid customers—meaning those who pay a monthly bill—but lagged behind its big blue rival in postpaid phones, which are seen as the most valuable.
\n
T-Mobile said Tuesday that it added a net 1.3 million postpaid subscribers in the third quarter, topping the average call on Wall Street for 1.2 million. Some 673,000 of those were postpaid phones, versus the consensus call of 645,000. AT&T added a net 1.2 million postpaid subscribers last quarter, including 928,000 postpaid phones.Verizon Communications (VZ), meanwhile, said last month that it added a net 699,000 postpaid subscribers including 429,000 postpaid phones in the third quarter.
\n
T-Mobile’s subscriber growth beat a lowered bar from Wall Street. The average estimate of postpaid net adds came down from more than 1.5 million since the start of September, while the postpaid phones net add target stood at 750,000 two months ago. In August, T-Mobile was hit by a cyberattack that exposed customer information including social-security numbers, addresses, and driver’s license information. T-Mobile said it had worked to quickly secure its systems and had offered customers an identity-theft monitoring service, but CEO Mike Sievert warned in September that the episode had affected T-Mobile’s business for some of the third quarter.
\n
T-Mobile management lifted the bottom end of their 2021 postpaid subscriber growth target, to a current range of 5.1 million to 5.3 million net additions, versus between 5.0 million to 5.3 million a quarter ago. The company also now expects to realize merger-related cost savings faster than expected, and deliver $5.5 billion to $5.6 billion in free cash flow this year, from prior guidance of $5.2 billion to $5.5 billion.
\n
Management also lifted their guidance for 2021 “core adjusted Ebitda,” which further excludes lease revenues from adjusted Ebitda, which already leaves out stock-based compensation, merger-related costs, Covid-19-related costs, and other noncash or nonrecurring expenses. T-Mobile now has a target of $23.4 billion to $23.5 billion in core adjusted Ebitda this year, up from $23.0 billion to $23.3 billion.
\n
Zooming out beyond just the third quarter, T-Mobile’s momentum remains unmatched in the U.S. wireless industry. Last year’s acquisition of Sprint gave the combined company greater scale, wireless spectrum, and network assets, and has helped it to continue to win market share—on top of lower prices than Verizon and AT&T. Cost-savings benefits from the merger are showing up in T-Mobile’s bottom line as the lengthy integration process proceeds. Rising free cash flow will open the door to tens of billions of dollars of share repurchases in the coming years.
\n
The 20% discount to T-Mobile stock since the summer has made the shares all the more interesting. Almost 90% of Wall Street analysts have a Buy or equivalent rating on the stock, with an average price target of $169—some 45% above current levels.
","source":"lsy1601382232898","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
T-Mobile Silences the Doubters With Its Earnings Report
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nT-Mobile Silences the Doubters With Its Earnings Report\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-11-03 22:50 GMT+8 Barrons\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
T-Mobile US put recent investor fears to rest with its third-quarter results on Tuesday evening. Since bottoming out on March 23, 2020, the widely followed S&P 500 has doubled in value. For some context, the S&P 500 has average an annualized total return (including dividends paid) of closer to 11% since the beginning of 1980.
\n
But for some stocks, there's plenty of upside still to come. According to high-water price targets from select analysts and/or Wall Street investment banks, the following four growth stocks offer share-price upside ranging from a low of 187% to a high of 434% over the coming 12 months.
\n
Plug Power: Implied upside of 187%
\n
The first high-growth stock with the potential to get investors' motors running is hydrogen fuel-cell solutions provider Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG). Analyst Amit Dayal of H.C. Wainwright sees Plug Power heading to $78, which is a far cry from its closing price of $27.19, as of this past weekend. Dayal's Street-high price target implies a 187% increase in Plug's shares.
\n
The excitement surrounding Plug Power has to do with developed countries emphasizing green-energy alternatives to reduce carbon emissions. Plug's hydrogen fuel cells can be used to power consumer and commercial vehicles, and they have industrial applications, as well (e.g., forklifts). Further, there's an opportunity for the company to benefit at multiple levels of this green-energy shift, such as in building hydrogen refilling stations.
\n
The buzz surrounding this company hit a crescendo in January, shortly after Plug landed two major partnerships. First, SK Group took a 10% equity stake in the company and agreed to form a joint venture to bring fuel-cell technology to South Korea and other Asian countries. A few days later, Plug and French automaker Renault struck an agreement to form a joint venture to go after Europe's light commercial-vehicle market.
\n
There's absolutely no question that Plug Power has top-notch joint-venture partners and an incredible opportunity at its doorstep. The big question is: Can it grow into its current $16 billion market cap with profitability still years away? To that end, I'm not so certain.
\n
Columbia Care: Implied upside of 228%
\n
Marijuana stocks are another source of supercharged growth potential. In particular, U.S. multistate operator (MSO) Columbia Care (OTC:CCHWF) offers jaw-dropping upside. With the highest price target on Wall Street calling for $12 a share, and Columbia Care ending the previous week at $3.66, the upside potential here totals 228% over the coming year.
\n
Like a number of smartly run MSOs, Columbia Care has predominantly targeted limited-license cannabis markets. These are markets where regulators purposely limit how many dispensaries can open, as well as how many licenses a single business can hold. By planting its flag in limited-license markets like Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, Columbia Care is ensuring that it'll have a fair shot to build up its brands and garner a loyal following in potential billion-dollar markets without being overrun by other MSOs that have deeper pockets.
\n
The other factor that really stands out with Columbia Care is its penchant for inorganic growth. This is a company that's been pulling the trigger on multiple acquisitions each year to expand its reach. As of last week, it had 75 operating dispensaries in legalized states.
\n
For the moment, the one-time costs associated with acquisitions appears to be holding down Columbia Care's bottom line, as well as its valuation. But if the company's management team can effectively build up its brand in a number of key markets, this lofty price target may not be out of reach.
\n
Exelixis: Implied upside of 201%
\n
Biotech stocks can be like the roulette wheel of Wall Street. While the odds of a company developing a breakthrough drug aren't great, the payoff, if successful, can be huge.
\n
In the case of Exelixis (NASDAQ:EXEL), the payoff has been substantial. But according to analyst Michael King of H.C. Wainwright, this company has the potential to hit $65 a share. This would effectively triple its valuation, based on where it closed this past week.
\n
The key to Exelixis' long-term success rests with cancer drug Cabometyx, which is approved to treat first- and second-line renal cell carcinoma and advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. By no later than next year, it should be generating north of $1 billion in recurring annual sales.
\n
What's so intriguing about Exelixis' lead drug is that it's being studied in approximately six dozen clinical trials as a combination treatment or monotherapy. Though not all of these studies will be successful, it nevertheless offers a solid opportunity for Cabometyx's label to expand over time.
\n
Exelixis is also sitting on a mountain of cash and investments -- it's expected to end the year with between $1.7 billion and $1.8 billion. This capital is helping to fuel its internal research engine and could be used to acquire other therapies or businesses. While I don't believe Exelixis will come close to $65 a share in the near term, I do foresee healthy upside in its future.
\n
Inovio Pharmaceuticals: Implied upside of 434%
\n
But the crème de la crème of upside opportunity, at least on this list, is clinical-stage biotech stock Inovio Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INO). According to analyst Hartaj Singh of Oppenheimer, Inovio is forecast to hit $35 a share. Based on its $6.55 closing price last week, this implies up to 434% upside in Inovio's shares.
\n
Most of Singh's bullishness is centered around Inovio's development of a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine. With billions of people worldwide still needing to be inoculated, there's room for additional vaccine players.
\n
On the other hand, Inovio's development of its COVID-19 vaccine, INO-4800, has been just as dubious as its long-term drug-development track record. Last year, it looked as if Inovio had a real shot to be one of the first developers to hit the market with a COVID-19 vaccine. Unfortunately, Inovio's plans were derailed by partial clinical holds in the United States. To boot, the U.S. eventually pulled phase 3 trial funding, which has forced Inovio to conduct its large-scale phase 3 study in Mexico and other countries around the globe.
\n
Perhaps the bigger worry here is that, despite a robust clinical pipeline, Inovio has yet to bring a drug to pharmacy shelves more than 40 years after its founding. Inovio has been lucky enough to raise capital to keep its research going, but it's never been able to deliver on the hype surrounding the company. Suffice it to say, I don't foresee a $35 price target coming to fruition anytime soon, if ever.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
4 Growth Stocks With 187% to 434% Upside, According to Wall Street
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n4 Growth Stocks With 187% to 434% Upside, According to Wall Street\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-10-14 11:12 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
For much of the past 18 months, Wall Street and investors have enjoyed an historic stock market rally. Since bottoming out on March 23, 2020, the widely followed S&P 500 has doubled in value. For some context, the S&P 500 has average an annualized total return (including dividends paid) of closer to 11% since the beginning of 1980.\nBut for some stocks, there's plenty of upside still to come. According to high-water price targets from select analysts and/or Wall Street investment banks, the following four growth stocks offer share-price upside ranging from a low of 187% to a high of 434% over the coming 12 months.\nPlug Power: Implied upside of 187%\nThe first high-growth stock with the potential to get investors' motors running is hydrogen fuel-cell solutions provider Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG). Analyst Amit Dayal of H.C. Wainwright sees Plug Power heading to $78, which is a far cry from its closing price of $27.19, as of this past weekend. Dayal's Street-high price target implies a 187% increase in Plug's shares.\nThe excitement surrounding Plug Power has to do with developed countries emphasizing green-energy alternatives to reduce carbon emissions. Plug's hydrogen fuel cells can be used to power consumer and commercial vehicles, and they have industrial applications, as well (e.g., forklifts). Further, there's an opportunity for the company to benefit at multiple levels of this green-energy shift, such as in building hydrogen refilling stations.\nThe buzz surrounding this company hit a crescendo in January, shortly after Plug landed two major partnerships. First, SK Group took a 10% equity stake in the company and agreed to form a joint venture to bring fuel-cell technology to South Korea and other Asian countries. A few days later, Plug and French automaker Renault struck an agreement to form a joint venture to go after Europe's light commercial-vehicle market.\nThere's absolutely no question that Plug Power has top-notch joint-venture partners and an incredible opportunity at its doorstep. The big question is: Can it grow into its current $16 billion market cap with profitability still years away? To that end, I'm not so certain.\nColumbia Care: Implied upside of 228%\nMarijuana stocks are another source of supercharged growth potential. In particular, U.S. multistate operator (MSO) Columbia Care (OTC:CCHWF) offers jaw-dropping upside. With the highest price target on Wall Street calling for $12 a share, and Columbia Care ending the previous week at $3.66, the upside potential here totals 228% over the coming year.\nLike a number of smartly run MSOs, Columbia Care has predominantly targeted limited-license cannabis markets. These are markets where regulators purposely limit how many dispensaries can open, as well as how many licenses a single business can hold. By planting its flag in limited-license markets like Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, Columbia Care is ensuring that it'll have a fair shot to build up its brands and garner a loyal following in potential billion-dollar markets without being overrun by other MSOs that have deeper pockets.\nThe other factor that really stands out with Columbia Care is its penchant for inorganic growth. This is a company that's been pulling the trigger on multiple acquisitions each year to expand its reach. As of last week, it had 75 operating dispensaries in legalized states.\nFor the moment, the one-time costs associated with acquisitions appears to be holding down Columbia Care's bottom line, as well as its valuation. But if the company's management team can effectively build up its brand in a number of key markets, this lofty price target may not be out of reach.\nExelixis: Implied upside of 201%\nBiotech stocks can be like the roulette wheel of Wall Street. While the odds of a company developing a breakthrough drug aren't great, the payoff, if successful, can be huge.\nIn the case of Exelixis (NASDAQ:EXEL), the payoff has been substantial. But according to analyst Michael King of H.C. Wainwright, this company has the potential to hit $65 a share. This would effectively triple its valuation, based on where it closed this past week.\nThe key to Exelixis' long-term success rests with cancer drug Cabometyx, which is approved to treat first- and second-line renal cell carcinoma and advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. By no later than next year, it should be generating north of $1 billion in recurring annual sales.\nWhat's so intriguing about Exelixis' lead drug is that it's being studied in approximately six dozen clinical trials as a combination treatment or monotherapy. Though not all of these studies will be successful, it nevertheless offers a solid opportunity for Cabometyx's label to expand over time.\nExelixis is also sitting on a mountain of cash and investments -- it's expected to end the year with between $1.7 billion and $1.8 billion. This capital is helping to fuel its internal research engine and could be used to acquire other therapies or businesses. While I don't believe Exelixis will come close to $65 a share in the near term, I do foresee healthy upside in its future.\nInovio Pharmaceuticals: Implied upside of 434%\nBut the crème de la crème of upside opportunity, at least on this list, is clinical-stage biotech stock Inovio Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INO). According to analyst Hartaj Singh of Oppenheimer, Inovio is forecast to hit $35 a share. Based on its $6.55 closing price last week, this implies up to 434% upside in Inovio's shares.\nMost of Singh's bullishness is centered around Inovio's development of a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine. With billions of people worldwide still needing to be inoculated, there's room for additional vaccine players.\nOn the other hand, Inovio's development of its COVID-19 vaccine, INO-4800, has been just as dubious as its long-term drug-development track record. Last year, it looked as if Inovio had a real shot to be one of the first developers to hit the market with a COVID-19 vaccine. It will also no doubt highlight a few run-for-hills scenarios like what we saw after a few October big tech earnings releases that fell short of expectations.
The S&P 500 average return is 1.57% in the month of November, with 29 of the past 40 Novembers being in positive territory, led by 2020 at 11.8% -- the best November in history.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":748,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":848446945,"gmtCreate":1636023783785,"gmtModify":1636023783872,"author":{"id":"4095515414548690","authorId":"4095515414548690","name":"munmunmia","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a11cb33621caef472d7766143198dd0a","crmLevel":8,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4095515414548690","authorIdStr":"4095515414548690"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Grin] ","listText":"[Grin] ","text":"[Grin]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/848446945","repostId":"1128009281","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1128009281","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1636023159,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1128009281?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-11-04 18:52","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Regeneron quarterly profit nearly doubles on strong demand for eczema drug","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1128009281","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc's third-quarter profit nearly doubled on Thursday, helped by robust de","content":"
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc's third-quarter profit nearly doubled on Thursday, helped by robust demand for its blockbuster drugs Dupixent to treat eczema and eye treatment Eylea.
\n
The company's net profit rose to $1.63 billion, or $14.33 per share, in the quarter ended Sept. 30, from $842.1 million, or $7.39 per share, a year earlier.
\n
Its shares stayed flat in premarket trading.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Since bottoming out on March 23, 2020, the widely followed S&P 500 has doubled in value.
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
For much of the past 18 months, Wall Street and investors have enjoyed an historic stock market rally. But if the company's management team can effectively build up its brand in a number of key markets, this lofty price target may not be out of reach.\nExelixis: Implied upside of 201%\nBiotech stocks can be like the roulette wheel of Wall Street. While the odds of a company developing a breakthrough drug aren't great, the payoff, if successful, can be huge.\nIn the case of Exelixis (NASDAQ:EXEL), the payoff has been substantial. But according to analyst Michael King of H.C. Wainwright, this company has the potential to hit $65 a share. This would effectively triple its valuation, based on where it closed this past week.\nThe key to Exelixis' long-term success rests with cancer drug Cabometyx, which is approved to treat first- and second-line renal cell carcinoma and advanced hepatocellular carcinoma. By no later than next year, it should be generating north of $1 billion in recurring annual sales.\nWhat's so intriguing about Exelixis' lead drug is that it's being studied in approximately six dozen clinical trials as a combination treatment or monotherapy. Though not all of these studies will be successful, it nevertheless offers a solid opportunity for Cabometyx's label to expand over time.\nExelixis is also sitting on a mountain of cash and investments -- it's expected to end the year with between $1.7 billion and $1.8 billion. This capital is helping to fuel its internal research engine and could be used to acquire other therapies or businesses. While I don't believe Exelixis will come close to $65 a share in the near term, I do foresee healthy upside in its future.\nInovio Pharmaceuticals: Implied upside of 434%\nBut the crème de la crème of upside opportunity, at least on this list, is clinical-stage biotech stock Inovio Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INO). According to analyst Hartaj Singh of Oppenheimer, Inovio is forecast to hit $35 a share. Based on its $6.55 closing price last week, this implies up to 434% upside in Inovio's shares.\nMost of Singh's bullishness is centered around Inovio's development of a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine. With billions of people worldwide still needing to be inoculated, there's room for additional vaccine players.\nOn the other hand, Inovio's development of its COVID-19 vaccine, INO-4800, has been just as dubious as its long-term drug-development track record. Last year, it looked as if Inovio had a real shot to be one of the first developers to hit the market with a COVID-19 vaccine. Unfortunately, Inovio's plans were derailed by partial clinical holds in the United States. To boot, the U.S. eventually pulled phase 3 trial funding, which has forced Inovio to conduct its large-scale phase 3 study in Mexico and other countries around the globe.\nPerhaps the bigger worry here is that, despite a robust clinical pipeline, Inovio has yet to bring a drug to pharmacy shelves more than 40 years after its founding. Inovio has been lucky enough to raise capital to keep its research going, but it's never been able to deliver on the hype surrounding the company. Suffice it to say, I don't foresee a $35 price target coming to fruition anytime soon, if ever.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":135,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
