I opened $SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$  ,SMCI: bought in some SMCI at $385 on the sell off after the negative news of DOJ initiating probes on the company over financial inaccuracies. New developments on the same piece of information so we’ll see how much more it can go. Well, the bottom is zero for sure.

I opened $SMCI 20241011 300.0 PUT$  ,SMCI: Low can go even lower. SMCI is being probed by DOJ and stock tanked. While not outright buying stock now, since i hold a fair bit on hand. Sold a new put at $300 to collect premium or to buy in for DCA at $300 if it ever went that low by next Friday 11th Oct.

I opened $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$  ,META: short additional META shares in market opens and also positive news catalyst coming out from META camp on new product announcements and also analyst upgrades. I think META over long term will be higher, yet also might be on profit taking short term. Will observe.

I opened $United Continental(UAL)$  ,UAL: opened a new short position on UAL on breakout of its most recent top made in May. Accumulate starter positions with the shorts and will DCA my way in to full position eventually.

I opened $Royal Caribbean Cruises(RCL)$  ,RCL: Continue to rip higher on a generally bullish market. Market opened strongly and drifts slightly lower. RCL still is creating new all time high and continue to DCA my way up with the shorts.

I opened $iShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF(IJR)$  ,IJR: weekly DCA into the ETF. So far it’s pretty flat and happy to continue to accumulate and also use up some of Tiger’s DCA vouchers. Always good to test out new functions when there are some associated promotions. Then one can decide to use more or less of it.

I closed $Newmont Mining(NEM)$  ,NEM: continue to take profit as gold prices hit all time high. Split my holdings into 3 portions and this is the 2nd batch sold at slight better pricing compared to 1st batch. Glad to do so. Might sold off the rest this week or next if continue to move up.

I opened $Royal Caribbean Cruises(RCL)$  ,RCL: continue to DCA short on the way up and accumulate. Soon will have enough shares to sell cash secured puts 😅 market shows signs of fatigues but yet to crack.

I opened $GFS 20241115 50.0 CALL$  ,GFS: collect 0.6% premium for this covered call on GFS with strike at $50 which is about 25% higher than current rate. Contract expires in 51 days on 15th Nov. premium is low and far out of the money as it’s below my holding average. Still, wish to collect some premium to offset the opportunity cost. Going to have a series of these as I have a fair but of GFS on hand.

I opened $IQ 20241025 3.0 CALL$  ,IQ: sold additional covered call on IQ as price recovers by 14% on news that China is stimulating the market. Stock is still substantially lower than my average holding at $3 so I’m just glad to collect some premiums while waiting.

I opened $NIO 20241101 7.0 CALL$  ,NIO: collect 3.1% premium on these covered calls on NIO with strike at $7 which is 20% higher. NIO showing some signs of breaking out of close above 200 days MA today. Took the opportunity of the 9% rise todat to sell covered call with better premium. Contracts expires on 38 days on 1st Nov which is slightly before earnings on 6th Nov.

I opened $Celsius Holdings, Inc.(CELH)$  ,CELH: bought in additional batch of CELC when it’s testing recent low at support. Things won’t look good if it breaks but as it is, the stock is supported. Looking for a quick reversal trade. Might continue to add in the way down at around the $27 zones.

I opened $META 20241025 495.0 PUT$  ,META: collect 0.7% premium on cash secured put with strike at $495 which is about $20 higher than my last sold put expiring later this week on 27th Sept. META had run up a fair bit and yet it’s not really expensive among the Mag 7 in terms of valuation. Strike is set at around the 100 days MA and also below the key $55 support so hope that give some assurance. Contract expires in 31 days on 25th Oct.

I opened $AAPL 20241025 215.0 PUT$  ,AAPL: collect 0.7% premium on cash secured put with strike at $215 which is about 5% lower. Strike is set at around recent low, so either get assigned or reverse back up along with market. Contract expires in 31 days on 25th Oct.

I opened $SOFI 20241004 8.5 CALL$  ,SoFI: collect 0.55% premium from these covered call with strike at $8.5 which is higher than my usual sell strike. As such the premium collected is lower. As I have less SoFi now, holding on to the remaining is more of my current thought process. Contracts expires in 10 days on 4th Oct.

I opened $Royal Caribbean Cruises(RCL)$  ,RCL: continue to DCA into the shorts positions for RCL. RCL is breaking all time high and is up at least 5x since the 2022 covid low. Fundamentals greatly improved, just whether it’s the right price to buy or sell.

I opened $WBA 20241025 10.5 CALL$  ,WBA: collect 2.05% premium on these covered call with strike at $10.5 which is a good 20% higher than current rate. These options will expire in 32 days on 25th Oct. Had these batch of WBA bought in at $10 so will earn some capital is the strike is hit by expiry. Else happy to collect the premiums and repeat selling covered call. Risk is when WBA continue to go lower.

I closed $Newmont Mining(NEM)$  ,NEM: sold portion on NEM positions for 5% profit. Gold had been moving to all time high and profit taking might be at okay. Take some profit off the table and let the rest to run a bit more.

I opened $WBA 20241018 10.0 CALL$  ,WBA: collect 2.7% premium for selling new covered call on WBA with strike at $10 after being assigned last Friday. Contracts will expire in 25 days on 18th Oct. WBA charts are very weak and guess not all CEO can turnaround a company.

I opened $BABA 20241025 95.0 CALL$  ,BABA: collect 1.45% premium on this covered call with increased strike at $95 which is about $5 higher than current market. Contract will expire in 32 days on 25th Oct. BABA is testing its May high at around $90 and being resisted so far. The strike is $5 above so we’ll see if can breach in a month or reversal down.
