While the share price of the brick-and-mortar video game retailer remains up over 1,000% year-to-date, the stock opened on June 30 at $209.69, less than half its 52-week high of $483 per share.\nSince June 10, GameStop’s stock price has almost entirely been trading in a range of $200 to $230, which is about as stable as it has been since it was targeted by retail investors on r/WallStreetBets site in late January and became the original meme stock.\nThe GME Stock Circus\nAfter wild, headline-grabbing swings throughout the spring that saw GME stock jump from $17 up to nearly $500, back down to $40 and up again above $300, GameStop has become one of the most infamous stocks in Wall Street history. It’s destined to be forever linked to the meme stock craze and short-selling. The stock has also entered the pop culture lexicon with phrases such as “to the moon,” “stonks” and “diamond hands,” and introduced the world to memorable characters such as trader Roaring Kitty.\nGiven the circus-like atmosphere that has surrounded GameStop, a company headquartered near Dallas, Texas, that is the largest video game retailer in the world, many analysts and professional traders on Wall Street are, understandably, trying to determine where the stock goes from here.\nInvestment bank Robert W. Since then, trading interest and social media chatter around GME stock has died down. Many traders have turned their attention to other short squeeze stocks, tech names and cryptocurrencies.
\n
Normally, when a stock loses interest, its share price tends to slump. But the funny thing about GameStop stock is that it actually stabilized around the $175 mark. It hasn’t made another huge run-up as the bulls had hoped.
\n
But it certainly hasn’t crashed either. Instead, it has seemingly found an equilibrium in the $150-$200 range. That’s an outcome almost no one would have predicted heading into 2021. So what do things look like for GME stock going forward?
\n
Seeking to Grow Into Its Valuation
\n
GameStop now holds a market capitalization of around $13 billion. This puts GameStop in something of a no man’s land. The company is drastically overpriced based on the value of its traditional physical games business. After all, GME stock traded south of $10 per share until fairly recently.
\n
On the other hand, if GameStop can successfully transform itself into an e-commerce giant, $13 billion might seem cheap. The obvious comparison is to online pet products retailer Chewy(NYSE:CHWY). Ryan Cohen built Chewy into a dominant player in its field as its former CEO. Now, he’ll be trying to work the same magic at GameStop as he steps into the role of chairman.
\n
Chewy currently has a market capitalization of $29 billion. That’s an encouraging figure for GameStop, as GME stock is still at just half of Chewy’s valuation. On the other hand, Chewy has already demonstrated success at online e-commerce and is running at roughly break even levels in terms of earnings. GameStop will need a good deal more time to get its e-commerce business to a comparable level.
\n
Options Trades Still Offer Appeal
\n
A couple months ago, I discussed selling GME naked puts to capitalize on the weird situation here. GameStop stock is clearly ahead of itself when you look at the fundamentals. On the other hand, the company no longer has any bankruptcy risk. Its recent stock offering ensures that GameStop is cashed up and capable of living on for years to come as it seeks to transform into an e-commerce business.
\n
As such, GameStop is likely to go down in coming months, but not nearly as quickly as bears hope. The naked put strategy is a way to take advantage of this. The seller gets premium up-front from selling the option. If the stock falls below the pre-determined strike price, the seller buys the stock at said price while keeping the premium.
\n
Even with GameStop well north of $100, people have been paying good money to bet on GME stock returning to $25 or less within a few months.
\n
The position I previously discussed — selling July $20 puts — has now returned a 90% profit. With short options, the maximum gain is 100% when the option in question reaches zero. Those puts I sold initially fetched $2 each and are now trading for around 20 cents.
\n
While that particular option contract is no longer as appealing, there are compelling alternatives in future months. Jan 2022 $30 puts, for example, currently sell for almost $2. This means that a seller would get $200 per contract up front and be on the hook to buy the stock at $28 ($30 minus the premium) if GME stock crashed to less than $30 over the next 8 months.
\n
Given all the cash GameStop just raised, it should be able to keep its stock price above of $30.
\n
GME Stock Verdict
\n
I see little reason whatsoever to own GME stock. At this price, people are acting as if GameStop’s conversion into an e-commerce company has already been successful. The company can’t come anywhere close to supporting a $13 billion price tag simply based on its existing brick-and-mortar business. Thus, its future e-commerce endeavors will have to achieve major success merely to justify today’s valuation, let alone any further upside.
\n
However, GameStop isn’t going bust anytime soon, either. Since then, trading interest and social media chatter around GME stock has died down. Many traders have turned their attention to other short squeeze stocks, tech names and cryptocurrencies.\nNormally, when a stock loses interest, its share price tends to slump. But the funny thing about GameStop stock is that it actually stabilized around the $175 mark. It hasn’t made another huge run-up as the bulls had hoped.\nBut it certainly hasn’t crashed either. Instead, it has seemingly found an equilibrium in the $150-$200 range. That’s an outcome almost no one would have predicted heading into 2021. So what do things look like for GME stock going forward?\nSeeking to Grow Into Its Valuation\nGameStop now holds a market capitalization of around $13 billion. This puts GameStop in something of a no man’s land. The company is drastically overpriced based on the value of its traditional physical games business. After all, GME stock traded south of $10 per share until fairly recently.\nOn the other hand, if GameStop can successfully transform itself into an e-commerce giant, $13 billion might seem cheap. The obvious comparison is to online pet products retailer Chewy(NYSE:CHWY). Ryan Cohen built Chewy into a dominant player in its field as its former CEO. Now, he’ll be trying to work the same magic at GameStop as he steps into the role of chairman.\nChewy currently has a market capitalization of $29 billion. That’s an encouraging figure for GameStop, as GME stock is still at just half of Chewy’s valuation. On the other hand, Chewy has already demonstrated success at online e-commerce and is running at roughly break even levels in terms of earnings. GameStop will need a good deal more time to get its e-commerce business to a comparable level.\nOptions Trades Still Offer Appeal\nA couple months ago, I discussed selling GME naked puts to capitalize on the weird situation here. GameStop stock is clearly ahead of itself when you look at the fundamentals. On the other hand, the company no longer has any bankruptcy risk. Its recent stock offering ensures that GameStop is cashed up and capable of living on for years to come as it seeks to transform into an e-commerce business.\nAs such, GameStop is likely to go down in coming months, but not nearly as quickly as bears hope. The naked put strategy is a way to take advantage of this. The seller gets premium up-front from selling the option. If the stock falls below the pre-determined strike price, the seller buys the stock at said price while keeping the premium.\nEven with GameStop well north of $100, people have been paying good money to bet on GME stock returning to $25 or less within a few months.\nThe position I previously discussed — selling July $20 puts — has now returned a 90% profit. With short options, the maximum gain is 100% when the option in question reaches zero. Those puts I sold initially fetched $2 each and are now trading for around 20 cents.\nWhile that particular option contract is no longer as appealing, there are compelling alternatives in future months. Jan 2022 $30 puts, for example, currently sell for almost $2. This means that a seller would get $200 per contract up front and be on the hook to buy the stock at $28 ($30 minus the premium) if GME stock crashed to less than $30 over the next 8 months.\nGiven all the cash GameStop just raised, it should be able to keep its stock price above of $30.\nGME Stock Verdict\nI see little reason whatsoever to own GME stock. At this price, people are acting as if GameStop’s conversion into an e-commerce company has already been successful. The company can’t come anywhere close to supporting a $13 billion price tag simply based on its existing brick-and-mortar business. Thus, its future e-commerce endeavors will have to achieve major success merely to justify today’s valuation, let alone any further upside.\nHowever, GameStop isn’t going bust anytime soon, either. The bearish thesis made sense at one point, but that ship has sailed. The company now has cash and plenty of time to try to turn things around. Thus, instead of buying or shorting the stock outright, consider options strategies to profit from the stock’s inflated levels of volatility.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"GME":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":672,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":197116256,"gmtCreate":1621433194175,"gmtModify":1634189190886,"author":{"id":"3575535478532281","authorId":"3575535478532281","name":"MoneyLaiLai","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/639a3b03c57fa8d7cf603a5133568706","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575535478532281","authorIdStr":"3575535478532281"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Can’t wait to see those F.HF burn 🔥 GME TO THE MOON 🌙 🚀 ","listText":"Can’t wait to see those F.HF burn 🔥 GME TO THE MOON 🌙 🚀 ","text":"Can’t wait to see those F.HF burn 🔥 GME TO THE MOON 🌙 🚀","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/197116256","repostId":"2136999820","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"2136999820","kind":"highlight","pubTimestamp":1621413033,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2136999820?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-19 16:30","market":"us","language":"en","title":"A new short squeeze in GameStop and AMC? In the second quarter, warned the banker, trading volumes at retail brokerages showed as much as a 30% sequential decline in meme stock buying. And of course, it's hard to create a short squeeze without buyers.
\n
Result: Meme stocks took a tumble, with Eastman Kodak(NYSE:KODK)closing Thursday down 8.5% from Friday's close,BlackBerry Limited(NYSE:BB)losing 10.4%, and GameStop(NYSE:GME)crashing to a 12.8% loss.
\n
So what
\n
Only in one instance was there actual news to explain the declines. In fact, more than half of GameStop's losses for the week came on just one trading day -- Wednesday -- when Bloomberg reported that Netflix is eying an entryinto the video game space, in which it will de facto compete with GameStop.
\n
As for the other companies, though -- and as for meme stocks in general--it's primarily a shift in sentiment against the companies that's weighing on their stock prices. Following up on Goldman's negative take, Franklin Resources CEO Jenny Johnson chimed in on Wednesday with a warning that traders \"could lose everything\" if they persist in buying meme stocks.
\n
Now what
\n
Attractive as it might be to think you're \"sticking it to the man\" on Wall Street by buying stocks that \"hedge funds\" are shorting, the simple truth is that neither BlackBerry nor Kodak has earned any profit whatsoever since 2019 -- and GameStop hasn't earned a profit since 2018.
\n
\"I never like investing where there isn't fundamentals behind it,\" Johnson told Yahoo! In the second quarter, warned the banker, trading volumes at retail brokerages showed as much as a 30% sequential decline in meme stock buying. And of course, it's hard to create a short squeeze without buyers.\nResult: Meme stocks took a tumble, with Eastman Kodak(NYSE:KODK)closing Thursday down 8.5% from Friday's close,BlackBerry Limited(NYSE:BB)losing 10.4%, and GameStop(NYSE:GME)crashing to a 12.8% loss.\nSo what\nOnly in one instance was there actual news to explain the declines. In fact, more than half of GameStop's losses for the week came on just one trading day -- Wednesday -- when Bloomberg reported that Netflix is eying an entryinto the video game space, in which it will de facto compete with GameStop.\nAs for the other companies, though -- and as for meme stocks in general--it's primarily a shift in sentiment against the companies that's weighing on their stock prices. Following up on Goldman's negative take, Franklin Resources CEO Jenny Johnson chimed in on Wednesday with a warning that traders \"could lose everything\" if they persist in buying meme stocks.\nNow what\nAttractive as it might be to think you're \"sticking it to the man\" on Wall Street by buying stocks that \"hedge funds\" are shorting, the simple truth is that neither BlackBerry nor Kodak has earned any profit whatsoever since 2019 -- and GameStop hasn't earned a profit since 2018.\n\"I never like investing where there isn't fundamentals behind it,\" Johnson told Yahoo! Finance Wednesday. While it's certainly true that a lucky few traders could make -- indeed, have made -- money trying to time the market on meme stocks, there's no underlying value to the companies behind the stock tickers -- no profits. While the share price of the brick-and-mortar video game retailer remains up over 1,000% year-to-date, the stock opened on June 30 at $209.69, less than half its 52-week high of $483 per share.
\n
Since June 10, GameStop’s stock price has almost entirely been trading in a range of $200 to $230, which is about as stable as it has been since it was targeted by retail investors on r/WallStreetBets site in late January and became the original meme stock.
\n
The GME Stock Circus
\n
After wild, headline-grabbing swings throughout the spring that saw GME stock jump from $17 up to nearly $500, back down to $40 and up again above $300, GameStop has become one of the most infamous stocks in Wall Street history. It’s destined to be forever linked to the meme stock craze and short-selling. The stock has also entered the pop culture lexicon with phrases such as “to the moon,” “stonks” and “diamond hands,” and introduced the world to memorable characters such as trader Roaring Kitty.
\n
Given the circus-like atmosphere that has surrounded GameStop, a company headquartered near Dallas, Texas, that is the largest video game retailer in the world, many analysts and professional traders on Wall Street are, understandably, trying to determine where the stock goes from here.
\n
Investment bank Robert W. Baird & Co. (commonly known as Baird) made headlines recently when it announced that it is suspending analyst coverage of GME stock, saying that continued speculative trading makes it nearly impossible to evaluate the company and make “reasonable” recommendations about it to clients.
\n
Many investment firms are steering clear of GameStop after the stock’s rally this year cost short sellers billions in losses. GameStop and fellow meme stock AMC(NYSE:AMC)cost short sellers nearly $1 billion in five trading days during May after their share prices leapt higher. Investment management firm Melvin Capital lost more than $4 billion in the first quarter betting against GameStop, which traders and analysts see as a troubled company that continues to sell video games at retail outlets as the industry increasingly moves online. Some critics compare GameStop to now-defunct movie rental chain Blockbuster video.
\n
Yet despite the disdain leveled at it, the management of GameStop insists that they have a plan to move the company forward and ensure it survives to become more than a cautionary tale for future investors.
\n
Under New Management
\n
In this year’s first half, as GME stock bounced all over the place, the company completely changed its management team. On June 9, GameStop announced that it had hired former Amazon executive Matt Furlong as its new chief executive officer (CEO), and also hired fellow Amazon executive Mike Recupero as its chief financial officer (CFO). The hiring of a pair of experienced Amazon executives was seen as an extremely practical decision amid a sea of irrational stock trading.
\n
Furlong, the new CEO, had previously worked at Amazon for nearly nine years and was instrumental in growing that online retailer’s business in Australia. The new CEO was the last of several new executives to join GameStop this year. The company also added to its senior ranks a new chief operating officer, its first chief technology officer, and a chief growth officer. Perhaps most importantly, GameStop named Ryan Cohen, the co-founder of online pet retailer Chewy(NYSE:CHWY) as chairman of its board of directors.
\n
Ryan Cohen, who made a success of Chewy, has been brought in to lead GameStop’s fledgling e-commerce strategy. While the Reddit traders have applauded all of the new executive hires at GameStop, they have been particularly enthusiastic about Ryan Cohen joining the company and seem to rally around the stock every time he comments publicly on the video game retailer’s future.
\n
Give GME Stock Time to Normalize
\n
GME stock has come to a fork in the road. The company and its stock are either going to experience a flameout and go down in infamy, or management will right the ship and ensure that GameStop remains a going concern as a hybrid online and brick-and-mortar video game retailer. Time will tell which way GameStop ultimately goes. But right now, GameStop is a troubled company that has brought in a new executive team to turn things around after a tumultuous time for its stock and shareholders.
\n
As such, its hard to recommend investors take a position in GameStop. Baird & Co. (commonly known as Baird) made headlines recently when it announced that it is suspending analyst coverage of GME stock, saying that continued speculative trading makes it nearly impossible to evaluate the company and make “reasonable” recommendations about it to clients.\nMany investment firms are steering clear of GameStop after the stock’s rally this year cost short sellers billions in losses. Some critics compare GameStop to now-defunct movie rental chain Blockbuster video.\nYet despite the disdain leveled at it, the management of GameStop insists that they have a plan to move the company forward and ensure it survives to become more than a cautionary tale for future investors.\nUnder New Management\nIn this year’s first half, as GME stock bounced all over the place, the company completely changed its management team. On June 9, GameStop announced that it had hired former Amazon executive Matt Furlong as its new chief executive officer (CEO), and also hired fellow Amazon executive Mike Recupero as its chief financial officer (CFO). The hiring of a pair of experienced Amazon executives was seen as an extremely practical decision amid a sea of irrational stock trading.\nFurlong, the new CEO, had previously worked at Amazon for nearly nine years and was instrumental in growing that online retailer’s business in Australia. The new CEO was the last of several new executives to join GameStop this year. The company also added to its senior ranks a new chief operating officer, its first chief technology officer, and a chief growth officer. Perhaps most importantly, GameStop named Ryan Cohen, the co-founder of online pet retailer Chewy(NYSE:CHWY) as chairman of its board of directors.\nRyan Cohen, who made a success of Chewy, has been brought in to lead GameStop’s fledgling e-commerce strategy. While the Reddit traders have applauded all of the new executive hires at GameStop, they have been particularly enthusiastic about Ryan Cohen joining the company and seem to rally around the stock every time he comments publicly on the video game retailer’s future.\nGive GME Stock Time to Normalize\nGME stock has come to a fork in the road. The company and its stock are either going to experience a flameout and go down in infamy, or management will right the ship and ensure that GameStop remains a going concern as a hybrid online and brick-and-mortar video game retailer. Time will tell which way GameStop ultimately goes. But right now, GameStop is a troubled company that has brought in a new executive team to turn things around after a tumultuous time for its stock and shareholders.\nAs such, its hard to recommend investors take a position in GameStop. Until GME stock legitimately stabilizes and demonstrates that it has normalized, investors should stay away from it. The median price target on GameStop shares is currently $73.75, implying a 65% decline from current levels. Last year, the company was bankrupt and shares were on a roller coaster – investors could try to double or triple their money in a day. But if an investor held on and didn’t sell shares out of boredom or when the stock stopped being compelling (Yahoo Finance traffic data showed interest and trading volume fell off in July 2020 they would be in a pretty good situation, returns-wise.
\n

\n
Hertz had fallen from a June 2020 peak of over $6 to well under a dollar during the months after interest waned and was delisted from the NYSE in 2020. But in May, it ended up being worth over $6 a share when the company emerged from bankruptcy via auction, rewarding shareholders who stayed.
\n
The only thesis there would have been “this name-brand rental car company would get its mojo back when people start renting cars again,” not a huge jump.
\n
'Meme’ stocks and SPACs could have moonshot potential, even if tiny
\n
On the SPAC boom, Colas mused that most will probably fail or at least “dramatically underperform,” but that “somewhere in this barrage of moonshots there will almost certainly be a few huge winners that leverage disruptive technology.”
\n
According to a Reuters investigation, 100 SPACs, most of which began trading last year, gained just 2% from their first-traded prices, dramatically underperforming the S&P 500 index.
\n
But Colas has a reminder that there is an easy way to get exposure to any breakaway successes in the SPAC world — by simply getting involved in a broad equity portfolio like the S&P 500.
\n
“If you own a diversified US equity portfolio like the S&P 500, then SPACs and meme stocks are basically free call options,” Colas wrote. “Somewhere in that basket of oddball ideas could be the next Amazon or Apple, and you absolutely want to see those companies funded. At some point, the 1 percent of SPACs that actually work will end up in the S&P 500, driving future returns. And the 99 percent that fail will have cost you nothing.”
\n

\n
While you might not get the jaw-dropping ground-floor gains, a transformative company would have plenty of gains still to give an index after it’s added. Just look at Apple, Amazon, or even Tesla. If the company is a good one, it will do well, and even if you don’t get those ground-floor gains, not having the losers is a huge advantage.
\n
This is key because you never know what’s going to happen. For a SPAC with a nebulous business, you can have the moon in your sights. The vaguer things are, the higher you can shoot. But for GameStop, AMC, and Hertz, we’re talking about a game store, a movie theater chain, and a car-rental company — hardly the next Apple. At least, you’d think. But not necessarily.
\n
“There is always some level of optionality in any business, no matter how prosaic,” Colas told Yahoo Finance. “And that optionality increases in value when there is a ton of cash on the balance sheet because managements have more time to explore the options embedded in the price.”
\n
In other words, when these meme stocks have a ton of cash, more than they’ve ever dreamed of, a lot more might be possible, even if it’s a long shot.
\n
“Now, the options might not be worth much,” Colas added, “but they aren't worth zero until the cash is gone.”
","source":"yahoofinance","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Meme stock frenzy is distracting investors from 'huge opportunities,' Datatrek says
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nMeme stock frenzy is distracting investors from 'huge opportunities,' Datatrek says\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-06-09 17:36 GMT+8 Yahoo Finance\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
There is probably a lot of trash in the speculative boom currently taking hold of markets. But in May, it ended up being worth over $6 a share when the company emerged from bankruptcy via auction, rewarding shareholders who stayed.\nThe only thesis there would have been “this name-brand rental car company would get its mojo back when people start renting cars again,” not a huge jump.\n'Meme’ stocks and SPACs could have moonshot potential, even if tiny\nOn the SPAC boom, Colas mused that most will probably fail or at least “dramatically underperform,” but that “somewhere in this barrage of moonshots there will almost certainly be a few huge winners that leverage disruptive technology.”\nAccording to a Reuters investigation, 100 SPACs, most of which began trading last year, gained just 2% from their first-traded prices, dramatically underperforming the S&P 500 index.\nBut Colas has a reminder that there is an easy way to get exposure to any breakaway successes in the SPAC world — by simply getting involved in a broad equity portfolio like the S&P 500.\n“If you own a diversified US equity portfolio like the S&P 500, then SPACs and meme stocks are basically free call options,” Colas wrote. “Somewhere in that basket of oddball ideas could be the next Amazon or Apple, and you absolutely want to see those companies funded. At some point, the 1 percent of SPACs that actually work will end up in the S&P 500, driving future returns. And the 99 percent that fail will have cost you nothing.”\n\nWhile you might not get the jaw-dropping ground-floor gains, a transformative company would have plenty of gains still to give an index after it’s added. Just look at Apple, Amazon, or even Tesla. If the company is a good one, it will do well, and even if you don’t get those ground-floor gains, not having the losers is a huge advantage.\nThis is key because you never know what’s going to happen. But not necessarily.\n“There is always some level of optionality in any business, no matter how prosaic,” Colas told Yahoo Finance. “And that optionality increases in value when there is a ton of cash on the balance sheet because managements have more time to explore the options embedded in the price.”\nIn other words, when these meme stocks have a ton of cash, more than they’ve ever dreamed of, a lot more might be possible, even if it’s a long shot.\n“Now, the options might not be worth much,” Colas added, “but they aren't worth zero until the cash is gone.”","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"161125":0.9,"513500":0.9,".SPX":0.9,"AMC":0.9,"ESmain":0.9,"GME":0.9,"HRI":0.9,"IVV":0.9,"OEF":0.9,"OEX":0.9,"SDS":0.9,"SH":0.9,"SPXU":0.9,"SSO":0.9,"UPRO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1581,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":130445437,"gmtCreate":1621563064629,"gmtModify":1634188062161,"author":{"id":"3575535478532281","authorId":"3575535478532281","name":"MoneyLaiLai","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/639a3b03c57fa8d7cf603a5133568706","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3575535478532281","authorIdStr":"3575535478532281"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"The only way is to the moon!!!","listText":"The only way is to the moon!!!","text":"The only way is to the moon!!!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/130445437","repostId":"1188975226","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1188975226","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1621522126,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1188975226?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-05-20 22:48","market":"us","language":"en","title":"GameStop Never Went Back Down, So Profit Off of Those Who Think It Will","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1188975226","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Naked puts are a way to profit, as long as GameStop doesn't fall drastically in value\nIt has been ov","content":"
Naked puts are a way to profit, as long as GameStop doesn't fall drastically in value
\n
It has been over 3 months since the first massive short squeeze in GameStop (NYSE:GME) stock.
The bearish thesis made sense at one point, but that ship has sailed. The company now has cash and plenty of time to try to turn things around. Thus, instead of buying or shorting the stock outright, consider options strategies to profit from the stock’s inflated levels of volatility.
","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
GameStop Never Went Back Down, So Profit Off of Those Who Think It Will
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nGameStop Never Went Back Down, So Profit Off of Those Who Think It Will\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-05-20 22:48 GMT+8 InvestorPlace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Naked puts are a way to profit, as long as GameStop doesn't fall drastically in value\nIt has been over 3 months since the first massive short squeeze in GameStop (NYSE:GME) stock.
