$Nike(NKE)$, the world largest sports brand justdipped almost 4% after hours. Due to company missing expectations on sales, we saw a short term move by investors to move out of the stock. However, the issue does not lie with changes in the fundamentals of the company, but with the supply chain disruption.

It is reported that there are inventory shortage that led to decreased sales and $Nike(NKE)$is just one of the many companies affected by the fragility of the supply chain demostrated by COVID’s impact. However, this looks to be a great opportunity for investors who have been eyeing the stock to make an entry.

The stock slid over 11% from ATH in the timespan of 2 months and seems to be selling at a decent discount for those interested to get in. Howeveri would recommend this as a long term play as the supply chain issues do not seem to be resolving any time soon. The upcoming festive season might reveal further impact the disruption of supplychain might have on $Nike(NKE)$as demand willbe surging.

Buying a LEAPS option at this point in time with rather high levels of fear and uncertainty in the stock seems to be very viable.
