This is for the folks hung up on the numbers game. (More cars = success).
Would you say $Volvo AB(VLVLY)$ Volvo is a well-established, successful brand? I would.
Did you know that globally they rank (only) 36th as a global brand? And take a look at the volume of cars shipped recently by model - it will surprise you. I.e., Volvo XC90 with 37,918 units sold in 2020. (Of course they have other lines as well).
Oh, and they have been around for DECADES! And Oh squared, they only .82% of the U.S. Market. And, financially they are doing very well.
And Oh again, they aren't peddling cutting edge drive train technology in an exploding EV market project to hit $725B by 2026.
Great news and my guess is enthusiasm (SP today) is also fueled by recent $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ tesla and $Loews(L)$ stock price.
