The technology sector bounce back broadly from a recent decline, based on the dual fears of the omicron variant and higher interest rates. Semiconductor stocks led the way, with gains far outpacing the broader market.
$Intel(INTC)$
The chipmaker announced plans late Monday to take its Mobileye business public. Intel is aiming for an initial public offering of the unit in mid-2022 and believes it can land a valuation of around $50 billion. Intel closed at $52.57 in the latest trading session, marking a 5.48% move from the prior day.
$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$
NVIDIA shares have gained +147% in the YTD period. According to YahooFinance, a surge in Hyperscale demand remains a tailwind for the company’s Data Center business. Expansion of NVIDIA GeForce NOW is expected to drive user base. Solid uptake of artificial intelligence-based smart cockpit infotainment solutions is another positive. Collaboration with Mercedes-Benz is also expected to further strengthen NVIDIA’s presence in the autonomous vehicles space.
$AMD(AMD)$
AMD's growth has benefited from strong demand for its chips, which are used in data centers, computers, and game consoles. AMD is going to provide the building blocks of $Meta Platforms, Inc.(FB)$ Platforms' metaverse. AMD shares up 4.16% on Tuesday.

Marvell is a data infrastructure semiconductor solutions provider. It principally engages in delivering the data infrastructure technology that connects the world. On top of that, the company’s subsidiary, Inphi Corporation, engages in providing analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions for the communications and cloud markets. MRVL stock has risen by over 25% in the past five days.

The company is a world leader in innovative memory solutions that transform how the world uses information. With a history of more than 40 years, it has been instrumental to the world’s most significant technology today. MU stock has risen more than 15% just within the past month.
