Bitcoin prices are up over 90% so far in 2021, according to FactSet data. By comparison, gold, considered a rival to bitcoin, is down by about 6% in 2021. Bitcoin prices are up over 90% so far in 2021, according to FactSet data. By comparison, gold, considered a rival to bitcoin, is down by about 6% in 2021.
