$SPDR Russell 3000 ETF(SPTM)$ is a part of the SPDR Portfolio ETF line up, a collection of core-exposure funds that track S&P indexes.  The Fund tracks the S&P Composite 1500 Index.

The S&P index Committee chooses at least 1500 stocks to represent the US equities market.  SPTM stocks are added and removed as and when required and rebalanced on a quarterly basis. 

SPTM was started in 4 October 2000 and Assets Under Management is USD5. 51 Billion.  It has a low expense ratio of 0.03% only.

SPTM Top 10 Holdings include Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Alphabet, Tesla, Nvidia, Berkshire Hathaway Class B and JP Morgan. The Total Top 10 Weighting is 26.21%.

SPTM Sector/Industry Breakdown comprises of Technology 33%, Consumer Cyclical 15%, Financials 14%, Healthcare 13%, Industrials 9.6%, Consumer Non Cyclical 5.55%, Basic Materials 2.71%, Energy 2.64%, Utilities 2.53% and Telecommunications 1.34%.

SPTM Region is 100% North America. 

Best of all SPTM pays Dividends quarterly.  

In the current volatile market SPTM is the answer to weather the storm and offers diversification into the US market at a low cost.

    only thing is this is US ticker which will take away 30% from the dividend payout.  otherwise what's there not to love?

      That's true.  To me I view this more as a growth ETF versus STI which is value ETF. Each ETF has a place in my portfolio. 😊👍😍

      I just came across SPTM and it is next on my list to buy.  Even in volatile markets, the movements will not be so extreme. It is almost like buying the best of the US companies!  Safety in numbers.
