 ICE car will be like the horse in the early 1900s. It will become more like a collectible or hobby or leisure sports. 

They are running out of cash to burn. Scaling is the most challenging part and this is one of the quickest way.

This battery changing thingy is stupid. The reason why NIO did this is due to the fact they do not have good battery technology! Can you imagine swapping ur new NIO car battery with a 3 year old battery that was used previously by another car? Come on.. setting this additional infrastucture is another cost. Did anyone check hw long they need need wait to change the battery? How abt the person in front of u?
