Over the last decade, the S&P 500 has generated a total return of 286%, meaning you could have tripled your money by simply investing in an exchange traded fund that tracks the popular index.

That said, greater rewards await savvy investors who are willing to research and build a diversified portfolio of individual stocks. For those interested in long-term growth, tech standouts HubSpot ( HUBS 3.21% ) and Okta ( OKTA -1.76% ) look like smart investments. Both have the potential to quadruple in value over the next 10 years, growing at a pace that would turn an initial investment of $250,000 split evenly between these stocks into a collective $1 million.

What makes these companies ready for such monster growth? Let's take a look.

HubSpot: Customer relationship management

HubSpot provides customer relationship management (CRM) software, offering tools that drive productivity across marketing, sales, customer service, and operations. The HubSpot app marketplace lists over 1,000 integrations that extend the functionality of its CRM suite, connecting with social media apps like Meta Platforms' Instagram, commerce software like Shopify, and email systems like Microsoft ( MSFT 1.64% ) Outlook.

Of course, HubSpot faces intense competition from other CRM vendors like Salesforce, which generated 20 times more revenue than HubSpot over the last 12 months. But HubSpot's advantage lies in the quickly growing marketing automation space, where it holds nearly 34% market share. For context, the marketing automation industry was worth $3.6 billion in 2020, and is expected to grow threefold in the next five years. That edge could certainly help HubSpot grow over the next decade. But more immediately, this advantage in marketing automation gives HubSpot a foothold in the broader CRM industry, allowing the company to execute its land-and-expand growth strategy.

As of fourth quarter 2021, 60% of customers use multiple HubSpot products, compared to 34% in 2017. This uptick in adoption has translated into strong financial results. In 2021, revenue rose 47% to $1.3 billion, and the company generated free cash flow of $203.3 million, up from $79.1 million the year prior. Analysts believe there's even more room for HubSpot to grow: Brad Sills of Bank of America Securities ( BAC 3.13% ) puts HubSpot's addressable market at $87 billion.

To that end, HubSpot continues to innovate and expand its capabilities. Last year, it partnered with Stripe to launch HubSpot Payments, a tool that streamlines sales by enabling digital payments directly through its CRM platform. HubSpot also launched Operations Hub, a software product that helps operations teams sync data between applications and automate various business processes.

Here's the bottom line: HubSpot helps its clients provide a great consumer experience across the entire customer lifecycle. That value proposition resonates with businesses in virtually every industry. More importantly, HubSpot has achieved a strong competitive position, especially in marketing automation software, and that tailwind should be a growth driver in the years ahead. In fact, I think this $23 billion business could grow fourfold to $92 billion over the next decade.

Okta: Cybersecurity

Okta helps organizations protect sensitive applications and data. Its primary offering, Okta Identity Cloud, is a suite of identity and access management (IAM) tools that securely connects users to necessary technologies. Okta uses artificial intelligence to continuously analyze contextual signals (such as user, device, and location) to score the risk associated with each sign-in attempt. Following this formula, the platform only authenticates and authorizes appropriate users. Given the growing need for cybersecurity -- the number of Internet of Things cyberattacks alone is expected to double by 2025 -- this stock looks like a prime candidate for fourfold returns.

Okta's technology is highly versatile and addresses both workforce and customer identity use cases. Okta Identity Cloud integrates with over 7,000 different software products and infrastructure providers. Okta also provides developer tools that allow clients to incorporate Okta technology into other applications. Unlike rivals such as Microsoft, Okta is infrastructure-agnostic; its identity tools aren't associated with a specific cloud vendor and the company has no incentive to push clients toward particular technologies. This neutrality gives Okta a significant edge, spurring Gartner and Forrester Research to recognize the company as a leader in the IAM space.

Those accolades came alongside solid financial performance. In the past year, revenue soared 56% to $1.3 billion, and the company generated positive free cash flow of $87 million. This free cash flow represents a 22% drop compared to the year prior, due in large part to expenses associated with Okta's acquisition of Auth0. However, that acquisition strengthens Okta's position in the customer identity space. While Okta already had an impressive ecosystem of pre-built integrations, Auth0's developer tools make its easy to embed IAM solutions into any application, including consumer-facing ones.

Last year, Okta announced the launch of two new products: Identity Governance, which simplifies reporting and automates workflows, and Privileged Access, which ensures heightened protection of highly valuable accounts. Collectively, these new products will strengthen Okta's position in the workforce identity space, pushing the company's addressable market to $80 billion. Both products are set to launch in first quarter 2022, and management will report on progress later in the year. For now, though, these announcements highlight Okta's ambitious growth strategy and underscore its commitment to industry expansion.

In short, Okta has carved out a leadership position in the IAM industry, and through acquisition and innovation, management is working to strengthen that position. More broadly, cybersecurity will only become more critical as the number of connected devices continues to proliferate. That's why I think this growth stock -- which currently has a market cap of $27 billion -- could grow fourfold to $108 billion over the next decade.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Want to Retire With $1 Million? The ARK Innovation ETF (NYSEMKT:ARKK) is down 38% off its all-time high and down 22% year to date.
\n
ARK and Wood invest in lots of high-growth tech stocks that have been battered this year, which is what's causing the fund's poor performance. Coinbase Global (NASDAQ:COIN), Shopify (NYSE:SHOP), and UiPath (NYSE:PATH) are some of Cathie Wood's favorites, and all are between 20% and 50% off their all-time highs. However, the fact that millions of dollars of their stock are sitting in Wood's ETFs should be indicative of their long-term potential. These companies are trading at bargain prices today, so you might want to consider putting them on your watchlist.
\n
Coinbase: A way to invest in crypto
\n
Coinbase is ARK Invest's third-largest holding, clocking in at a market value of $1.25 billion. Shares of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange have sunk like a stone recently, falling 32% off its all-time highs. However, this isn't fully indicative of business performance.
\n
With over $255 billion in assets across 100 different countries and 72 million users, Coinbase has become a cornerstone of the crypto economy as one of the leading, most trusted cryptocurrency exchanges. The company takes a cut of every purchase of crypto on the platform, so the rise in popularity of cryptocurrency has resulted in impressive revenue success. The company's revenue increased by over 330% year over year in Q3. With this, the company has also achieved impressive profitability: Coinbase brought almost one-third of its revenue to the bottom line.
\n
While its reliance on cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) has led to amazing growth recently, it's really a double-edged sword. The company makes money only on purchases of crypto, so in large-scale crypto sell-offs, the company is left stranded. This leaves Coinbase largely vulnerable to the winds of the crypto markets.
\n
With the recent sell-off of crypto and Bitcoin, Coinbase has followed suit -- falling to a valuation of just 22 times earnings. Whether this is justified or not, Coinbase will likely mimic the crypto market, and its success largely depends on the widespread adoption of crypto. Therefore, if you think that cryptocurrencies will skyrocket over the next decade, Coinbase could be a smart investment.
\n
UiPath: An AI pureplay
\n
While not as large as Coinbase, ARK ETFs hold over $1 billion of UiPath stock -- making it the sixth-largest holding across all of Wood's funds. UiPath is disrupting the way companies operate and handle tedious, repetitive tasks by normalizing the use of artificial intelligence and bots. The company has the vision to deliver a fully automated enterprise so that workers can optimize their efficiency, and the way the company is doing this has attracted companies like AutoDesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) and NASA.
\n
While UiPath's product sounds like a pie-in-the-sky dream, the company is more than real. It has over 9,600 customers and $818 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). With such dominance, UiPath has been named a market leader in the robotic process automation (RPA) market in Gartner's Magic Quadrant. As the leader, it has gained the trust and confidence of companies that might be wary of bringing automation and robots into the workplace.
\n
UiPath has lots of potential to grow. The company sees a $30 billion addressable opportunity by 2024, which would be immense growth from its current $818 million in ARR. UiPath might get some pushback along the way from those wary of integrating robots into the workplace, but its robots can provide efficiency improvements. The company has saved its customers millions of hours and dollars without putting workers' jobs on the line. UiPath is meant to work alongside human employees, and it has been successful in doing so.
\n
Shares have fallen drastically since it came public earlier this year, and that has provided a valuation that an appealing valuation public at 60 times sales, but it now trades at 22 times sales. Cathie Wood has taken the opportunity to buy more shares this December, and you might want to consider doing the same.
\n
Shopify: The rising e-commerce pick
\n
Shopify is farther down at the 11th-largest ARK position, but still represents $950 million worth of shares -- and for good reason. The company has doubled its gross merchandise volume (GMV) over the past 16 months, reaching $400 billion in cumulative GMV on its merchants' platforms in Q3. This has been because of the company's relentless focus on its customers' growth and success. This is unrivaled by competitors like Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), which have often stifled SMBs by noticing their success and then offering and promoting a self-developed product that competes with them directly.
\n
The company recently announced a new feature that would make international sales easier for merchants. Shopify Markets would allow companies to streamline global expansion -- something many Shopify users might never have thought possible. The company also has plans to roll out additional features over the next few years, with one of my personal favorites being Shopify Fulfillment. With this, users could access the fulfillment network that Shopify is building out and let the company pack and ship orders for them.
\n
This focus on customer success is truly unique, which is why the company demands a very high premium. The company trades at roughly 40 times sales, which is the highest valuation out of these three stocks. However, I also believe that Shopify is the highest-quality stock on this list. While all three of these stocks are appealing, Shopify has proven itself the most, and the company's expansion efforts beyond SMB look very promising. While there is more risk that share prices could continue dropping, I think it is worth paying up for high-quality companies, and Shopify fits that bill. Given the number of shares that Cathie Wood owns, I think she is in agreement.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
3 Bargain Stocks That Cathie Wood Loves
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n3 Bargain Stocks That Cathie Wood Loves\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-12-26 10:30 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
After an astounding 2020, the chief investment officer of ARK Invest and stock picker extraordinaire Cathie Wood has had a rough 2021. While all three of these stocks are appealing, Shopify has proven itself the most, and the company's expansion efforts beyond SMB look very promising. While there is more risk that share prices could continue dropping, I think it is worth paying up for high-quality companies, and Shopify fits that bill. Given the number of shares that Cathie Wood owns, I think she is in agreement.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":729,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":693792767,"gmtCreate":1640075211007,"gmtModify":1640075211441,"author":{"id":"3582157544208464","authorId":"3582157544208464","name":"tkkkkkkkkkk","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/324b8778a99b6139eca542152f970355","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy ","listText":"Buy ","text":"Buy","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/693792767","repostId":"1112391676","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1112391676","pubTimestamp":1640056217,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1112391676?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-21 11:10","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple Stock: If You're Buying the Dip, Here's What You Need to Know","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1112391676","media":"TheStreet","summary":"Bargain hunters may start to consider buying Apple stock on the dip, following the December selloff. Apple’s current $2.61 trillion market cap edges out Microsoft’s (MSFT) $2.58 trillion valuation.
\n
The stock is now working on its sixth straight daily gain.
\n
Wedbush analysts added to the bullishness today. They named Apple their top FAANG pick for 2022, while setting abullish price target on the Nasdaq.
\n
In January, April and July, Apple blew the roof off with its earnings results. Yet the stock didn’t reward shareholders.
\n
In the first two instances, Apple stock reversed hard. In both of those instances though, trend support held where it needed to. In the third instance, the prior all-time high near $145 ultimately held as support.
\n
Apple has been a rewarding holding over the past year, but it’s also been frustrating for some investors. Apple’s current $2.61 trillion market cap edges out Microsoft’s (MSFT) $2.58 trillion valuation.\nThe stock is now working on its sixth straight daily gain.\nWedbush analysts added to the bullishness today. They named Apple their top FAANG pick for 2022, while setting abullish price target on the Nasdaq.\nIn January, April and July, Apple blew the roof off with its earnings results. Yet the stock didn’t reward shareholders.\nIn the first two instances, Apple stock reversed hard. In both of those instances though, trend support held where it needed to. In the third instance, the prior all-time high near $145 ultimately held as support.\nApple has been a rewarding holding over the past year, but it’s also been frustrating for some investors. Another person who was at the event confirmed Branson’s comments to CNBC.\nA Virgin Galactic spokesperson in a statement said the company has “not confirmed the details for the Unity 23 manifest at this time.” Whitesides did not respond to CNBC’s requests for comment.\nWhitesides was Virgin Galactic’s CEO from 2010 to 2020, before shifting to a role as the company’s chief space officer last year when the company brought on Michael Colglazier as CEO. He now chairs Virgin Galactic’s space advisory board.\nGarver says Whitesides was the only member of the next crew who Branson mentioned at the celebration, with three more people expected to join the spaceflight.\nThe launch’s timing is yet unknown, but Virgin Galactic has previously said it aimed to complete its next two spaceflight tests this summer. There was a 50-day gap between Virgin Galactic’s last two spaceflights, so Whitesides’ launch may happen in late August or early September if the company takes a similar amount of time to prepare.\nShares of Virgin Galactic slid 4% in trading on Friday to close at $29.58.\nVirgin Galactic has launched four test spaceflights to date, with its most recent, called Unity 22, carrying its billionaire founder. The company’s leadership previously announced that it would fly two more tests of spacecraft VSS Unity, with the first carrying another four “mission specialists” and the second flying members of the Italian Air Force.\nThe company’s spacecraft VSS Unity was designed to carry six passengers — in addition to two pilots — but the vehicle is now outfitted to carry four, with Virgin Galactic confirming that its spaceflight with Branson represented a “fully crewed” launch.\nVirgin Galactic is conducting the spaceflight tests as the final step in developing its vehicle, with the goal of beginning passenger flights in early 2022. The company has about 600 reservations for tickets on future flights.\nSince Branson’s flight, the stock has slid from highs near $55 a share to trade near $30 a share. The drop in part came following Virgin Galactic’s announcement the day after Branson’s spaceflight that it filed to sell up to $500 million in common stock.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":271,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":605155530,"gmtCreate":1639134079948,"gmtModify":1639134080384,"author":{"id":"3582157544208464","authorId":"3582157544208464","name":"tkkkkkkkkkk","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/324b8778a99b6139eca542152f970355","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Its a falling knife so trade wisely","listText":"Its a falling knife so trade wisely","text":"Its a falling knife so trade wisely","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/605155530","repostId":"1133845166","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1133845166","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1639130022,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1133845166?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-10 17:53","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Grab shares dropped another 2% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1133845166","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Grab shares dropped another 2% in premarket trading. The stock fell more than 9% yesterday.","content":"
Grab shares dropped another 2% in premarket trading. The stock fell more than 9% yesterday.
\n

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; The ARK Innovation ETF (NYSEMKT:ARKK) is down 38% off its all-time high and down 22% year to date.
These companies are trading at bargain prices today, so you might want to consider putting them on your watchlist.\nCoinbase: A way to invest in crypto\nCoinbase is ARK Invest's third-largest holding, clocking in at a market value of $1.25 billion. Shares of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange have sunk like a stone recently, falling 32% off its all-time highs. However, this isn't fully indicative of business performance.\nWith over $255 billion in assets across 100 different countries and 72 million users, Coinbase has become a cornerstone of the crypto economy as one of the leading, most trusted cryptocurrency exchanges. The company takes a cut of every purchase of crypto on the platform, so the rise in popularity of cryptocurrency has resulted in impressive revenue success. The company's revenue increased by over 330% year over year in Q3. With this, the company has also achieved impressive profitability: Coinbase brought almost one-third of its revenue to the bottom line.\nWhile its reliance on cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) has led to amazing growth recently, it's really a double-edged sword. The company makes money only on purchases of crypto, so in large-scale crypto sell-offs, the company is left stranded. This leaves Coinbase largely vulnerable to the winds of the crypto markets.\nWith the recent sell-off of crypto and Bitcoin, Coinbase has followed suit -- falling to a valuation of just 22 times earnings. Whether this is justified or not, Coinbase will likely mimic the crypto market, and its success largely depends on the widespread adoption of crypto. Therefore, if you think that cryptocurrencies will skyrocket over the next decade, Coinbase could be a smart investment.\nUiPath: An AI pureplay\nWhile not as large as Coinbase, ARK ETFs hold over $1 billion of UiPath stock -- making it the sixth-largest holding across all of Wood's funds. UiPath is disrupting the way companies operate and handle tedious, repetitive tasks by normalizing the use of artificial intelligence and bots. The company has the vision to deliver a fully automated enterprise so that workers can optimize their efficiency, and the way the company is doing this has attracted companies like AutoDesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) and NASA.\nWhile UiPath's product sounds like a pie-in-the-sky dream, the company is more than real. It has over 9,600 customers and $818 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). With such dominance, UiPath has been named a market leader in the robotic process automation (RPA) market in Gartner's Magic Quadrant. As the leader, it has gained the trust and confidence of companies that might be wary of bringing automation and robots into the workplace.\nUiPath has lots of potential to grow. UiPath is meant to work alongside human employees, and it has been successful in doing so.\nShares have fallen drastically since it came public earlier this year, and that has provided a valuation that an appealing valuation public at 60 times sales, but it now trades at 22 times sales. Cathie Wood has taken the opportunity to buy more shares this December, and you might want to consider doing the same.\nShopify: The rising e-commerce pick\nShopify is farther down at the 11th-largest ARK position, but still represents $950 million worth of shares -- and for good reason. The company has doubled its gross merchandise volume (GMV) over the past 16 months, reaching $400 billion in cumulative GMV on its merchants' platforms in Q3. This has been because of the company's relentless focus on its customers' growth and success. This is unrivaled by competitors like Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), which have often stifled SMBs by noticing their success and then offering and promoting a self-developed product that competes with them directly.\nThe company recently announced a new feature that would make international sales easier for merchants. Shopify Markets would allow companies to streamline global expansion -- something many Shopify users might never have thought possible. The company also has plans to roll out additional features over the next few years, with one of my personal favorites being Shopify Fulfillment. With this, users could access the fulfillment network that Shopify is building out and let the company pack and ship orders for them.\nThis focus on customer success is truly unique, which is why the company demands a very high premium. Given the number of shares that Cathie Wood owns, I think she is in agreement.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":729,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":602525795,"gmtCreate":1639044662559,"gmtModify":1639044662951,"author":{"id":"3582157544208464","authorId":"3582157544208464","name":"tkkkkkkkkkk","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/324b8778a99b6139eca542152f970355","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Valuable brand","listText":"Valuable brand","text":"Valuable brand","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/602525795","repostId":"2189664498","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":873,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":174574294,"gmtCreate":1627118128118,"gmtModify":1633767806928,"author":{"id":"3582157544208464","authorId":"3582157544208464","name":"tkkkkkkkkkk","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/324b8778a99b6139eca542152f970355","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[保佑] ","listText":"[保佑] ","text":"[保佑]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/174574294","repostId":"1103271267","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":271,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":697107195,"gmtCreate":1642335214990,"gmtModify":1642335215467,"author":{"id":"3582157544208464","authorId":"3582157544208464","name":"tkkkkkkkkkk","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/324b8778a99b6139eca542152f970355","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ goes down everyday except when announce car delivery statistics.
