From its low point in mid-March 2020 until today, the S&P 500 has doubled in value. And despite some undercurrents of worry -- supply chain issues, anyone? -- this bull market looks like it still has legs.
\n
Case in point: Based on analysts' projections, the e-commerce powerhouse and the cybersecurity up-and-comer I'll discuss below both have the potential for significant share price gains in 2021 and beyond.
\n
\n
Amazon
\n
Let this sink in: Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), which is valued at almost $1.7 trillion and generated revenue of $367 billion in 2020, is still expected to grow sales at nearly 17% each year for the next five years. If it maintains that growth rate, it would only take one more year beyond that for the company to achieve $1 trillion in annual revenue.
\n
Net income of $21 billion last year was nearly double what it was in 2019, and analysts expect it to grow four-fold over the next five years. Amazon has become an unstoppable juggernaut, and while its retail businesses remain its best known, they are not the only drivers of its growth.
\n
As much as its e-commerce operations are the top online shopping destination in North America, its cloud computing arm, Amazon Web Services (AWS), is the undeniable leader in cloud infrastructure with the largest share of the market.
\n
Based on its performances for the first six months of 2021, AWS is on pace to reach full-year revenues of more than $56 billion, up 33% from last year. It's the key generator of Amazon's operating cash income, despite only accounting for an eighth of total sales. It remains Amazon's most profitable segment, accounting for 59% of total earnings.
\n
On top of this, eMarketer says Amazon will account for $4 of every $10 spent online in the U.S. this year. The combination of these factors and others is why Wall Street analysts have set a one-year average price target of $4,177 per share for Amazon -- more than 22% above where it trades today. That should earn the e-commerce giant a spot near the top of any list of growth stocks investors might be considering for purchase.
\n
\n
Crowdstrike
\n
Industry professionals say 2021 could break some records as far as data breaches as concerned; through the third quarter of the year, more than 280 million people's data had been compromised. That's why Crowdstrike (NASDAQ:CRWD) is such an essential business, and also an excellent stock to consider adding to your portfolio.
\n
Crowdstrike's technology uses sophisticated artificial intelligence, behavioral analysis, and machine learning to detect and thwart cybersecurity risks, processing trillions of events each and every week through its Falcon platform. More importantly, the more data it processes, the smarter and more effective that platform gets, allowing it to recognize and respond to potential threats more quickly.
\n
Its business is growing rapidly. Crowdstrike's subscriber base has expanded from 450 clients to over 13,000 in less than five years. From its low point in mid-March 2020 until today, the S&P 500 has doubled in value. And despite some undercurrents of worry -- supply chain issues, anyone? -- this bull market looks like it still has legs.\nCase in point: Based on analysts' projections, the e-commerce powerhouse and the cybersecurity up-and-comer I'll discuss below both have the potential for significant share price gains in 2021 and beyond.\nIMAGE SOURCE: GETTY IMAGES\nAmazon\nLet this sink in: Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), which is valued at almost $1.7 trillion and generated revenue of $367 billion in 2020, is still expected to grow sales at nearly 17% each year for the next five years. If it maintains that growth rate, it would only take one more year beyond that for the company to achieve $1 trillion in annual revenue.\nNet income of $21 billion last year was nearly double what it was in 2019, and analysts expect it to grow four-fold over the next five years. Amazon has become an unstoppable juggernaut, and while its retail businesses remain its best known, they are not the only drivers of its growth.\nAs much as its e-commerce operations are the top online shopping destination in North America, its cloud computing arm, Amazon Web Services (AWS), is the undeniable leader in cloud infrastructure with the largest share of the market.\nBased on its performances for the first six months of 2021, AWS is on pace to reach full-year revenues of more than $56 billion, up 33% from last year. It's the key generator of Amazon's operating cash income, despite only accounting for an eighth of total sales. It remains Amazon's most profitable segment, accounting for 59% of total earnings.\nOn top of this, eMarketer says Amazon will account for $4 of every $10 spent online in the U.S. this year. The combination of these factors and others is why Wall Street analysts have set a one-year average price target of $4,177 per share for Amazon -- more than 22% above where it trades today. That should earn the e-commerce giant a spot near the top of any list of growth stocks investors might be considering for purchase.\nIMAGE SOURCE: GETTY IMAGES\nCrowdstrike\nIndustry professionals say 2021 could break some records as far as data breaches as concerned; through the third quarter of the year, more than 280 million people's data had been compromised. That's why Crowdstrike (NASDAQ:CRWD) is such an essential business, and also an excellent stock to consider adding to your portfolio.\nCrowdstrike's technology uses sophisticated artificial intelligence, behavioral analysis, and machine learning to detect and thwart cybersecurity risks, processing trillions of events each and every week through its Falcon platform. More importantly, the more data it processes, the smarter and more effective that platform gets, allowing it to recognize and respond to potential threats more quickly.\nIts business is growing rapidly. Crowdstrike's subscriber base has expanded from 450 clients to over 13,000 in less than five years. And almost all of its customers renew their subscriptions.\nCrowdstrike leans heavily on Falcon because the cloud-based cybersecurity solution is often more effective and cheaper to operate than on-premises security products.\nWall Street recognizes the potential of early-mover status in the cloud security space. Analysts have forecast that Crowdstrike's revenue will grow at a compound annual rate of 37% over the next several years, and expect that from an operating loss of $87 million last year, it will transition to a $977 million profit by 2026. Earnings per share are expected to grow by 73% annually over the next five years.\nHackers are like cockroaches in that, if you see one, there are probably hundreds more hiding nearby. It's an unfortunate fact of modern life that our personal and corporate information is so vulnerable to these bad actors, but that also means that cybersecurity companies like Crowdstrike will have a never-ending supply of customers in need of technological aid to safeguard that data.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":727,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":826942428,"gmtCreate":1633968731298,"gmtModify":1633968731298,"author":{"id":"3581223392197361","authorId":"3581223392197361","name":"Mikaelocw","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b3e8a5faf492b06ffc4615e2014a0a51","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like and comment pls","listText":"Like and comment pls","text":"Like and comment pls","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/826942428","repostId":"2174120900","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2174120900","pubTimestamp":1633966203,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2174120900?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-10-11 23:30","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Top Growth Stocks I'd Buy Right Now Without Hesitation","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2174120900","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Not every stock is capable of shrugging off a sweeping headwind that works against the broad market, but a few growth names are.","content":"
The stock market may look like it's coming out of its September slump and starting its usual year-end bullishness. The article implies that the risk of myocarditis following inoculation with mRNA-1273 can be more than previously thought and is also higher than Pfizer/BioNTech SE’s mRNA-based vaccine, BNT162b.
\n
Per the same Washington Post article, the claims of higher risk of myocarditis, especially for males below the age of 30 or so, following Moderna’s jab are majorly based on data from Canada. The same data suggests that vaccination with mRNA-1273 may increase the risk of incidence of myocarditis by 2.5-fold compared to BNT162b. U.S. health officials are currently reviewing the data as well as data generated in the United States for a possible link to higher risk of heart inflammation. The report stated that the officials believe it is too early to conclude and issue any kind of new or revised warning or recommendation for mRNA-1273.
\n
We note that Pfizer’s BNT162b is already leading the vaccination race with $11.3 billion sales in the first half of 2021 compared to nearly $6 billion of sales from mRNA-1273. Moreover, the anticipated sales for 2021 for BNT162b and mRNA-1273 stands at $33.5 billion and approximately $19.2 billion, respectively.
\n
Meanwhile, U.S. health officials have decided to start providing booster doses to the country’s citizens beginning in the first week of fall that will start on Sep 20. Amid rising support for booster doses for better protection against the Delta variant, the potential link to higher risk of heart inflammation may hurt demand for Moderna’s mRNA-1273, pushing it further back in the competition. Moreover, a few new COVID-19 vaccines may enter the U.S. markets this year, which will result in increased competition.
\n
Shares of Moderna fell 5.8% on Aug 19, following the reports on probe for higher risk of heart inflammation. However, similar inflammation cases were not reported following vaccination with J&J’s JNJ adenovirus-based COVID-19 vaccine. Following the investigation, the labels of both mRNA-based vaccines were updated to include a warning label for increased risk of myocarditis.
\n
Meanwhile, the United States is not the only country to probe various risks with possible links to mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines. Earlier this month, the European Medicines Agency initiated an investigation to study three new conditions found in a small proportion of individuals receiving mRNA-based vaccination. What started out as a joke has enabled some to laugh all the way to the bank.
\n
On the other hand, skeptics about Dogecoin would be just as quick to note that it has given up more than 60% of its earlier gains. Anyone who jumped on the Dogecoin late is probably sitting on some hefty losses.
\n
Regardless of what your take is on Dogecoin, what really matters is where you should put your money now. One place to get some investment ideas is Robinhood's 100 most popular stocks list. Here are two popular Robinhood stocks that could crush Dogecoin going forward.
\n
\n
NVIDIA
\n
While Dogecoin has nosedived in recent months, NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has taken off. One reason why is NVIDIA's upcoming four-for-one stock split. While stock splits don't impact a company's valuation directly, they can attract greater numbers of small investors.
\n
However, there are plenty of even better reasons to like NVIDIA that have nothing to do with its stock split. The most obvious one is the company's gaming business.
\n
Gaming remains NVIDIA's biggest moneymaker, generating $2.8 billion of the company's total revenue of nearly $5.7 billion in the first quarter of 2021. And business is booming. NVIDIA's gaming revenue more than doubled year over year.
\n
It isn't just that gaming is increasing in popularity (although that is the case). NVIDIA benefits from regular hardware upgrade cycles. New games require even more processing power, which drives demand for the more powerful graphics processing units (GPUs).
\n
I especially like that NVIDIA is leveraging its gaming expertise to target new markets. For example, the company recently unveiled Omniverse Enterprise, a platform where design teams can build 3D virtual simulations and collaborate in real-time. In effect, NVIDIA is turning work into play (or vice versa, depending on how you look at it).
\n
NVIDIA CFO Colette Kress said in the company's Q1 conference call, \"As the world becomes more digital, virtual and collaborative, we see a significant revenue opportunity for Omniverse.\" I think that Kress's optimism is well-founded.
\n
Don't overlook NVIDIA's potential in the data center market, though. The company posted data center revenue of more than $2 billion in Q1, up 79% year over year. NVIDIA should enjoy sustained growth as more applications include artificial intelligence (AI).
\n
Assuming NVIDIA's pending acquisition of Arm passes regulatory hurdles, the company should further cement its leadership position in AI. In particular, the Arm deal would boost NVIDIA's presence in the fast-growing Internet of Things market with chips for mobile devices.
\n
Sure, an overall cryptocurrency crash could cause NVIDIA's shares to fall due to the popularity of the company's GPUs with crypto miners. It's happened before. However, the company has taken steps to segment its gaming business from crypto. I think that any pullback would only be temporary. NVIDIA has too many other strong growth drivers.
\n
Moderna
\n
Most companies can't honestly say that they've helped change the world. Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) can.
\n
The biotech's COVID-19 vaccine was second only to the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech to win U.S. Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Moderna reported $1.9 billion in sales for the vaccine in Q1, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
\n
Based on supply agreements in place as of early May, Moderna projected that its COVID-19 vaccine would rake in sales this year of $19.2 billion. However, the company has secured additional deals since then.
\n
In just the past two weeks, Moderna has landed two new huge supply agreements. The U.S. government is buying 200 million additional doses of Moderna's COVID19 vaccine. The European Commission agreed to purchase another 150 million doses.
\n
But does Moderna's market cap of close to $90 billion already price all of this growth in? To some extent, yes. However, shares still are trading at only around 10.5 times expected earnings. That's an attractive valuation, especially for a biotech stock.
\n
The big question for Moderna is how strong the recurring revenue from its COVID-19 vaccine will be. While the sales levels of 2021 and 2022 might not be sustainable over the long run, annual vaccinations could be likely (especially with emerging coronavirus variants). I expect Moderna will be able to count on significant COVID-19 vaccine sales for years to come.
\n
Then there's the pipeline. Moderna plans to advance its cytomegalovirus (CMV) vaccine into late-stage testing this year. It could easily be a megablockbuster if approved. The company has a dozen other programs in clinical testing.
\n
Moderna hopes to use its newfound riches to dramatically boost its pipeline in the near future. CEO Stephane Bancel has stated that he'd like to have up to 50 clinical programs.
\n
All of Moderna's current and planned pipeline programs are based on its messenger RNA (mRNA) technology. The company has maintained for a long time that if its mRNA approach worked for one disease, it would work for many diseases. What started out as a joke has enabled some to laugh all the way to the bank.\nOn the other hand, skeptics about Dogecoin would be just as quick to note that it has given up more than 60% of its earlier gains. Anyone who jumped on the Dogecoin late is probably sitting on some hefty losses.\nRegardless of what your take is on Dogecoin, what really matters is where you should put your money now. One place to get some investment ideas is Robinhood's 100 most popular stocks list. Here are two popular Robinhood stocks that could crush Dogecoin going forward.\nImage source: Getty Images.\nNVIDIA\nWhile Dogecoin has nosedived in recent months, NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock has taken off. One reason why is NVIDIA's upcoming four-for-one stock split. While stock splits don't impact a company's valuation directly, they can attract greater numbers of small investors.\nHowever, there are plenty of even better reasons to like NVIDIA that have nothing to do with its stock split. The most obvious one is the company's gaming business.\nGaming remains NVIDIA's biggest moneymaker, generating $2.8 billion of the company's total revenue of nearly $5.7 billion in the first quarter of 2021. And business is booming. NVIDIA's gaming revenue more than doubled year over year.\nIt isn't just that gaming is increasing in popularity (although that is the case). NVIDIA benefits from regular hardware upgrade cycles. New games require even more processing power, which drives demand for the more powerful graphics processing units (GPUs).\nI especially like that NVIDIA is leveraging its gaming expertise to target new markets. For example, the company recently unveiled Omniverse Enterprise, a platform where design teams can build 3D virtual simulations and collaborate in real-time. In effect, NVIDIA is turning work into play (or vice versa, depending on how you look at it).\nNVIDIA CFO Colette Kress said in the company's Q1 conference call, \"As the world becomes more digital, virtual and collaborative, we see a significant revenue opportunity for Omniverse.\" I think that Kress's optimism is well-founded.\nDon't overlook NVIDIA's potential in the data center market, though. The company posted data center revenue of more than $2 billion in Q1, up 79% year over year. NVIDIA should enjoy sustained growth as more applications include artificial intelligence (AI).\nAssuming NVIDIA's pending acquisition of Arm passes regulatory hurdles, the company should further cement its leadership position in AI. In particular, the Arm deal would boost NVIDIA's presence in the fast-growing Internet of Things market with chips for mobile devices.\nSure, an overall cryptocurrency crash could cause NVIDIA's shares to fall due to the popularity of the company's GPUs with crypto miners. It's happened before. However, the company has taken steps to segment its gaming business from crypto. I think that any pullback would only be temporary. NVIDIA has too many other strong growth drivers.\nModerna\nMost companies can't honestly say that they've helped change the world. Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) can.\nThe biotech's COVID-19 vaccine was second only to the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech to win U.S. Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). Moderna reported $1.9 billion in sales for the vaccine in Q1, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.\nBased on supply agreements in place as of early May, Moderna projected that its COVID-19 vaccine would rake in sales this year of $19.2 billion. However, the company has secured additional deals since then.\nIn just the past two weeks, Moderna has landed two new huge supply agreements. The U.S. government is buying 200 million additional doses of Moderna's COVID19 vaccine. The European Commission agreed to purchase another 150 million doses.\nBut does Moderna's market cap of close to $90 billion already price all of this growth in? To some extent, yes. However, shares still are trading at only around 10.5 times expected earnings. That's an attractive valuation, especially for a biotech stock.\nThe big question for Moderna is how strong the recurring revenue from its COVID-19 vaccine will be. While the sales levels of 2021 and 2022 might not be sustainable over the long run, annual vaccinations could be likely (especially with emerging coronavirus variants). I expect Moderna will be able to count on significant COVID-19 vaccine sales for years to come.\nThen there's the pipeline. Moderna plans to advance its cytomegalovirus (CMV) vaccine into late-stage testing this year. It could easily be a megablockbuster if approved. The company has a dozen other programs in clinical testing.\nModerna hopes to use its newfound riches to dramatically boost its pipeline in the near future. CEO Stephane Bancel has stated that he'd like to have up to 50 clinical programs.\nAll of Moderna's current and planned pipeline programs are based on its messenger RNA (mRNA) technology. The company has maintained for a long time that if its mRNA approach worked for one disease, it would work for many diseases. If Moderna is right, the biotech stock should be a massive winner over the long run -- and could very well crush Dogecoin.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1102,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":855860073,"gmtCreate":1635349917264,"gmtModify":1635349917393,"author":{"id":"3581223392197361","authorId":"3581223392197361","name":"Mikaelocw","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b3e8a5faf492b06ffc4615e2014a0a51","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Please like ","listText":"Please like ","text":"Please like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":8,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/855860073","repostId":"1187905821","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":337,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":826942428,"gmtCreate":1633968731298,"gmtModify":1633968731298,"author":{"id":"3581223392197361","authorId":"3581223392197361","name":"Mikaelocw","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b3e8a5faf492b06ffc4615e2014a0a51","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like and comment pls","listText":"Like and comment pls","text":"Like and comment pls","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/826942428","repostId":"2174120900","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2174120900","pubTimestamp":1633966203,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2174120900?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-10-11 23:30","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Top Growth Stocks I'd Buy Right Now Without Hesitation","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2174120900","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Not every stock is capable of shrugging off a sweeping headwind that works against the broad market, but a few growth names are.","content":"
The stock market may look like it's coming out of its September slump and starting its usual year-end bullishness. SolarEdge's projected revenue growth of 35% this year and 30% next year are plenty plausible and shouldn't be derailed by any economic turbulence.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":578,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":872015394,"gmtCreate":1637374828102,"gmtModify":1637374828187,"author":{"id":"3581223392197361","authorId":"3581223392197361","name":"Mikaelocw","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b3e8a5faf492b06ffc4615e2014a0a51","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like pls","listText":"Like pls","text":"Like pls","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/872015394","repostId":"1113013707","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":293,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":836586053,"gmtCreate":1629507437272,"gmtModify":1631890225235,"author":{"id":"3581223392197361","authorId":"3581223392197361","name":"Mikaelocw","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b3e8a5faf492b06ffc4615e2014a0a51","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like [龇牙] ","listText":"Like [龇牙] ","text":"Like [龇牙]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/836586053","repostId":"2160710721","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":454,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":856202528,"gmtCreate":1635178221911,"gmtModify":1635178222004,"author":{"id":"3581223392197361","authorId":"3581223392197361","name":"Mikaelocw","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b3e8a5faf492b06ffc4615e2014a0a51","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like please","listText":"Like please","text":"Like please","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/856202528","repostId":"1124896858","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":482,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":853443798,"gmtCreate":1634831408241,"gmtModify":1634831456817,"author":{"id":"3581223392197361","authorId":"3581223392197361","name":"Mikaelocw","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/b3e8a5faf492b06ffc4615e2014a0a51","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like pls","listText":"Like pls","text":"Like pls","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/853443798","repostId":"2176048249","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2176048249","pubTimestamp":1634734174,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2176048249?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-10-20 20:49","market":"us","language":"en","title":"2 Leading Growth Stocks to Buy in 2021 and Beyond","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2176048249","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"This pair of tech stocks are poised for more growth.","content":"
The meteoric rise of the stock market over these past 18 months has been remarkable.
