Lizzie Borden was acquitted of the ax murders of her father and stepmother. A fresh, one-pound beef steak cost 10 cents.
\n
Panic Of 1893:On May 5, 1893, the Dow Jones Index dropped more than 24% from 39.90 to 30.02. It would mark the worst intraday sell-off in U.S. history at the time, a record that would stand until 1929.
\n
The Panic of 1893 was triggered in part by falling gold reserves in the U.S. Treasury. At the time, the U.S. was on the gold standard, meaning U.S. dollars could be redeemed for physical gold. When Treasury gold reserves dropped from $190 million in 1890 to $100 million by 1893, Americans grew concerned that the Treasury might run out of gold and began withdrawing bank notes and converting them to gold, placing extreme strain on the U.S. banking industry and credit markets.
\n
The May 5 sell-off was triggered in part by the bankruptcy of Nation Cordage the day before.General Electric CompanyGE 0.34%shares dropped 28% on the day from $80 to $58.
\n
Fortunately for investors, the Panic of 1893 didn’t last for long. By the end of the day, the market nearly completely recovered its losses. Lizzie Borden was acquitted of the ax murders of her father and stepmother. A fresh, one-pound beef steak cost 10 cents.\nPanic Of 1893:On May 5, 1893, the Dow Jones Index dropped more than 24% from 39.90 to 30.02. It would mark the worst intraday sell-off in U.S. history at the time, a record that would stand until 1929.\nThe Panic of 1893 was triggered in part by falling gold reserves in the U.S. Treasury. At the time, the U.S. was on the gold standard, meaning U.S. dollars could be redeemed for physical gold. When Treasury gold reserves dropped from $190 million in 1890 to $100 million by 1893, Americans grew concerned that the Treasury might run out of gold and began withdrawing bank notes and converting them to gold, placing extreme strain on the U.S. banking industry and credit markets.\nThe May 5 sell-off was triggered in part by the bankruptcy of Nation Cordage the day before.General Electric CompanyGE 0.34%shares dropped 28% on the day from $80 to $58.\nFortunately for investors, the Panic of 1893 didn’t last for long. By the end of the day, the market nearly completely recovered its losses. GE, for example, closed the session at $78.50.\nThe Panic of 1893 would ravage the U.S. economy, triggering a severe four-year depression. Companies in the industry generate $180 billion in annual revenue worldwide. When compared with other entertainment sectors, that's bigger than the film industry ($100 billion) and the sports industry ($75 billion) combined. While gaming hardware being sold by Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo makes up a significant percentage of that revenue, the vast majority (roughly $167 billion) is related to software sales.

There are numerous software companies in this sector, many of them private. Among the highly successful public companies on the software side are names like Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Take-Two Interactive, and Ubisoft.

Two video game-related investments I particularly like are Sea Limited (NYSE:SE) and Unity Software (NYSE:U). Here's why.

1. Sea Limited is a platform company

When Sea first began, it was a video gaming company called Garena, short for \"Gaming Arena.\" It's a virtual place to play and watch video games across southeast Asia (and now South America as well). The most famous video game the company introduced is Free Fire, a battle royale mobile game. It's a free game, but many addicted customers spend within the game anyway, buying additional weapons or character improvements. That's why Sea's \"free game\" brought in more than $2 billion in revenue in 2020.

As CEO Forrest Li said on a conference call, \"Free Fire was once again a key driver of Garena's outperformance. According to App Annie, it continues to be the highest-grossing mobile game in Latin America and Southeast Asia in the fourth quarter, as well as the full year of 2020. It has maintained the top ranking for six consecutive quarters.\"

The popularity of the game continues to astound. As Li put it, \"We're also pleased to share that Free Fire was once again the most downloaded mobile game in the world in 2020, according to App Annie. This is the second year in a row that Free Fire was ranked first globally.\"

One major difference between Sea and all its competitors is when these companies were founded. Li created Sea in 2009, which is important because it's after the introduction of the iPhone in 2007. Not surprisingly, Sea has always focused on mobile games. The major American (and French) games companies were all started back in the 20th century, and have always focused on creating games for the various hardware platforms. They have been late to the mobile revolution, and have been trying to play catch-up, mostly by acquisition.

Software company

Year founded

Activision

1979

Entertainment Arts

1982

Ubisoft

1986

Blizzard

1991

Take-Two Interactive

1993

Sea Limited

2009

Founding dates based on reporting from Wikipedia. (Activision and Blizzard merged in 2008.)

Sea has had a major head start in mobile games, which is its killer advantage. As Motley Fool Rulebreaker fans would say, the company was a first mover in an important, emerging industry. But what's really killing the competition is how Sea took advantage of its head start and locked in its popularity with its mobile audience, using the revenue generated to fund expansion into new revenue opportunities such as opening up an e-commerce site, Shopee, and creating a mobile payments platform, Sea Money. Now the network effect is helping to cement its position as the top internet company in Southeast Asia.

2. Unity Software is a distributor, not a developer

Unlike Sea and the rest of the software brigade, Unity Software does not develop any video games itself. Instead, Unity provides a suite of advanced software tools to help other companies more efficiently create video games. Unity also provides distribution for smaller studios that create fun games for our smartphones. Unity enjoys a duopoly with competitor Epic Games in that regard.

While Epic Games is best known publicly for its popular Fortnite game, in the industry Epic is best known for its Unreal engine, the software that competes with Unity in providing tools for game developers. While Unreal is known for its high-end computer graphics, Unity's focus has been on simpler tools that do the same thing. Because of its simplicity, Unity is generally winning on the mobile side. In the fourth quarter, Unity management reported that 71% of the top 1,000 mobile games were made on its platform. That's amazing dominance in mobile, the fastest-growing segment of the gaming industry.

As a distributor, Unity will make a lot of money in the gaming industry with much less risk than content creators face. Studios can spend millions of dollars introducing a new game and quickly go out of business if the game fails to achieve any popularity. A distributor like Unity makes its profits as the entire industry advances, earning a share of all sales from the games using its platform, whether they succeed or not.

It's the platform, in other words, that gives Unity its killer advantage. And this platform also has a powerful moat. Software developers are trained on specific tools. For a new threat to Unity to emerge, the technological advance would have to be so amazing that industry veterans would spend the time to \"go back to school\" and learn a whole new system. Right now, most software developers have a favorite between Unity and Epic's Unreal. Some are equally adept with both technologies. But few would be interested in spending months learning a third system unless they really had to do it.

What makes Unity a particularly exciting investment is that it's the leading software engine in the creation of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) games. While this is a tiny segment of the industry right now, it's expected to be massive in the next decade or two because its applications stretch beyond just gaming. For instance, Autodesk is now using Unity's tools in the architecture vertical, and Volkswagen used Unity's software to build an online showroom for its automobiles.

Investor takeaway

While there will be many winners in the gaming industry, Sea Limited and Unity are particularly strong investments because these companies enjoy powerful network effects. Indeed, both of these companies are so strong right now that they are using their leadership roles in gaming software in order to seize market share in other industries as well. That will help these stocks reward investors for many years to come.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
2 Gaming Stocks That Have a Killer Advantage
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n2 Gaming Stocks That Have a Killer Advantage\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-05-05 20:45 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
The video gaming industry is probably bigger than you think it is. And it could play out within three months, warns widely followed Deutsche Bank Chief Strategist Binky Chadha.
\n
\"Very near term, we expect equities to continue to be well supported by the acceleration in macro growth, and see buying by systematic strategies and buybacks driving a grind higher. But we expect a significant consolidation (-6% to -10%) as growth peaks over the next three months,\" Chadha wrote in a new research note on Tuesday.
\n
Chadha calls out peaking ISM data — which has been coming in hot of late — as the potential trigger point for a steep market pullback.
\n
\"Our house economics forecast implies a flattening out of the ISMs at elevated levels beginning in Q2 (64) and continuing into Q3 (63). There are a number of considerations though that suggest the monthly ISMs peak more sharply over the next three months and slow in keeping with the historical inverted-V shaped pattern. We look for discretionary investor equity positioning to be pared with a peak in the ISMs and do not expect retail to buy the dip. We then see equities rallying back as our baseline remains for strong growth but only a gradual and modest rise in inflation,\" explains Chadha.
\n
Thus far, investors are hardly positioned for any sizable spring/early summer swoon in stocks — with good reason as the economic data has been impressive.
\n
TheU.S. economy created 916,000 jobs in March, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported last week. That crushed Wall Street estimates for a 660,000 increase. The gain has some economic forecasters tellingYahoo Finance Livethe economy could be on the verge of creating a million jobs a month very soon.
\n
Meanwhile, data fromIHS Markitand theInstitute for Supply Managementon activity in the services sector on Monday blew the doors off analyst estimates as the ISM's activity index surged to a record high, as Yahoo Finance's Myles Udland wrote in theMorning Briefnewsletter. And it could play out within three months, warns widely followed Deutsche Bank Chief Strategist Binky Chadha.\n\"Very near term, we expect equities to continue to be well supported by the acceleration in macro growth, and see buying by systematic strategies and buybacks driving a grind higher. But we expect a significant consolidation (-6% to -10%) as growth peaks over the next three months,\" Chadha wrote in a new research note on Tuesday.\nChadha calls out peaking ISM data — which has been coming in hot of late — as the potential trigger point for a steep market pullback.\n\"Our house economics forecast implies a flattening out of the ISMs at elevated levels beginning in Q2 (64) and continuing into Q3 (63). There are a number of considerations though that suggest the monthly ISMs peak more sharply over the next three months and slow in keeping with the historical inverted-V shaped pattern. We look for discretionary investor equity positioning to be pared with a peak in the ISMs and do not expect retail to buy the dip. We then see equities rallying back as our baseline remains for strong growth but only a gradual and modest rise in inflation,\" explains Chadha.\nThus far, investors are hardly positioned for any sizable spring/early summer swoon in stocks — with good reason as the economic data has been impressive.\nTheU.S. economy created 916,000 jobs in March, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported last week. That crushed Wall Street estimates for a 660,000 increase. The gain has some economic forecasters tellingYahoo Finance Livethe economy could be on the verge of creating a million jobs a month very soon.\nMeanwhile, data fromIHS Markitand theInstitute for Supply Managementon activity in the services sector on Monday blew the doors off analyst estimates as the ISM's activity index surged to a record high, as Yahoo Finance's Myles Udland wrote in theMorning Briefnewsletter. IHS Markit's reading was the best in seven years, noted Udland.\nAnd last but not least, corporate profit estimatesfor the first quarter have continued to trend noticeably higher amid the acceleration in economic data.\nBut if economic data moderates as Chadha expects, the stock market could lose a key catalyst. After the benchmarkS&P 500(SNPINDEX:^GSPC)lost a third of its value in mere weeks due to unprecedented uncertainties surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, it bounced back to gain in the neighborhood of 75% off its lows. You could rightly say that patience has paid off.
\n
But there's another reality that investors -- especially long-term investors -- are keenly aware of: the propensity of the stock market to crash or correct. Things might look great now, but the next big nosedive is always waiting in the wings.
\n
It begs the question: How likely is astock market crash? Let's take a closer look.
\n
Double-digit declines occur every 1.87 years, on average
\n
To begin with the basics, stock market corrections (i.e., declines of at least 10%) are quite common in the S&P 500. According to data from market analytics firm Yardeni Research, there have been 38 corrections in the S&P 500 since the beginning of 1950. This works out to an average double-digit decline in the benchmark indexevery 1.87 years. Since it's now been more than a year since the market hit its bear-market bottom, the averages are certainly not in investors' favor.
\n
However, averages are nothing more than that... averages. The market doesn't adhere to averages, even if some folks base their investments off of what's happened historically.
\n
We could enter a period similar to 1991 through 1996 where there were zero corrections. Or we could continue the theme since the beginning of 2010, where corrections occur, on average, every 19 months.
\n
Corrections have been an historical given within three years of a bear market bottom
\n
Another interesting piece of evidence to examine is the frequency by which the S&P 500 corrects after hitting a bear-market bottom.
\n
Since the beginning of 1960 (an arbitrary year I chose for the sake of simplicity), the widely followed index has navigated its way through nine bear markets, including the coronavirus crash. In rebounding from each of the previous eight bear market lows, there was at least one double-digit percentage decline within three years100% of the time. In aggregate, 13 corrections have occurred within three years following the last eight bear market bottoms (i.e., either one or two following each bottom).
\n
Put another way, rebounding from a bear-market bottom is rarely a straight-line move higher. Yet up, up, and away has pretty much been the theme for investors since March 23, 2020. History would suggest that there's a very good chance of a move lower in equities within the next two years.
\n
Crashes frequently occur when this valuation metric is hit
\n
But the most damning bit of evidence might just be the S&P 500's Shiller price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio. This is a valuation metric that examines the average inflation-adjusted earnings from the previous 10 years. You might also know it as the cyclically adjusted P/E ratio, or CAPE.
\n
As of the close of business on March 30, the S&P 500's Shiller P/E ratio hit 35.61. That's well over double its 150-year average of 16.8. Using continuous bull market moves as a parameter, it's the second-highest reading in its history.
\n
To some extent, itmakes sensethat equity valuations should be higher now than they've been historically. That's because interest rates are near an all-time low and access to the internet has effectively broken down barriers between Wall Street and Main Street that may have, in the past, kept P/E multiples at bay.
\n
However, previous instances of the S&P 500's Shiller P/E ratio crossing above and sustaining the 30 levelhaven't ended well. In the prior four instances where the Shiller P/E surpassed and held above 30, the benchmark index tumbled anywhere from 20% to as much as 89%. Although an 89% plunge, which was experienced during the Great Depression, is very unlikely these days, a big drop has historically been in the cards when valuations get extended, as they are now.
\n
Keep that cash handy in the event that opportunity knocks
\n
To circle back to the original question at hand, the data is pretty clear that the likelihood of a stock market crash or correction has grown considerably. It's impossible to precisely predict when a crash might occur, how long the decline will last, or how steep the drop could be. But the data strongly suggests that downside is in the offing.
\n
While this might be a disappointing revelation to some investors, it shouldn't be. Crashes and corrections are a normal part of the investing cycle. More importantly, theyprovide an opportunityfor investors to buy into great companies at a discount. Just think about all the great companies you're probably kicking yourself over for not buying last March.
\n
The reason to be excited about crashes and corrections is also found in the data. You see, of those 38 previous corrections in the S&P 500 since the beginning of 1950, each and every one has eventually been put into the rearview mirror by a bull market rally. Plus,at no point over the past centuryhave rolling 20-year total returns (including dividends) for the S&P 500 been negative.
\n
If you need further encouragement to buy during a correction, keep in mind that 24 of the 38 double-digit declines in the S&P 500 havefound their bottom in 104 or fewer calendar days(3.5 months or less). Crashes and corrections may be steep at times but tend to resolve quickly.

What Investors Need to Know.","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1167453696","media":"Barrons","summary":"Bitcoin is either a massive bubble or the digital currency of the future.\nThe reality is likely some","content":"
Bitcoin is either a massive bubble or the digital currency of the future.
\n
The reality is likely somewhere in the middle. Either way, the cryptocurrency is working itself into the mainstream financial world, achieving the scale and critical mass that may make it increasingly difficult to dislodge or restrain.
\n
With its market value hovering around $1 trillion, Bitcoin (BTC) has become too large and influential to remain on the financial fringes. Wall Street is pumping out reports on cryptos. Piper Sandler issued a 30-page report on Thursday, noting that the “crypto-economy could be entering a pivotal point in its development/lifecycle.”
\n
Coinbase Global, the largest U.S. crypto exchange and custodian, says it plans to go public on April 14 in what may be the largest tech IPO since Facebook(ticker: FB) in 2012. Private valuations peg Coinbase at $68 billion. The firm custodies an estimated $90 billion in crypto assets on its platform. It had revenue of $1.3 billion in 2020 and profits of $322 million, according to a regulatory filing.
\n
Fintechs see Bitcoin and other cryptos as a vast new market for payments and transaction services.Visasays it plans to settle transactions in a “stablecoin,” USD Coin (USDC). About $10 billion of USDC is now circulating, according to Visa, which sees it used for everything from buying a cup of coffee to cross-border payments, trade settlements, or foreign money transfers. Stablecoins are like digital dollars, pegged in value to the buck.
\n
Other votes of confidence in Bitcoin are coming fromTesla(TSLA),PayPal Holdings(PYPL) andSquare(SQ), all of which are now offering ways to transact in Bitcoin or other cryptos.
\n
And there are expanding ways to invest, including derivatives, stocks and holding companies like the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). Fund sponsors are also angling to launch a U.S.-listed exchange-traded fund (catching up to Canada, where Bitcoin ETFs recently started trading).
\n
U.S. fund sponsors filing for approvals recently include Fidelity Investments, VanEck,WisdomTree Investments(WETF), SkyBridge Capital, Valkyrie Digital Assets, and NYDIG Asset Management, according to Piper Sandler.
\n
The Securities and Exchange Commission has so far declined to approve a Bitcoin ETF, citing concerns about volatility, price transparency, and market manipulation. However, the Biden Administration’s nominee for SEC chairman, Gary Gensler, may take a friendlier approach. Gensler previously ran the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and has studied cryptos extensively. “This is good news for the digital assets industry,” wrote Jeff Bandman, a former CFTC official in aposton CoinDesk.
\n
As Bitcoin becomes entrenched, it may only get harder for regulators to restrain. Its growing acceptance as an alternative investment or transaction currency is far outpacing regulatory controls. That, in turn, could improve the investment case for owning it, according to Piper Sandler.
\n
“Many investors view this scale as a safeguard against potentially overbearing regulations from governments in the developed world,” Piper says. Investing in Bitcoin, the firm adds, is a “quasi call option for both individuals and institutions on this new and potentially disruptive technology.”
\n
Some economists also view Bitcoin’s rising clout as a means of keeping regulators at bay.
\n
“My read on the last six to 12 months is that as influential investors come in, it puts pressure on regulators not to do anything,” says Harvard economist Kenneth Rogoff, who doesn’t expect regulators to sit on their hands forever.
\n
Bitcoin and other crytpos are regulated by various federal agencies and states, but they aren’t entirely clear or consistent. The IRS classifies cryptos as property, for instance, subjecting it to capital-gains tax. The CFTC said in 2015 that virtual currencies should be “properly defined as commodities.” Banks, for their part, are now allowed to custody cryptos, conduct banking in stablecoins, and participate in blockchain networks under guidelines from the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency.
\n
But prices for Bitcoin and other cryptos are likely to stay volatile. Only a small fraction of the Bitcoin supply actually trades on exchanges or other platforms—most of it is kept off the market by long-term “hodlers.” That makes the price volatile and act like a thinly traded stock.
\n
“How bubbly is this market? Either way, the cryptocurrency is working itself into the mainstream financial world, achieving the scale and critical mass that may make it increasingly difficult to dislodge or restrain.\nWith its market value hovering around $1 trillion, Bitcoin (BTC) has become too large and influential to remain on the financial fringes. Wall Street is pumping out reports on cryptos. Piper Sandler issued a 30-page report on Thursday, noting that the “crypto-economy could be entering a pivotal point in its development/lifecycle.”\nCoinbase Global, the largest U.S. crypto exchange and custodian, says it plans to go public on April 14 in what may be the largest tech IPO since Facebook(ticker: FB) in 2012. Private valuations peg Coinbase at $68 billion. The firm custodies an estimated $90 billion in crypto assets on its platform. It had revenue of $1.3 billion in 2020 and profits of $322 million, according to a regulatory filing.\nFintechs see Bitcoin and other cryptos as a vast new market for payments and transaction services.Visasays it plans to settle transactions in a “stablecoin,” USD Coin (USDC). About $10 billion of USDC is now circulating, according to Visa, which sees it used for everything from buying a cup of coffee to cross-border payments, trade settlements, or foreign money transfers. Stablecoins are like digital dollars, pegged in value to the buck.\nOther votes of confidence in Bitcoin are coming fromTesla(TSLA),PayPal Holdings(PYPL) andSquare(SQ), all of which are now offering ways to transact in Bitcoin or other cryptos.\nAnd there are expanding ways to invest, including derivatives, stocks and holding companies like the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). Fund sponsors are also angling to launch a U.S.-listed exchange-traded fund (catching up to Canada, where Bitcoin ETFs recently started trading).\nU.S. fund sponsors filing for approvals recently include Fidelity Investments, VanEck,WisdomTree Investments(WETF), SkyBridge Capital, Valkyrie Digital Assets, and NYDIG Asset Management, according to Piper Sandler.\nThe Securities and Exchange Commission has so far declined to approve a Bitcoin ETF, citing concerns about volatility, price transparency, and market manipulation. However, the Biden Administration’s nominee for SEC chairman, Gary Gensler, may take a friendlier approach. Gensler previously ran the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and has studied cryptos extensively. “This is good news for the digital assets industry,” wrote Jeff Bandman, a former CFTC official in aposton CoinDesk.\nAs Bitcoin becomes entrenched, it may only get harder for regulators to restrain. Its growing acceptance as an alternative investment or transaction currency is far outpacing regulatory controls. That, in turn, could improve the investment case for owning it, according to Piper Sandler.\n“Many investors view this scale as a safeguard against potentially overbearing regulations from governments in the developed world,” Piper says. Investing in Bitcoin, the firm adds, is a “quasi call option for both individuals and institutions on this new and potentially disruptive technology.”\nSome economists also view Bitcoin’s rising clout as a means of keeping regulators at bay.\n“My read on the last six to 12 months is that as influential investors come in, it puts pressure on regulators not to do anything,” says Harvard economist Kenneth Rogoff, who doesn’t expect regulators to sit on their hands forever.\nBitcoin and other crytpos are regulated by various federal agencies and states, but they aren’t entirely clear or consistent. Comptroller of the Currency.\nBut prices for Bitcoin and other cryptos are likely to stay volatile. Only a small fraction of the Bitcoin supply actually trades on exchanges or other platforms—most of it is kept off the market by long-term “hodlers.” That makes the price volatile and act like a thinly traded stock.\n“How bubbly is this market? I think it’s very bubbly,” says Carmen Reinhart, chief economist of the World Bank. “It’s low liquidity and it may not take any melodrama in a thin market to reverse most or all of the price gains we’ve seen.”\nNonetheless, Bitcoin’s use cases are also compelling, she notes, particularly in countries like Venezuela and Lebanon, where hyperinflation and capital controls incentivize the use of unregulated digital currencies.\n“If you want to get money out of Lebanon or any country where you’re concerned about its future prospects—whether it’s inflation, confiscation, or anything else—crypto is a way of transferring [money], a vehicle for capital flight,” she says.\nAs for the price, investors should buckle up. “We have to expect huge price volatility,” Reinhart says. “But does this mean we’ll see a crash from which it doesn’t recover? I doubt that too.”","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":339,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":349968254,"gmtCreate":1617522071478,"gmtModify":1634520653750,"author":{"id":"3576057464713338","authorId":"3576057464713338","name":"DeJenerate","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576057464713338","authorIdStr":"3576057464713338"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/349968254","repostId":"2124875875","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":339,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":340689701,"gmtCreate":1617405704303,"gmtModify":1634521130786,"author":{"id":"3576057464713338","authorId":"3576057464713338","name":"DeJenerate","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576057464713338","authorIdStr":"3576057464713338"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like please","listText":"Like please","text":"Like please","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/340689701","repostId":"2124875875","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":423,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":352590564,"gmtCreate":1616982842258,"gmtModify":1634523317060,"author":{"id":"3576057464713338","authorId":"3576057464713338","name":"DeJenerate","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576057464713338","authorIdStr":"3576057464713338"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Interesting","listText":"Interesting","text":"Interesting","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/352590564","repostId":"1147585149","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":244,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":190120501,"gmtCreate":1620606855303,"gmtModify":1634197809117,"author":{"id":"3576057464713338","authorId":"3576057464713338","name":"DeJenerate","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576057464713338","authorIdStr":"3576057464713338"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Oh no","listText":"Oh no","text":"Oh no","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/190120501","repostId":"2134686276","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":373,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":341308003,"gmtCreate":1617777587602,"gmtModify":1634296562350,"author":{"id":"3576057464713338","authorId":"3576057464713338","name":"DeJenerate","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576057464713338","authorIdStr":"3576057464713338"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Oh no","listText":"Oh no","text":"Oh no","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/341308003","repostId":"1108754268","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1108754268","pubTimestamp":1617750152,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1108754268?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-04-07 07:02","market":"us","language":"en","title":"A 'significant' stock market 'consolidation' may only be months away: Deutsche Bank","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1108754268","media":"yahoo finance","summary":"Nothing has been able to shake the new bull market in recent weeks — not a still elevated 10-year Tr","content":"
Nothing has been able to shake the new bull market in recent weeks — not a still elevated 10-year Treasury yield orthreats of higher taxeson the wealthy and corporations by the Biden administration.
\n
But the one thing that has powered the S&P 500 beyond a record 4,000 — data that indicates a strong post COVID-19economic recovery is rapidly building— may turn out to ruin the rally.
