I’m curious on the counter which was quite hot inReddit earlier: BLSP. Does anyone knows if this counter has filed their documents? I heard they were filing since early 2021.
Seems like China has created a high barrier of entry for the EV industry. NIO LI XPEV have taken up a large domestic market share, and given china’s influence in Asia, likely they will be a strong competition in Asia EV space too
Gotta bite through this painful period. Though I believe it is for the long term benefit, with more regulations to even out the playing ground, may promote future businesses to enter into China.
I do like AMZN, but I’m not so sure about BMY &GM. I last read GM was trying to explore the EV space, but if the tech is too far behind, they may not gain much market share despite having existing resources in place.
If u think EV is an industry that will overtake the automotive industry, NIO would be in a very goodposition to take on. Financial support from the Chinese govt means a lot. Regulatory wise can be expected to be very supportive as well
I think China will flourish a lot more if they can create their own chips. I think Hua Wei CEO’s mentality and attitude should be adopted in the chipmaker space. I feel China has been reliant on overseas chipmaker, which is fundamental for tech industry.
I wonder how much more can China carry on like this. US has talks to start tapering. I rememberedsome analysts commented on the last tapering back in 2017, it does not matter who started first, but who taper first tends to be in a much better position. Back then, it was US who taper first.
Seems like Chinese market is flushing with liquidity, while US is thinking of tapering. If the liquidity were to flow into Chinese tech industry, we might see a more robust 2nd half 2021 =)
