The company enjoys growth tailwinds in its home market China and will increase its presence in overseas markets dramatically in the coming years. NIO is not as expensive as some other EV stocks, but shares are, on the other hand, still trading at a steep premium compared to how legacy auto companies are valued. Overall, NIO could return significant amounts of money in the coming years, but that is not a certainty, and investors should keep an eye on NIO's risk factors.</p>\n<p><b>NIO Stock Price</b></p>\n<p>NIO, Inc. is one of China's leading EV pure-plays, and that is reflected in its current valuation:</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/335372a846d2b847c5006c47a65abf2d\" tg-width=\"635\" tg-height=\"419\"><span>Data by YCharts</span></p>\n<p>At slightly below $40, NIO is valued at more than $60 billion right now. This is about 40% less than the valuation shares have traded at when they peaked in early 2021, which reflects the declining enthusiasm for EV stocks, as most of NIO's peers, including Tesla (TSLA), have seen their shares come back as well. Still, for reference, NIO is valued around the same level as Ford (F) - which is a way larger company for now, in terms of revenue and vehicle sales.</p>\n<p><b>Is NIO A Good Long-Term Stock?</b></p>\n<p>NIO is active in the high-growth EV market and thus benefits a lot from market growth tailwinds. On top of that, NIO also has an attractive product portfolio that includes well-received models such as the ES6 and ES8 SUVs. What differentiates NIO from most other EV companies is its battery-swapping technology that allows consumers to get a fully-charged battery in a couple of minutes when visiting one of NIO's battery-swapping stations.</p>\n<p>This means that the downtime when doing longer trips via an EV is reduced dramatically, as a battery-swap takes roughly as much time as refueling an ICE-powered car, whereas recharging most EVs takes well more than a couple of minutes. NIO's battery-swapping stations are being built out around China right now, although there is no meaningful footprint outside of NIO's home market yet.</p>\n<p>Still, NIO plans to roll out that service in international markets over the years, and once there is a large enough footprint of them to make a difference, this should be a unique selling point for NIO that will help differentiate its offerings from those of most peers. This could, I believe, result in further market share gains, which is why I wouldn't be surprised to see NIO grow at a rapid pace for the coming years.</p>\n<p>For 2021, NIO will likely deliver revenue growth of more than 100% on the back of strong deliveries growth, as the analyst community is currently forecasting a 130% revenue increase this year. For Q2, NIO is expecting a growth rate of&nbsp;around 110%&nbsp;for its deliveries, following a massive 480% revenue increase during the first quarter. NIO thus is growing quicker than the EV market as a whole, and also quicker than peers such as Tesla, which will grow by around 50%-60% this year, according to the analyst community, which is about half the growth rate that is expected for NIO this year.</p>\n<p>Maintaining 100%+ growth forever is, of course, not possible, and NIO's growth will decline from that level in the coming years. But due to the fact that its products are well-liked in its home market, while the company is also ambitiously planning a major entry into the&nbsp;large European EV market, NIO should still deliver very considerable growth in the coming years.</p>\n<p>Obvious growth tailwinds for a company, or even an industry, do not necessarily equate to massive share price upside, however. Investors should consider that NIO will, like all auto companies, be active in a cyclical, capital-intense industry where margins, on average, are not very high. This doesn't mean that NIO does not have long-term upside, but investors should keep in mind that a home run is not guaranteed when investing in NIO or other EV stocks - despite the fact that EV sales are growing quickly.</p>\n<p><b>NIO Stock Forecast In 5 Years</b></p>\n<p>NIO will grow its revenues by more than 100% this year, according to most estimates, but growth projections beyond that point are varying a lot more. Looking at 2022, for example, the analyst consensus for NIO's revenues is $8.7 billion, which would reflect a 78% increase versus the consensus for 2021. Estimates are in a wide range, however, as analyst estimates range from $7.3 billion to $11.9 billion in revenue in 2022.</p>\n<p>In other words, the most bullish estimates see NIO deliver 60% higher revenues than the most bearish estimates. Since these estimates are being made for 2022 - just one year from now - this wide discrepancy shows how hard it is to forecast exact revenue or earnings numbers for a company like NIO.</p>\n<p>For my estimate for 2025's revenues, I'll go with the analyst consensus for 2022, i.e. $8.7 billion, and then assume that revenues will grow at 1.5x the forecasted overall&nbsp;market growth rate of 27%&nbsp;in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. This would get us to $34 billion in revenue in 2026, i.e. five years from now. Since analysts are currently forecasting that revenue will grow by 110% this year, and by around 80% next year, some readers may argue that a 40% growth rate estimate for 2023-2026 is too conservative. But the major unknowns and uncertainties around competitive pressures, government policies, etc., mean that I think that projecting a higher growth rate for many years in advance might be too optimistic.</p>\n<p>What might a $34 billion top line mean for NIO's stock price? Right now, shares are valued at 11.6x this year's expected sales, which is almost perfectly in line with the valuation of XPeng (XPEV), and slightly lower than that of Tesla:</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/ae661b708eec89bcb50b06a1b6947280\" tg-width=\"635\" tg-height=\"501\"><span>Data by YCharts</span></p>\n<p>Looking at 2022, we see that shares are valued at around 7x expected revenues right now, whereas XPeng and Tesla trade at 6x and 9x their expected revenues right now. I highly doubt that the average EV company will be trading at high single-digit or even double-digit sales multiples in 2026, as this is just too much of a difference versus the 0.5-2x revenue multiples that legacy auto companies usually trade at. But when we assume that NIO, as an EV pure-play, will still trade at a premium to legacy auto in the middle of the 2020s, a 3x or 4x sales multiple might be a realistic estimate.</p>\n<p>When we go with 3.5x our revenue forecast for 2026, that would equate to a market capitalization of 119 billion - about 90% more than NIO's current market capitalization. NIO's share count has not been constant, however, and has, in fact, been rising considerably in the past. When we assume that the share count will rise by another 20% through 2026, to 1.9 billion, then shares would trade at $61 in 2026. This would mean that shares have an upside potential of around 55% over the next five years, or about 9% annually.</p>\n<p>That is not at all unattractive, but it also isn't an absolutely outstanding return. On top of that, NIO, like many other EV startups, is a company with above-average volatility, above-average risks, and above-average uncertainties. I thus would not call NIO overly attractive at current prices, as the forecasted return is solid, but goes hand in hand with considerable risks/uncertainties. One can, of course, argue that the forecasted growth is too high, or too low, or that the target sales multiple should be different in 2026. As a base case scenario, I feel like this is reasonable, however.</p>\n<p><b>Is NIO Stock A Buy Now?</b></p>\n<p>In retrospect, it is pretty clear that NIO at $10 about a year ago was a great opportunity, and that buying NIO at $67 at the peak earlier this year was a pretty bad decision. NIO today, in the high $30s, is somewhere in between these two extremes. I believe that, for long-term investors, NIO has a good chance of delivering solid returns over the years. At the same time, however, a lot of growth is priced into the stock right now, and it is not possible to forecast what competitors will do over the coming years, how accommodating governments will be to EVs, how well the rollout in Europe and other international markets will go, etc.</p>\n<p>I think NIO is more attractive than many other EV companies today, including many of the EV startups that don't have any viable products yet, and also versus Tesla (which is growing slower and still trades at a higher valuation). I would not be surprised to see NIO's stock deliver solid returns during the 2020s. I don't think that NIO is an absolute no-brainer buy today, however, as NIO still trades at a quite high valuation, for now, even factoring in its strong growth.</p>\n<p>For those that are enterprising and do not mind the risks and uncertainties around future product launches and international expansion, the stock's volatility, and so on, NIO could be a buy today. But it is not a good choice for everyone, and some may want to watch the EV race from the sidelines instead of putting money at risk at current valuations.</p>\n<p>The current analyst consensus share price target is $59, but I personally do not think this is realistic in the very near term. Based on expected revenues for 2021, this would put NIO at an 18x sales multiple, which is, I believe, not justified. The company enjoys growth tailwinds in its home market China and will increase its presence in overseas markets dramatically in the coming years. NIO is not as expensive as some other EV stocks, but shares are, on the other hand, still trading at a steep premium compared to how legacy auto companies are valued. Overall, NIO could return significant amounts of money in the coming years, but that is not a certainty, and investors should keep an eye on NIO's risk factors.\nNIO Stock Price\nNIO, Inc. is one of China's leading EV pure-plays, and that is reflected in its current valuation:\nData by YCharts\nAt slightly below $40, NIO is valued at more than $60 billion right now. This is about 40% less than the valuation shares have traded at when they peaked in early 2021, which reflects the declining enthusiasm for EV stocks, as most of NIO's peers, including Tesla (TSLA), have seen their shares come back as well. Still, for reference, NIO is valued around the same level as Ford (F) - which is a way larger company for now, in terms of revenue and vehicle sales.\nIs NIO A Good Long-Term Stock?\nNIO is active in the high-growth EV market and thus benefits a lot from market growth tailwinds. On top of that, NIO also has an attractive product portfolio that includes well-received models such as the ES6 and ES8 SUVs. What differentiates NIO from most other EV companies is its battery-swapping technology that allows consumers to get a fully-charged battery in a couple of minutes when visiting one of NIO's battery-swapping stations.\nThis means that the downtime when doing longer trips via an EV is reduced dramatically, as a battery-swap takes roughly as much time as refueling an ICE-powered car, whereas recharging most EVs takes well more than a couple of minutes. NIO's battery-swapping stations are being built out around China right now, although there is no meaningful footprint outside of NIO's home market yet.\nStill, NIO plans to roll out that service in international markets over the years, and once there is a large enough footprint of them to make a difference, this should be a unique selling point for NIO that will help differentiate its offerings from those of most peers. This could, I believe, result in further market share gains, which is why I wouldn't be surprised to see NIO grow at a rapid pace for the coming years.\nFor 2021, NIO will likely deliver revenue growth of more than 100% on the back of strong deliveries growth, as the analyst community is currently forecasting a 130% revenue increase this year. For Q2, NIO is expecting a growth rate of around 110% for its deliveries, following a massive 480% revenue increase during the first quarter. NIO thus is growing quicker than the EV market as a whole, and also quicker than peers such as Tesla, which will grow by around 50%-60% this year, according to the analyst community, which is about half the growth rate that is expected for NIO this year.\nMaintaining 100%+ growth forever is, of course, not possible, and NIO's growth will decline from that level in the coming years. But due to the fact that its products are well-liked in its home market, while the company is also ambitiously planning a major entry into the large European EV market, NIO should still deliver very considerable growth in the coming years.\nObvious growth tailwinds for a company, or even an industry, do not necessarily equate to massive share price upside, however. Investors should consider that NIO will, like all auto companies, be active in a cyclical, capital-intense industry where margins, on average, are not very high. This doesn't mean that NIO does not have long-term upside, but investors should keep in mind that a home run is not guaranteed when investing in NIO or other EV stocks - despite the fact that EV sales are growing quickly.\nNIO Stock Forecast In 5 Years\nNIO will grow its revenues by more than 100% this year, according to most estimates, but growth projections beyond that point are varying a lot more. Looking at 2022, for example, the analyst consensus for NIO's revenues is $8.7 billion, which would reflect a 78% increase versus the consensus for 2021. Estimates are in a wide range, however, as analyst estimates range from $7.3 billion to $11.9 billion in revenue in 2022.\nIn other words, the most bullish estimates see NIO deliver 60% higher revenues than the most bearish estimates. Since these estimates are being made for 2022 - just one year from now - this wide discrepancy shows how hard it is to forecast exact revenue or earnings numbers for a company like NIO.\nFor my estimate for 2025's revenues, I'll go with the analyst consensus for 2022, i.e. $8.7 billion, and then assume that revenues will grow at 1.5x the forecasted overall market growth rate of 27% in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. This would get us to $34 billion in revenue in 2026, i.e. five years from now. Since analysts are currently forecasting that revenue will grow by 110% this year, and by around 80% next year, some readers may argue that a 40% growth rate estimate for 2023-2026 is too conservative. But the major unknowns and uncertainties around competitive pressures, government policies, etc., mean that I think that projecting a higher growth rate for many years in advance might be too optimistic.\nWhat might a $34 billion top line mean for NIO's stock price? Right now, shares are valued at 11.6x this year's expected sales, which is almost perfectly in line with the valuation of XPeng (XPEV), and slightly lower than that of Tesla:\nData by YCharts\nLooking at 2022, we see that shares are valued at around 7x expected revenues right now, whereas XPeng and Tesla trade at 6x and 9x their expected revenues right now. I highly doubt that the average EV company will be trading at high single-digit or even double-digit sales multiples in 2026, as this is just too much of a difference versus the 0.5-2x revenue multiples that legacy auto companies usually trade at. But when we assume that NIO, as an EV pure-play, will still trade at a premium to legacy auto in the middle of the 2020s, a 3x or 4x sales multiple might be a realistic estimate.\nWhen we go with 3.5x our revenue forecast for 2026, that would equate to a market capitalization of 119 billion - about 90% more than NIO's current market capitalization. NIO's share count has not been constant, however, and has, in fact, been rising considerably in the past. When we assume that the share count will rise by another 20% through 2026, to 1.9 billion, then shares would trade at $61 in 2026. This would mean that shares have an upside potential of around 55% over the next five years, or about 9% annually.\nThat is not at all unattractive, but it also isn't an absolutely outstanding return. On top of that, NIO, like many other EV startups, is a company with above-average volatility, above-average risks, and above-average uncertainties. I thus would not call NIO overly attractive at current prices, as the forecasted return is solid, but goes hand in hand with considerable risks/uncertainties. One can, of course, argue that the forecasted growth is too high, or too low, or that the target sales multiple should be different in 2026. As a base case scenario, I feel like this is reasonable, however.\nIs NIO Stock A Buy Now?\nIn retrospect, it is pretty clear that NIO at $10 about a year ago was a great opportunity, and that buying NIO at $67 at the peak earlier this year was a pretty bad decision. NIO today, in the high $30s, is somewhere in between these two extremes. I believe that, for long-term investors, NIO has a good chance of delivering solid returns over the years. At the same time, however, a lot of growth is priced into the stock right now, and it is not possible to forecast what competitors will do over the coming years, how accommodating governments will be to EVs, how well the rollout in Europe and other international markets will go, etc.\nI think NIO is more attractive than many other EV companies today, including many of the EV startups that don't have any viable products yet, and also versus Tesla (which is growing slower and still trades at a higher valuation). I would not be surprised to see NIO's stock deliver solid returns during the 2020s. I don't think that NIO is an absolute no-brainer buy today, however, as NIO still trades at a quite high valuation, for now, even factoring in its strong growth.\nFor those that are enterprising and do not mind the risks and uncertainties around future product launches and international expansion, the stock's volatility, and so on, NIO could be a buy today. But it is not a good choice for everyone, and some may want to watch the EV race from the sidelines instead of putting money at risk at current valuations.\nThe current analyst consensus share price target is $59, but I personally do not think this is realistic in the very near term. Based on expected revenues for 2021, this would put NIO at an 18x sales multiple, which is, I believe, not justified. That came after the movie theater operator raised more than $230 million in a share sale to hedge fund Mudrick Capital, which is said to have immediately sold those shares at a profit.</p><p><b>BlackBerry&nbsp;(BB)</b>&nbsp;–&nbsp;BlackBerry's U.S.-listed shares rose about 20% in pre-market trading, bringing their total yearly gains to more than 75%.</p><p><b>Zoom Video&nbsp;(ZM)</b> – Zoom came in 33 cents a share ahead of estimates, with quarterly earnings of $1.33 per share. The video communications platform company’s revenue beat analysts’ forecasts as well, and the company gave upbeat guidance even as more people return to offices. Zoom shares gained 0.6% in the premarket.</p><p><b>Tesla&nbsp;(TSLA)</b> – Tesla was reportedly told by the Securities and Exchange Commission, once in 2019 and once in 2020, that it had failed to properly approve tweets by CEO Elon Musk on two occasions. The Wall Street Journal cited documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, which point to one tweet about Tesla’s stock price and another about production levels.</p><p><b>Etsy&nbsp;(ETSY) </b>– The online crafts marketplace announced&nbsp;a deal to buy fashion resale company Depop&nbsp;for $1.625 billion. London-based Depop will continue to operate as a separate marketplace after the deal is completed. Etsy rose 1% in the premarket.</p><p><b>Taiwan Semiconductor&nbsp;(TSM)</b> – The chip maker has begun construction at a new chip plant in Arizona, according to Chief Executive Officer C.C. Wei. He said the planned factory remains on track to begin chip production in 2024.</p><p><b>RLX Technology&nbsp;(RLX)</b>&nbsp;–&nbsp;RLX Technology reported&nbsp;Q1 revenues $366.1 million,up 48.2% YOY;Non-GAAP net income&nbsp;was&nbsp;$93.2 million, up 45.6% YOY.The&nbsp;shares&nbsp;surged&nbsp;9%&nbsp;in premarket trading.</p><p><b>Moderna&nbsp;(MRNA)</b> – The drugmaker announced a partnership with life sciences company&nbsp;Thermo Fisher Scientific&nbsp;(TMO) to provide manufacturing and packaging services for Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine as it seeks to ramp up production.</p><p><b>Lands’ End&nbsp;(LE)</b> – The apparel retailer reported an unexpected profit of 8 cents per share, compared to a consensus forecast for a 29 cents per share quarterly loss. Revenue also exceeded estimates, helped by a jump in digital sales. Lands’ End surged 6.6% in premarket trading.</p><p><b>Ambarella&nbsp;(AMBA) </b>– Ambarella beat estimates by 6 cents a share, with quarterly profit of 23 cents per share. The maker of video chips and components also saw its revenue beat Street projections, boosted by strong growth in the company’s automotive business. It also gave an upbeat outlook. Ambarella rallied 4.9% in the premarket.</p><p><b>Advance Auto Parts&nbsp;(AAP)</b> – The auto parts retailer earned $3.34 per share for its latest quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $3.08 a share. Revenue came in above estimates as well. Comparable-store sales increased 24.7%, slightly better than the 23% consensus estimate. Advance Auto noted sales strength from both do-it-yourself and professional customers.</p><p><b>Hewlett Packard Enterprise</b>&nbsp;<b>(HPE)</b> – Hewlett Packard Enterprise reported a quarterly profit of 46 cents per share, beating estimates by 4 cents a share. Revenue also topped Wall Street forecasts. The enterprise computing company posted its first year-over-year revenue growth since 2018, however it also reported a sequential decline in hardware profit margins. The current maximum tax credit is $7,500 with no maximum price and currently phases out for individual automakers once they hit 200,000 total EVs sold.</p>\n<p>Both General Motors and Tesla have hit the cap and currently do not qualify for the $7,500 tax credit.</p>\n<p>The \"Clean Energy for America\" bill, which advanced on a 14-14 tie vote, would eliminate the existing EV cap, while the credit would phase-out over three years once 50% of U.S. passenger vehicle sales were EVs. It has numerous other green energy tax incentives and would rescind or cut many fossil fuel tax provisions.</p>\n<p>The EV proposal led by Senator Debbie Stabenow, a Michigan Democrat, would boost the $7,500 tax credit by $2,500 for vehicles assembled in the United States and another $2,500 for cars at facilities whose production workers are members of, or represented by, a labor union.</p>\n<p>That would mean smaller credits to automakers such as Tesla, Volkswagen and others who do not have U.S. union workers, and companies building EVs outside the United States.</p>\n<p>The EV incentives are estimated to cost $31.6 billion through 2031, according to a congressional estimate. The bill must still be approved by the full Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.</p>\n<p>The bill also includes a 30% tax credit for manufacturers to retool or build new facilities to produce advanced energy technologies including batteries and new incentives to purchase commercial electric vehicles.</p>\n<p>President Joe Biden has proposed $174 billion for electric-vehicles and charging stations, including $100 billion for consumer rebates. Would they not want to buy a hotshot tech stock instead?</p><p>Well, you could make the same argument for GameStop, which had its heyday at least a decade ago. But, at least with RKT stock, you have a company with sound fundamentals, an asset-light strategy and strong tailwinds.</p><p>The company’s main claim to fame is the Rocket Mortgage online platform, which allows users to take care of various aspects of the mortgage process. For example, you can apply for a mortgage, upload documents, e-sign documents, get statements and execute monthly payments — all through one app.</p><p>Rocket Companies operates under two business segments: Direct to Consumer and Partner Network. The former is a more direct and hands-on approach, and the latter deals with bolstering the brand through consumer-focused influencers and marketing partnerships.</p><p>It hasn’t been a historically impressive stock, but Rocket is generating great profits on the back of a booming U.S. housing market. Plus, shares are down 21% in a month, which means you could snap these up at affordable rates.</p><p><b>Tesla (TSLA)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e7bcd3e2f08559a8036862a496e3a4fc\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: Grisha Bruev / Shutterstock.com</p><p>As one of the more controversial Reddit stocks, Tesla had an amazing 2020. Buoyed by investor enthusiasm for the electric vehicle (EV) industry, TSLA stock made record gains last year. And even though shares have cooled off, they are still up 280% in one year.</p><p>Coming back to the company itself, there are two reasons why the EV giant lost a bit of steam. Firstly, as vaccines roll out, we are finally returning to some normalcy. So, investors are moving towardsrecovery stocksandsafer bets.</p><p>Secondly, Tesla itself has not done a lot to impress investors. Its latest quarterly results leave a lot to be decided, and Elon Musk’s erratic behavior does not help matters. So, all things considered, TSLA is one of the riskiest bets out there. But the WallStreetBets community is still buzzing about the EV giant.</p><p><b>Reddit Stocks: Apple (AAPL)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/17da7ab3b078612f00549e67106f6bc8\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: ZorroGabriel / Shutterstock.com</p><p>Our next entry is a sharp rebuke to those who say Reddit stocks are all about risk.</p><p>Apple is a bellwether of the tech world and is a “best in class” blue-chip tech stock. Most recently, the Cupertino, Calif.-based tech giant recorded a54% year-over-year increase in revenueand $23.6 billion in net income in its fiscal second quarter. It is also aggressively pursuing its strategy to become net cash-neutral, announcing a new $90 billion buyback program in its latest quarterly results.</p><p>Moreover, AAPL stock is similar to TSLA stock in that the main conversation surrounding it is valuation these days. However, one must remember that AAPL stock is trading at 28.1x trailing price-earnings (P/E) and TSLA trades at 575.1x P/E.</p><p>Still, investors are hoping the stock will lose a bit more steam. Yet, Reddit traders seem to have a different opinion, believing that the stock has room to grow still after falling 5.5% in a month.</p><p><b>Nvidia (NVDA)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/38d8c3db9ab2a1e2cecc93b01c3d6d9d\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: JHVEPhoto / Shutterstock.com</p><p>Readers of this space know howbullish I amon Nvidia. The world’s leading semiconductor company is supplying cutting-edge technology for several artificial intelligence applications and is constantly building out its portfolio to diversify investments.</p><p>The recent quarterly results reinforce how dominant it is in the chip space. In the fourth fiscal quarter, the American multinational technology company reported$5 billion in revenue, up 61% from $3.11 billion a year earlier.</p><p>Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share came in at $3.10, up 64% from $1.89 a year earlier, handily beating Wall Street analyst forecasts of $2.81 per share by 10.3%. This marks the ninth quarter in a row where the company has delivered a ‘positive’ earnings surprise.</p><p>Gaming and data centers remain the lynchpin of its success. Data centers, artificial intelligence, and the automotive segment are poised to become major growth drivers moving forward as Nvidia invests heavily in the space.</p><p>These are all high-margin businesses, so Nvidia’s future is secure. The only sticking point, I would say, is valuation. Although the stock price has fallen in the last few months, shares are still trading at high price multiples. But hey, Reddit traders do not seem to think so.</p><p><b>Reddit Stocks: GameStop (GME)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7e8020621987a4451013eee074e20d4b\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: quietbits / Shutterstock.com</p><p>If there is one name that is synonymous with Reddit stocks, it is GameStop. The perennially troubled video game retailer got a new lease of life thanks to enthusiastic newbie traders. But, unfortunately, they did not invest based on fundamentals.</p><p>Instead, they believed they were doing a social service by saving the retailer from bankruptcy. Along the way, they badly damaged hedge funds that had shorted the stock, reinforcing how this is the age of the retail trader.</p><p>Regardless, it has been a few months since this unique phenomenon started. The interesting part? The momentum shows no signs of stopping. In the last three months alone, shares are up 113%.</p><p>It’s useless to talk fundamentals here. When you think Reddit stocks, I am pretty sure the first name that comes to mind is GameStop. Reddit traders have made GME stock a matter of prestige, so expect this one to stay popular with them for some time to come.</p><p><b>Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/93319e9e88d1378e2b42739a47216d3b\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: Joseph GTK / Shutterstock.com</p><p>Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices are the two most prominent semiconductor companies out there.</p><p>Much like Nvidia, AMD is a solid performer, and you will not have any sleepless nights if you decide to park your capital here.</p><p>In the last five years, AMD has outperformed the<b>S&amp;P 500</b>by 1692.1% and its sector by 1545.7%. That kind of price momentum highlights the company’s strong performance over a long period of time.</p><p>Coming back to the present day, both Ryzen 3000-series SKUs and next-gen Zen 3-based CPUs continue to sell at breakneck speed.</p><p>In addition, AMD is benefitting massively from the renewal of one of the oldest rivalries in tech —<b>Sony’s</b>(NYSE:<b><u>SONY</u></b>) PlayStation versus<b>Microsoft’s</b>&nbsp;(NASDAQ:<b><u>MSFT</u></b>) Xbox. Both of these consoles use chips made by AMD, so it really doesn’t have a horse in this race. Instead, it’s just sitting back and enjoying the success of these two launches.</p><p>Much like NVDA stock, though, there are only two things you need to worry about when investing in AMD stock. The first is overvaluation concern. The stock trades at 35.8 times forward P/E. The second is the chip shortage and how that will affect performance.</p><p>For now, it seems safe to say the company is managing the situation well. AMD CEO Lisa Su, the first woman to head a major semiconductor company, isn’t flustered by chip shortage and believes that GPU and processor stock will improve throughout 2021.</p><p><b>Reddit Stocks: Palantir Technologies (PLTR)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/ae3c334400df21791be5286e847ed42b\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: Ascannio / Shutterstock.com</p><p>One of the more controversial Reddit stocks out there is Palantir. But like several other entries on this list, this is a solid performer that will make its place in any growth-focused investor’s portfolio.</p><p>The big data analytics founded by Peter Thiel has a close relationship with the&nbsp;U.S. military&nbsp;and the&nbsp;Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Understandably, some members of Congress are miffed with this close association. However, from a fundamentals perspective, there is nothing to dislike about this one.</p><p>Every quarter, Palantir manages to bag major contracts due to its impressive data analytics capabilities.</p><p>It has two software platforms, Gotham and Foundry. Gotham is for defense and intelligence agencies, and Foundry is for commercial customers. Both these business segments are doing exceedingly well, leading to the stock becoming a favorite among analysts, and apparently Reddit folk.</p><p><b>AMC Entertainment Holdings (AMC)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/debf23c65609117fe070894de9ad0203\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: rblfmr/Shutterstock.com</p><p>Unsurprisingly, Reddit traders found AMC stock enticing at a time when most movie theaters were shuttered. As the movie theatre chain struggled to survive and shore up cash, Reddit investors rescued the company from the depths of bankruptcy.</p><p>AMC has chosen to make hay while the sun shines, raising substantial cash through equity issues. However, the important thing to note here is that even before the novel coronavirus pandemic struck, AMC was suffering. It was having trouble competing with streaming giants as movie content shifted online.</p><p>The situation hasn’t changed much. In fact, movie studios are increasingly leaning towards streaming options as an answer to their woes, meaning things will not look up for the company any time soon with streaming giants like<b>Netflix</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>NFLX</u></b>) gaining ground.</p><p><b>Reddit Stocks: Airbnb (ABNB)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/9fca693954ba87536618aaef41ac6768\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: AlesiaKan / Shutterstock.com</p><p>Airbnb has cooled off a bit after a blockbuster debut. However, shares are down 33%, and the stock is still overvalued in my eyes because of the sector in which it operates.</p><p>Travel and tourism took a big hit last year. And although airline traffic is returning, it’s still not at the level where Airbnb can justify a market cap of $83.4 billion.</p><p>So, at a time when mostairline stocks are taking massive hitsand just struggling to survive, ABNB stock is trading at massive price multiples while still being unprofitable. Yes, it has a different business model that is less capital intensive. But still, the valuation is too high.</p><p>However, again, this doesn’t faze Reddit traders at all, who are willing to hold onto this one with “diamond hands,” a fact that should help keep this one on your radar.</p><p><b>Air Products &amp; Chemicals (APD)</b><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/ef0650f31249d6f4fca1488432e6d315\" tg-width=\"300\" tg-height=\"169\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\">Source: Shutterstock</p><p>Allentown, Pennsylvania-based Air Products &amp; Chemicals is one of the more conventional stocks on this list. Its principal business is selling gases and chemicals for industrial uses. Not what you were expecting on the WallStreetBets subreddit? Well, the Reddit investing world is full of surprises.</p><p>Regardless, this is a pretty boring, stable investment, one that will get a massive boost once the economy starts whirring at full steam again. Consensus estimates tracked by<i>Refinitiv</i>call for an increase of 12.2% and 22.3%in fiscal 2021 and 2022, respectively.</p><p>Again, valuation is a bit high, not surprising since the stock has been on a bull run as of late. For example, you can apply for a mortgage, upload documents, e-sign documents, get statements and execute monthly payments — all through one app.Rocket Companies operates under two business segments: Direct to Consumer and Partner Network. The former is a more direct and hands-on approach, and the latter deals with bolstering the brand through consumer-focused influencers and marketing partnerships.It hasn’t been a historically impressive stock, but Rocket is generating great profits on the back of a booming U.S. housing market. Its latest quarterly results leave a lot to be decided, and Elon Musk’s erratic behavior does not help matters. So, all things considered, TSLA is one of the riskiest bets out there. It is also aggressively pursuing its strategy to become net cash-neutral, announcing a new $90 billion buyback program in its latest quarterly results.Moreover, AAPL stock is similar to TSLA stock in that the main conversation surrounding it is valuation these days. However, one must remember that AAPL stock is trading at 28.1x trailing price-earnings (P/E) and TSLA trades at 575.1x P/E.Still, investors are hoping the stock will lose a bit more steam. In the fourth fiscal quarter, the American multinational technology company reported$5 billion in revenue, up 61% from $3.11 billion a year earlier.Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share came in at $3.10, up 64% from $1.89 a year earlier, handily beating Wall Street analyst forecasts of $2.81 per share by 10.3%. This marks the ninth quarter in a row where the company has delivered a ‘positive’ earnings surprise.Gaming and data centers remain the lynchpin of its success. Data centers, artificial intelligence, and the automotive segment are poised to become major growth drivers moving forward as Nvidia invests heavily in the space.These are all high-margin businesses, so Nvidia’s future is secure. The only sticking point, I would say, is valuation. Although the stock price has fallen in the last few months, shares are still trading at high price multiples. The perennially troubled video game retailer got a new lease of life thanks to enthusiastic newbie traders. But, unfortunately, they did not invest based on fundamentals.Instead, they believed they were doing a social service by saving the retailer from bankruptcy. Along the way, they badly damaged hedge funds that had shorted the stock, reinforcing how this is the age of the retail trader.Regardless, it has been a few months since this unique phenomenon started. The interesting part? The momentum shows no signs of stopping. In the last three months alone, shares are up 113%.It’s useless to talk fundamentals here. When you think Reddit stocks, I am pretty sure the first name that comes to mind is GameStop. That kind of price momentum highlights the company’s strong performance over a long period of time.Coming back to the present day, both Ryzen 3000-series SKUs and next-gen Zen 3-based CPUs continue to sell at breakneck speed.In addition, AMD is benefitting massively from the renewal of one of the oldest rivalries in tech —Sony’s(NYSE:SONY) PlayStation versusMicrosoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox. Both of these consoles use chips made by AMD, so it really doesn’t have a horse in this race. Instead, it’s just sitting back and enjoying the success of these two launches.Much like NVDA stock, though, there are only two things you need to worry about when investing in AMD stock. The first is overvaluation concern. The stock trades at 35.8 times forward P/E. The second is the chip shortage and how that will affect performance.For now, it seems safe to say the company is managing the situation well. Understandably, some members of Congress are miffed with this close association. However, from a fundamentals perspective, there is nothing to dislike about this one.Every quarter, Palantir manages to bag major contracts due to its impressive data analytics capabilities.It has two software platforms, Gotham and Foundry. Gotham is for defense and intelligence agencies, and Foundry is for commercial customers. However, the important thing to note here is that even before the novel coronavirus pandemic struck, AMC was suffering. It was having trouble competing with streaming giants as movie content shifted online.The situation hasn’t changed much. Yes, it has a different business model that is less capital intensive. But still, the valuation is too high.However, again, this doesn’t faze Reddit traders at all, who are willing to hold onto this one with “diamond hands,” a fact that should help keep this one on your radar.Air Products & Chemicals (APD)Source: ShutterstockAllentown, Pennsylvania-based Air Products & Chemicals is one of the more conventional stocks on this list. Its principal business is selling gases and chemicals for industrial uses. Not what you were expecting on the WallStreetBets subreddit? Well, the Reddit investing world is full of surprises.Regardless, this is a pretty boring, stable investment, one that will get a massive boost once the economy starts whirring at full steam again. Consensus estimates tracked byRefinitivcall for an increase of 12.2% and 22.3%in fiscal 2021 and 2022, respectively.Again, valuation is a bit high, not surprising since the stock has been on a bull run as of late. The company enjoys growth tailwinds in its home market China and will increase its presence in overseas markets dramatically in the coming years. NIO is not as expensive as some other EV stocks, but shares are, on the other hand, still trading at a steep premium compared to how legacy auto companies are valued. Overall, NIO could return significant amounts of money in the coming years, but that is not a certainty, and investors should keep an eye on NIO's risk factors.</p>\n<p><b>NIO Stock Price</b></p>\n<p>NIO, Inc. is one of China's leading EV pure-plays, and that is reflected in its current valuation:</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/335372a846d2b847c5006c47a65abf2d\" tg-width=\"635\" tg-height=\"419\"><span>Data by YCharts</span></p>\n<p>At slightly below $40, NIO is valued at more than $60 billion right now. This is about 40% less than the valuation shares have traded at when they peaked in early 2021, which reflects the declining enthusiasm for EV stocks, as most of NIO's peers, including Tesla (TSLA), have seen their shares come back as well. Still, for reference, NIO is valued around the same level as Ford (F) - which is a way larger company for now, in terms of revenue and vehicle sales.</p>\n<p><b>Is NIO A Good Long-Term Stock?</b></p>\n<p>NIO is active in the high-growth EV market and thus benefits a lot from market growth tailwinds. On top of that, NIO also has an attractive product portfolio that includes well-received models such as the ES6 and ES8 SUVs. What differentiates NIO from most other EV companies is its battery-swapping technology that allows consumers to get a fully-charged battery in a couple of minutes when visiting one of NIO's battery-swapping stations.</p>\n<p>This means that the downtime when doing longer trips via an EV is reduced dramatically, as a battery-swap takes roughly as much time as refueling an ICE-powered car, whereas recharging most EVs takes well more than a couple of minutes. NIO's battery-swapping stations are being built out around China right now, although there is no meaningful footprint outside of NIO's home market yet.</p>\n<p>Still, NIO plans to roll out that service in international markets over the years, and once there is a large enough footprint of them to make a difference, this should be a unique selling point for NIO that will help differentiate its offerings from those of most peers. This could, I believe, result in further market share gains, which is why I wouldn't be surprised to see NIO grow at a rapid pace for the coming years.</p>\n<p>For 2021, NIO will likely deliver revenue growth of more than 100% on the back of strong deliveries growth, as the analyst community is currently forecasting a 130% revenue increase this year. For Q2, NIO is expecting a growth rate of&nbsp;around 110%&nbsp;for its deliveries, following a massive 480% revenue increase during the first quarter. NIO thus is growing quicker than the EV market as a whole, and also quicker than peers such as Tesla, which will grow by around 50%-60% this year, according to the analyst community, which is about half the growth rate that is expected for NIO this year.</p>\n<p>Maintaining 100%+ growth forever is, of course, not possible, and NIO's growth will decline from that level in the coming years. But due to the fact that its products are well-liked in its home market, while the company is also ambitiously planning a major entry into the&nbsp;large European EV market, NIO should still deliver very considerable growth in the coming years.</p>\n<p>Obvious growth tailwinds for a company, or even an industry, do not necessarily equate to massive share price upside, however. Investors should consider that NIO will, like all auto companies, be active in a cyclical, capital-intense industry where margins, on average, are not very high. This doesn't mean that NIO does not have long-term upside, but investors should keep in mind that a home run is not guaranteed when investing in NIO or other EV stocks - despite the fact that EV sales are growing quickly.</p>\n<p><b>NIO Stock Forecast In 5 Years</b></p>\n<p>NIO will grow its revenues by more than 100% this year, according to most estimates, but growth projections beyond that point are varying a lot more. Looking at 2022, for example, the analyst consensus for NIO's revenues is $8.7 billion, which would reflect a 78% increase versus the consensus for 2021. Estimates are in a wide range, however, as analyst estimates range from $7.3 billion to $11.9 billion in revenue in 2022.</p>\n<p>In other words, the most bullish estimates see NIO deliver 60% higher revenues than the most bearish estimates. Since these estimates are being made for 2022 - just one year from now - this wide discrepancy shows how hard it is to forecast exact revenue or earnings numbers for a company like NIO.</p>\n<p>For my estimate for 2025's revenues, I'll go with the analyst consensus for 2022, i.e. $8.7 billion, and then assume that revenues will grow at 1.5x the forecasted overall&nbsp;market growth rate of 27%&nbsp;in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. This would get us to $34 billion in revenue in 2026, i.e. five years from now. Since analysts are currently forecasting that revenue will grow by 110% this year, and by around 80% next year, some readers may argue that a 40% growth rate estimate for 2023-2026 is too conservative. But the major unknowns and uncertainties around competitive pressures, government policies, etc., mean that I think that projecting a higher growth rate for many years in advance might be too optimistic.</p>\n<p>What might a $34 billion top line mean for NIO's stock price? Right now, shares are valued at 11.6x this year's expected sales, which is almost perfectly in line with the valuation of XPeng (XPEV), and slightly lower than that of Tesla:</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/ae661b708eec89bcb50b06a1b6947280\" tg-width=\"635\" tg-height=\"501\"><span>Data by YCharts</span></p>\n<p>Looking at 2022, we see that shares are valued at around 7x expected revenues right now, whereas XPeng and Tesla trade at 6x and 9x their expected revenues right now. I highly doubt that the average EV company will be trading at high single-digit or even double-digit sales multiples in 2026, as this is just too much of a difference versus the 0.5-2x revenue multiples that legacy auto companies usually trade at. But when we assume that NIO, as an EV pure-play, will still trade at a premium to legacy auto in the middle of the 2020s, a 3x or 4x sales multiple might be a realistic estimate.</p>\n<p>When we go with 3.5x our revenue forecast for 2026, that would equate to a market capitalization of 119 billion - about 90% more than NIO's current market capitalization. NIO's share count has not been constant, however, and has, in fact, been rising considerably in the past. When we assume that the share count will rise by another 20% through 2026, to 1.9 billion, then shares would trade at $61 in 2026. This would mean that shares have an upside potential of around 55% over the next five years, or about 9% annually.</p>\n<p>That is not at all unattractive, but it also isn't an absolutely outstanding return. On top of that, NIO, like many other EV startups, is a company with above-average volatility, above-average risks, and above-average uncertainties. I thus would not call NIO overly attractive at current prices, as the forecasted return is solid, but goes hand in hand with considerable risks/uncertainties. One can, of course, argue that the forecasted growth is too high, or too low, or that the target sales multiple should be different in 2026. As a base case scenario, I feel like this is reasonable, however.</p>\n<p><b>Is NIO Stock A Buy Now?</b></p>\n<p>In retrospect, it is pretty clear that NIO at $10 about a year ago was a great opportunity, and that buying NIO at $67 at the peak earlier this year was a pretty bad decision. NIO today, in the high $30s, is somewhere in between these two extremes. I believe that, for long-term investors, NIO has a good chance of delivering solid returns over the years. At the same time, however, a lot of growth is priced into the stock right now, and it is not possible to forecast what competitors will do over the coming years, how accommodating governments will be to EVs, how well the rollout in Europe and other international markets will go, etc.</p>\n<p>I think NIO is more attractive than many other EV companies today, including many of the EV startups that don't have any viable products yet, and also versus Tesla (which is growing slower and still trades at a higher valuation). I would not be surprised to see NIO's stock deliver solid returns during the 2020s. I don't think that NIO is an absolute no-brainer buy today, however, as NIO still trades at a quite high valuation, for now, even factoring in its strong growth.</p>\n<p>For those that are enterprising and do not mind the risks and uncertainties around future product launches and international expansion, the stock's volatility, and so on, NIO could be a buy today. But it is not a good choice for everyone, and some may want to watch the EV race from the sidelines instead of putting money at risk at current valuations.</p>\n<p>The current analyst consensus share price target is $59, but I personally do not think this is realistic in the very near term. Based on expected revenues for 2021, this would put NIO at an 18x sales multiple, which is, I believe, not justified. The company enjoys growth tailwinds in its home market China and will increase its presence in overseas markets dramatically in the coming years. NIO is not as expensive as some other EV stocks, but shares are, on the other hand, still trading at a steep premium compared to how legacy auto companies are valued. Overall, NIO could return significant amounts of money in the coming years, but that is not a certainty, and investors should keep an eye on NIO's risk factors.\nNIO Stock Price\nNIO, Inc. is one of China's leading EV pure-plays, and that is reflected in its current valuation:\nData by YCharts\nAt slightly below $40, NIO is valued at more than $60 billion right now. This is about 40% less than the valuation shares have traded at when they peaked in early 2021, which reflects the declining enthusiasm for EV stocks, as most of NIO's peers, including Tesla (TSLA), have seen their shares come back as well. Still, for reference, NIO is valued around the same level as Ford (F) - which is a way larger company for now, in terms of revenue and vehicle sales.\nIs NIO A Good Long-Term Stock?\nNIO is active in the high-growth EV market and thus benefits a lot from market growth tailwinds. On top of that, NIO also has an attractive product portfolio that includes well-received models such as the ES6 and ES8 SUVs. What differentiates NIO from most other EV companies is its battery-swapping technology that allows consumers to get a fully-charged battery in a couple of minutes when visiting one of NIO's battery-swapping stations.\nThis means that the downtime when doing longer trips via an EV is reduced dramatically, as a battery-swap takes roughly as much time as refueling an ICE-powered car, whereas recharging most EVs takes well more than a couple of minutes. NIO's battery-swapping stations are being built out around China right now, although there is no meaningful footprint outside of NIO's home market yet.\nStill, NIO plans to roll out that service in international markets over the years, and once there is a large enough footprint of them to make a difference, this should be a unique selling point for NIO that will help differentiate its offerings from those of most peers. This could, I believe, result in further market share gains, which is why I wouldn't be surprised to see NIO grow at a rapid pace for the coming years.\nFor 2021, NIO will likely deliver revenue growth of more than 100% on the back of strong deliveries growth, as the analyst community is currently forecasting a 130% revenue increase this year. For Q2, NIO is expecting a growth rate of around 110% for its deliveries, following a massive 480% revenue increase during the first quarter. NIO thus is growing quicker than the EV market as a whole, and also quicker than peers such as Tesla, which will grow by around 50%-60% this year, according to the analyst community, which is about half the growth rate that is expected for NIO this year.\nMaintaining 100%+ growth forever is, of course, not possible, and NIO's growth will decline from that level in the coming years. But due to the fact that its products are well-liked in its home market, while the company is also ambitiously planning a major entry into the large European EV market, NIO should still deliver very considerable growth in the coming years.\nObvious growth tailwinds for a company, or even an industry, do not necessarily equate to massive share price upside, however. Investors should consider that NIO will, like all auto companies, be active in a cyclical, capital-intense industry where margins, on average, are not very high. This doesn't mean that NIO does not have long-term upside, but investors should keep in mind that a home run is not guaranteed when investing in NIO or other EV stocks - despite the fact that EV sales are growing quickly.\nNIO Stock Forecast In 5 Years\nNIO will grow its revenues by more than 100% this year, according to most estimates, but growth projections beyond that point are varying a lot more. Looking at 2022, for example, the analyst consensus for NIO's revenues is $8.7 billion, which would reflect a 78% increase versus the consensus for 2021. Estimates are in a wide range, however, as analyst estimates range from $7.3 billion to $11.9 billion in revenue in 2022.\nIn other words, the most bullish estimates see NIO deliver 60% higher revenues than the most bearish estimates. Since these estimates are being made for 2022 - just one year from now - this wide discrepancy shows how hard it is to forecast exact revenue or earnings numbers for a company like NIO.\nFor my estimate for 2025's revenues, I'll go with the analyst consensus for 2022, i.e. $8.7 billion, and then assume that revenues will grow at 1.5x the forecasted overall market growth rate of 27% in 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. This would get us to $34 billion in revenue in 2026, i.e. five years from now. Since analysts are currently forecasting that revenue will grow by 110% this year, and by around 80% next year, some readers may argue that a 40% growth rate estimate for 2023-2026 is too conservative. But the major unknowns and uncertainties around competitive pressures, government policies, etc., mean that I think that projecting a higher growth rate for many years in advance might be too optimistic.\nWhat might a $34 billion top line mean for NIO's stock price? Right now, shares are valued at 11.6x this year's expected sales, which is almost perfectly in line with the valuation of XPeng (XPEV), and slightly lower than that of Tesla:\nData by YCharts\nLooking at 2022, we see that shares are valued at around 7x expected revenues right now, whereas XPeng and Tesla trade at 6x and 9x their expected revenues right now. I highly doubt that the average EV company will be trading at high single-digit or even double-digit sales multiples in 2026, as this is just too much of a difference versus the 0.5-2x revenue multiples that legacy auto companies usually trade at. But when we assume that NIO, as an EV pure-play, will still trade at a premium to legacy auto in the middle of the 2020s, a 3x or 4x sales multiple might be a realistic estimate.\nWhen we go with 3.5x our revenue forecast for 2026, that would equate to a market capitalization of 119 billion - about 90% more than NIO's current market capitalization. NIO's share count has not been constant, however, and has, in fact, been rising considerably in the past. When we assume that the share count will rise by another 20% through 2026, to 1.9 billion, then shares would trade at $61 in 2026. This would mean that shares have an upside potential of around 55% over the next five years, or about 9% annually.\nThat is not at all unattractive, but it also isn't an absolutely outstanding return. On top of that, NIO, like many other EV startups, is a company with above-average volatility, above-average risks, and above-average uncertainties. I thus would not call NIO overly attractive at current prices, as the forecasted return is solid, but goes hand in hand with considerable risks/uncertainties. One can, of course, argue that the forecasted growth is too high, or too low, or that the target sales multiple should be different in 2026. As a base case scenario, I feel like this is reasonable, however.\nIs NIO Stock A Buy Now?\nIn retrospect, it is pretty clear that NIO at $10 about a year ago was a great opportunity, and that buying NIO at $67 at the peak earlier this year was a pretty bad decision. NIO today, in the high $30s, is somewhere in between these two extremes. I believe that, for long-term investors, NIO has a good chance of delivering solid returns over the years. At the same time, however, a lot of growth is priced into the stock right now, and it is not possible to forecast what competitors will do over the coming years, how accommodating governments will be to EVs, how well the rollout in Europe and other international markets will go, etc.\nI think NIO is more attractive than many other EV companies today, including many of the EV startups that don't have any viable products yet, and also versus Tesla (which is growing slower and still trades at a higher valuation). I would not be surprised to see NIO's stock deliver solid returns during the 2020s. I don't think that NIO is an absolute no-brainer buy today, however, as NIO still trades at a quite high valuation, for now, even factoring in its strong growth.\nFor those that are enterprising and do not mind the risks and uncertainties around future product launches and international expansion, the stock's volatility, and so on, NIO could be a buy today. But it is not a good choice for everyone, and some may want to watch the EV race from the sidelines instead of putting money at risk at current valuations.\nThe current analyst consensus share price target is $59, but I personally do not think this is realistic in the very near term. Based on expected revenues for 2021, this would put NIO at an 18x sales multiple, which is, I believe, not justified. In Europe, publishers have been lobbying European Union lawmakers to copy parts of the Australian law.\n\"Local news is on life support in this country,\" Democratic Representative David Cicilline of Rhode Island said in an interview.Mr Cicilline who chairs the House antitrust subcommittee is one of the sponsors.\n\"And so this approach creates an opportunity to protect a free press and make certain that they have the ability to negotiate the use content,\" he said.\nPublishers have long complained that Facebook and Google are profiting off their content by siphoning ad revenue and controlling valuable data about readers.\nMedia organisations argue that to gain negotiating leverage and level the playing field, they must be able to collectively bargain with the platforms, something that's prohibited under US antitrust laws.\nThe proposed legislation would grant them a safe harbour from that restriction, but it doesn't include a proposal for forced arbitration between the tech companies and the publishers, a provision that's included in the Australian law and which the tech companies fought.\nFacebook even went so far as to blackout its news feed in the country before winning some concessions.\nMs Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, who is leading the initiative in the Senate, said the legislation is necessary to help publishers better negotiate by giving them tools to counteract the power of Google and Facebook.\n\"The reason that we're brought to this moment is that they have an unfettered monopoly,\" Ms Klobuchar said in an interview. Google and Facebook \"thought they had so much power they could literally exit a major country,\" she added.\nMs Klobuchar said the legislation has a better shot at passage this time because of bipartisan interest in antitrust issues today.\nSenate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell will be a cosponsor of the Bill, she said. First, the value of the company's existing content library and capability to generate new content should never be underestimated. Second, Disney will always expand into new arenas to reach a wider audience. And when it does, the company nearly always does it right.</p>\n<p>While Disney is a great long-term pick, it appears to be poised to win over the short term as well. More Disney theme parks are reopening as pandemic fears subside. The company's delayed movie debuts will be shown in theaters that could actually have large audiences in them in the not-too-distant future. Augmented and virtual reality might take off in a massive way. Maybe one day you'll even be able to participate in the movies that you watch. Its financial position is exceptionally strong. It's delivered tremendous returns over the last two decades. And it has plenty of opportunities for future growth.</p>\n<p>To be sure, Intuitive Surgical faced some challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic. Non-urgent surgeries were delayed, resulting in Intuitive's consumable sales faltering. However, those were only temporary issues. The widespread availability of vaccines should help put the COVID-19 challenges to rest.</p>\n<p>In 2020, over 1.2 million procedures were performed using Intuitive Surgical's surgical robots. The company estimates that around 6 million procedures are done each year for which its technology already has regulatory clearances.</p>\n<p>That's just the tip of the iceberg for Intuitive's growth potential, though. Roughly 20 million soft-tissue surgeries are performed annually. As the company continues to innovate and win additional clearances, it will be able to target this larger market. Robotic surgery is still only in its early innings. Intuitive Surgical should be in a great position to dominate this expanding market for a long time to come.</p>\n<p><b>Mastercard</b></p>\n<p>Cash continues to go by the wayside.&nbsp;<b>Mastercard</b> (NYSE:MA) stands out as one of the best stocks to profit from this trend.</p>\n<p>The company, along with <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/V\">Visa</a></b>, enjoys a duopoly in processing credit card payments. This gives Mastercard a strong revenue stream. It also gives the company a formidable moat. Those are two attributes that make for great long-term buy-and-hold stocks.</p>\n<p>Mastercard is expanding its payment processing infrastructure beyond just credit cards. It recently acquired the corporate services business of European payment technology leader Nets. This deal gives Mastercard a clearing and settlement infrastructure for account-to-account digital payments. The company is also introducing new contactless solutions that use its payment processing capabilities for credit cards without requiring physical cards.</p>\n<p>E-commerce will continue to gain momentum in the coming years. So will contactless digital payments in brick-and-mortar locations. Mastercard is poised to win in both areas.
