Tesla got a good run last month. Expecting traders to start unloading soon to secure profit. How deep will this dip will depends on how many institutional investors are waiting to collect at lower price. Not going to be in a hurry to pick up bargains since the show only just started.

Not only Elon is selling, many big tech companies management are selling their shares. The reason might be due to taxes, personal reasons or just feeling the price is being overvalued. Hard for us to tell the real reason. No point to speculate. We can also sell part of our holdings and buy back later when cheaper. But never sell all. We might be just wrong in our guess

Please do note that he is only 80% done from his initial planned 10% sales. He mentioned that he sold enough but did not said he is done with selling. The media interpret as such. I think Elon will still sell more, but at a slower pace. Good or bad, it's up to individual to judge. 

Tech is the way forward as everything goes online now. But also have to admit that PE is high for many now. Just wait for a decent correction or only invest in those highly profitable tech companies. Avoid those with hype but no revenue to back it up.

Trending downward. For those who are convinced of its future, it's worth a buy. But do buy in batches. I actually bought some last night below 900 and is waiting for 800+ and 700+. May come, or may not come. 2022 might be a difficult year for stock market so please do not get over confidence and buy big. 

Meta is getting attractive compared to the other 2 that had ran ahead. Might be good to consider Meta if one is interested to have some positions in the Metaverse

Rebound after a big sell off. Need to observe if one is thinking of average down. But new investors, it's ok to buy a small position though. Regardless of new/old investors, hope everyone can do proper allocation/sizing for risk management. Alibaba is a good company but risk ahead is still real

Yes, if we use the current numbers, it's overvalued. It's the same as Amazon with it's crazy high PE few years ago. But Amazon had proven it's worth with its increasing revenues and improved numbers of AWS. So will Tesla able to do the same? One thing for sure, it's production numbers had ramped up and will continue to go up with Austin and Berlin. Only buy if one is convicted. No point to convince the non believers.

Buy on rumours, sell on news? Earnings still strong but may not beat forecast by a big margin this Q. Plus news on tapering in early Nov. Anticipating some weakness in market. Though I might be wrong too, as market love to prove me otherwise. Ha ha.

While many big Chinese companies valuation looks attractive, we need to remind ourselves that we can't use the same valuation metric we used on US or other companies. China companies have their hidden inherent risk. That's why we can't compare directly. (Amazon Vs BaBa). Be prudent and we will survive. Survival is the name of the game for the stock market

Stick with Apple. Even if they may not preform as well as 2021, they are definitely one of the potential company to outperform. Good product lineup, strong brand loyalty. Can't ask for much more than these.

Alibaba going up and down for a single day or few days is normal nowadays. Very volatile. Need to track its performance over many more days to see where it is going. One day price movement Just do not provide any good information, however big it might be.

Disney is a decent investment at current price. But do not expect 50-100% within few months or even 1 year. It will be a slow recovery as long as covid continue to restrict international travelling

Powell and Fed had prepared the market for months with all the hints of incoming taper. No wonder the market did not act negatively to it. In fact, it acted positive as the Fed had acted similar to everyone forecast. Goes to show even with bad news, if enough time and hints are given, it can be accepted with not much negative effects

They feel their shares are undervalued. That's why they are buying back. I do agreed though. If they cant make better use of their cash, it's better to give back as dividend or do shares buyback. Disclaimer : I'm vested

Tech and growth stocks will be slightly volatile as the yield starts to go up. Either stick with the strongest companies or just stay out for a while.

Elon tweets really do move prices. Just a simple statement of selling enough brings the price higher. Definitely a good news for many who are vested. Though we will need to be careful if Elon come out with negative statement since it will equally bring the price down. Happended a few times before so will not be surprised if it happen again

Debt ceiling will sure be raise as usual. Just a matter of how much each party can gain from this drama. People are used to this already. As for gov shutdown, there is many instances of it happening in the past. One more time, one less time don't make much difference. History also show that market can also go up during shutdown. Depends if the media want to cook up the story or not

Meta is one of the good company among tech that is still decently priced. Many other big tech like Apple and Microsoft had ran ahead and in the over bought region. Meta can be shortlisted for buying if there is any dip. DYODD
