That was up from the 2.1% pace estimated last month but was still the slowest since the second quarter of 2020, when the economy suffered a historic contraction in the wake of tough mandatory measures to contain the first wave of coronavirus cases.
\n
Economists polled by Reuters had forecast third-quarter GDP growth unrevised at a 2.1% pace. Eve's other co-CEO is Andre Stein, an Embraer executive for two decades.\nEmbraer will provide infrastructure to Eve, including the allocation of engineers to the projects, testing grounds and simulation equipment. \"This will allow us to lower the costs,\" DeMuro said in an interview.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":611,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":879429847,"gmtCreate":1636765302695,"gmtModify":1636765302695,"author":{"id":"3566095201042840","authorId":"3566095201042840","name":"chehe","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3566095201042840","authorIdStr":"3566095201042840"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/879429847","repostId":"2183125130","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":988,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":879429847,"gmtCreate":1636765302695,"gmtModify":1636765302695,"author":{"id":"3566095201042840","authorId":"3566095201042840","name":"chehe","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3566095201042840","authorIdStr":"3566095201042840"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/879429847","repostId":"2183125130","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":988,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":698901485,"gmtCreate":1640271158849,"gmtModify":1640271158917,"author":{"id":"3566095201042840","authorId":"3566095201042840","name":"chehe","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3566095201042840","authorIdStr":"3566095201042840"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Huat","listText":"Huat","text":"Huat","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/698901485","repostId":"1168708061","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1168708061","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1640268795,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1168708061?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-23 22:13","market":"us","language":"en","title":"U.S. auto sales to fall in December due to supply constraints - data","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1168708061","media":"finance.yahoo","summary":"Dec 23 - U.S. auto retail sales are expected to fall in December, as supply shortages and high demand have caused prices to skyrocket, consultants J.D. Growth prospects also took a hit from moderate Democrat Senator Joe Manchin's declaration on Sunday that he would not support President Joe Biden's signature $1.75 trillion domestic investment bill known as Build Back Better $(BBB.UK)$.\nGoldman Sachs on Sunday cut its GDP growth forecast for the first quarter to a 2% rate from a 3% pace.\nOther economists have followed suit, with a failure to pass the BBB legislation seen among others hurting consumer spending and slowing the labor market recovery.\n\"The surge in Covid cases is dampening momentum heading into 2022,\" said Kathy Bostjancic, chief U.S. financial economist at Oxford Economics in New York. \"There is some chance that BBB can be overhauled to satisfy Manchin's concerns, but at this stage the chances of passage have dropped considerably.\"","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":699,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":693724557,"gmtCreate":1640085624128,"gmtModify":1640085624192,"author":{"id":"3566095201042840","authorId":"3566095201042840","name":"chehe","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":7,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3566095201042840","authorIdStr":"3566095201042840"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"🙂","listText":"🙂","text":"🙂","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/693724557","repostId":"2193151350","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2193151350","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1640085180,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/2193151350?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-12-21 19:13","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Embraer flying taxi unit Eve, valued at $2.9 bln, to list on NYSE","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2193151350","media":"Reuters","summary":"SAO PAULO, Dec 21 (Reuters) - Brazilian planemaker Embraer SA has agreed to combine its electric air","content":"
SAO PAULO, Dec 21 (Reuters) - Brazilian planemaker Embraer SA has agreed to combine its electric aircraft subsidiary Eve with Zanite SPAC and list it on NYSE, the companies said on Tuesday.
\n
The transaction values Eve's equity at $2.9 billion and will include the combination with Zanite Acquisition Corp and an additional investment by a group that includes Embraer, Zanite, financial investors and strategic partners such as Azorra Aviation, BAE Systems, Republic Airways, Rolls-Royce and SkyWest Melbourne.
\n
After the transactions, Eve, listed on NYSE under the ticker EVEX, will have a $512 million cash position that will be used to develop Eve's flying taxi.
