Based on Nobel Prize-winning CRISPR/Cas9 technology, NTLA-2001 will stand out as the first curative treatment for ATTR amyloidosis. It is also the first investigational CRISPR therapy candidate to be administered systemically, via intravenous infusion, for precision editing of a gene in a target tissue in a human body.</p>\n<p>Interim data from the first six ATTRv-PN patients across two single-ascending dose cohorts of the Phase 1 study, showed that treatment with a single dose of NTLA-2001 (0.3 mg/kg) led to a mean reduction of 87% in serum TTR levels, with a maximum 96% serum TTR reduction by day 28, with dose-dependent response. Usually, the standard of care for ATTRv-PN generates TTR reductions of approximately 80%.</p>\n<p>It is worth noting here that the ongoing Phase 1 clinical study of NTLA-2001 is being conducted in the U.K. and New Zealand. Going on, NTLA-2001 is presently being studied only in the polyneuropathy subtype of the disease, per a Fierce Biotech article. However, per the same article, Intellia aims to cover the two other subtypes, namely, the wild type and the cardiomyopathy manifestation.</p>\n<h3>Latest Data Highlights Gene-Editing Potential</h3>\n<p>According to the sources, genome editing is a technique to alter or modify the DNA of a cell or organism. It uses an enzyme to cut the DNA at a particular sequence and then it is repaired by the cell, making a change to the sequence. As a result, the characteristics of a cell or organism are changed.</p>\n<p>Intellia’s gene editing study data is being considered a major milestone in the field as it highlighted for the first time that gene editing can work in a human. Notably, the results “decisively exceeded” analyst expectations, per a Fierce Biotech article. Going by the same article, Chardan Research commented that the data highlight that NTLA-2001 has the possibility of becoming a “functional cure” for ATTR amyloidosis. It is also expected to create some pressure on the FDA to relax some resistance to hosting gene editing trials in the United States, per the same article.</p>\n<h3>Genomic ETFs That Are Gaining</h3>\n<p>The release of positive data was widely cheered by investors. Apart from Intellia, which surged more than 55% on Jun 28 following the news, CRISPR Therapeutics CRSP was up 6.4%, Editas Medicine’s EDIT shares rose 5% and Beam Therapeutics BEAM was up 16%.</p>\n<p>According to analysts, growing demand for personalized medicine, solid investments and higher R&D activities will soon make genomics the next big thing in the investing space. In fact, going by a MarketsandMarkets report, the $18.9-billion global genomics market is expected to reach $35.7 billion by 2024, at a CAGR of 13.5%.</p>\n<p>Here we highlight a few ETFs that investors can keep a tab on:</p>\n<p><strong>ARK Genomic Revolution ETF </strong>ARKG — up 3.3% on Jun 28</p>\n<p>This is an actively-managed ETF focusing on companies likely to benefit from the extension and enhancement of the quality of human and other life by incorporating technological and scientific developments plus improvements and advancements in genomics into their business. The fund typically holds 30-50 stocks in its basket. The fund charges 0.75% in expense ratio. It has accumulated $9.26 billion in its asset base (read: Top-Performing Biotech ETFs of Last Week).</p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/EFFE\">Global X</a> Genomics & Biotechnology ETF </strong>GNOM — up 3%</p>\n<p>This is a new entrant in the space, having accumulated $248.5 million since its inception on Apr 5, 2019. It seeks to invest in companies that stand to benefit from advancements in the field of genomic science, such as companies involved in gene editing, genomic sequencing, genetic medicine/therapy, computational genomics and biotechnology. The product follows the Solactive Genomics Index, charging 50 bps in annual fees. It holds 40 stocks in its basket (read: 4 ETF Areas Surged Last Week).</p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/EEME\">iShares</a> Genomics Immunology and Healthcare ETF </strong>IDNA — up 1.9%</p>\n<p>This is another new entrant, which was launched in June 2019. Tracking the NYSE FactSet Global Genomics and Immuno Biopharma Index, the fund provides exposure to developed and emerging market companies that could gain from long-term growth and innovation in genomics, immunology and bioengineering. It holds a basket of 49 securities. href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/603883\">老百姓</a>来讲也能从中受到一些优惠,所以本身这个模式是对的,但是目前的问题是资本大佬们进场之后这种垄断、高补贴的非正常方式,让普通实体店家受不了,这打破了原有的市场秩序。</span></p><p><span>我们需要一个什么样的社区团购模式?互联网巨头们的创新应该指向哪里?这些问题的解答,远远没有尽头。</span></p><p><strong><span>01</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>社区团购兴起之后</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>客流下降是没法阻挡的大趋势</span></strong></p><p><span>我姓白,江苏人,我是85年的,现在主要是做水果生意,店在苏州,一共有9家门店,都是300平以上的卖场。我自己也做短视频,也发表一些言论,现在有4万多,5万不到的粉丝,我也发一些这种东西,很多人都会跟我反映,今年生意是做不下去的,首先是疫情,然后本来生意就不好,现在出现这个东西,好多人都想转型不做了,很多想创业的年轻人,想做这个行业的年轻人都退缩了,都不做了。</span></p><p><span>我刚开始进入这个行业的时候,实体经济正火,投进去的钱差不多半年可以回本,那个时候电商还没有涉及到生鲜领域,这几年物流、存储水平等条件提高虽然为电商生鲜提供了基础,但都还在实体店的承受能力范围内,大家你赚你的我赚我的。</span></p><p><span>而这次疫情打破了社区团购和我们这种门店的平衡,本土社区团购借着疫情赚了一笔,我们实体店是客流量大幅减少。</span><strong><span>之后美团、滴滴、<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/PDD\">拼多多</a>等资本进入,2个月的时间,本土的社区团购就“死伤一片”,因为这些资本巨头的东西很便宜,而用户又只认价格。</span></strong></p><p><span>我从数据上发现,店里今年基本上同比去年11月份,客流量下降了10%。</span></p><p><span>下降的一部分原因是今年确实消费下降,包括客单价,客流量都稍微下降了。但是</span><strong><span>社区团购兴起之后,数据下降的更明显一点。11月份时候,我9家店只有一家店是盈利的</span></strong><span>,其他每家店基本上都亏个两万块钱,刨去人工、水电、房租就亏了两万块钱左右。</span></p><p><span>我的一个给美团做供应链的朋友告诉我:美团在苏州的一个仓每天出货水果+蔬菜的订单量有7-8w单,这个数据接下来有可能还会继续增长。现在对于实体店来说,客流下降肯定是大趋势,这是没法阻挡的。</span></p><p><strong><span>02</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>个体户没有任何竞争力</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>只能眼睁睁看着</span></strong></p><p><span>其实现在,我们大部分的实体店都在观望。我们第一在观望这些平台到底能做成什么样子,因为如今各大平台现在还在打仗,处于价格补贴大战当中。他们到底能做成什么样子,我们一切未知。</span><strong><span>有一部分实体店已经加入了社区团购的提货点,但更多的实体店还在观望。</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>我们发现有些实体店在等国家政策,他们考虑到11月10号开始征集的反垄断意见,国家会不会在年前出台一些政策呢?一切需要等待。</span></strong></p><p><span>而至于实体店本身,到底怎样变革或者有何思路去挽回这些客流,我也不知道,很迷茫。</span></p><p><span>其实我们这些个体户的能力是非常非常有限的。我们个体户没有强大的资本,也没有很强大的能力和思路去做这些事情。在这种高补贴价格优势情况下怎么应对,我们都是底层老百姓,想不出太好的办法。</span><strong><span>大家基本上就没有任何竞争力,只能眼睁睁地看着。</span></strong></p><p><span>现在大部分的实体店都在缩减成本,比如之前租200平的现在降低到租100平,原来用10个人,现在降到5个人,还有一部分人过完年就有可能会把店关掉,因为确实没什么赚头。我有三家门面缩减了门脸分租出去了。</span></p><p><strong><span>03</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>生意看不到发展点</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>很焦虑,看不到前景</span></strong></p><p><span>去年我手里的店加起来有超过150个员工,但是今年有些店面不得不缩小门面,缩减员工,现在员工加起来,包括办公室的,包括总仓库的人员,加起来有一百二三十个员工,一百多个员工,一个月工资就得花个60万左右。这还不算房租、水电等等。</span></p><p><span>我们员工的平均工资在5000块钱左右,年龄在25以下偏多,因为25岁以上的人需要养家,这点钱是不够的。</span><span>在前几年做的时候,生意确实是比较好,那时候我从2015年开始做的时候,生意是比较好,员工也是比较积极的,因为公司在发展,一直在开店,员工跟干着也有劲,可以去当店长,甚至可以去入股,但是现在事业停滞不前,公司一直走下坡路的时候,他们现在到手也就五千多块钱,租个房子,抛去一天的吃喝拉撒,其实到头来剩不了多少钱。现在业绩不行,一直在走下坡路。包括我自己一直都很焦虑,看不到前景。</span></p><p><strong><span>现在其实关键焦虑的在哪里?焦虑的就是你的生意看不到发展点,你可能今年赚个150万,明年可能就赚100万,但可能后年慢慢变成80万,但如果到了80万的话,我的支出可能就抵不上我的收入了。</span></strong><span>我虽然开了9家店,但压力还是很大,家里小孩现在2岁多,快要到上学的年纪,我光还房贷,就要还到40多万,如果哪天收入不稳定,因为做生意现在不确定性因素太多了,如果你收入未来5年没法持续上升的话,生活会变得非常焦虑的。我做水果店有5年了,到现在这9家店成本还没有收回来。</span></p><p><span>我们店里大多是一些年轻人,一个月虽然到手有5000多,但除去房租、吃饭等等开销,到头来剩不下来多少。一个年轻人在外打工,一年下来就攒个2万块钱,而且是在非常省吃俭用的情况下。</span></p><p><strong><span>04</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>社区团购本身是正确的</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>但资本垄断打破了原有市场秩序</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>我是不会考虑和社区团购这些巨头合作的,因为首先它跟我的产品,卖的东西是高度重叠的,它主要也是卖生鲜,我也是主要卖生鲜,然后我的东西在品质上是有优势的,但是在价格上完全打不过它。</span></strong><span>虽然可能说有的其它店和它合作,可能会说带一些人流过来,买一些你其它的东西,但是我身边很多人跟他们合作完之后,其实第一带不了多少流量,第二,很多客户进了店之后不会买你的其它东西,比如你跟它水果店合作以后,它线上有水果卖,所以他不会买你的水果,有些便利店,我有朋友做便利店烟酒店的,他也不会买你的东西,因为它平台上什么都有。</span></p><p><span>一天下来,当初说好10个点到十几个点,有一个提货的费用,但是提货的人很多,但是金额非常非常低,就是每一单的单价都在两三块钱,两三块钱,即使一天有很多人来提货,其实也赚不了多少钱,你说10%的话,100个人过来就300块,10%,也就30块钱。</span></p><p><strong><span>合作以后我们就是纯粹的提货点,有的实体商家寄希望于他们带来客流量,带动一下店里面其它单品的消费。</span></strong><span>比如他到我们店里买了<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AAPL\">苹果</a>之后,他在线上下单买了苹果之后,到我们店里面可能买点橘子买点其它的,但是都不太现实。</span></p><p><span>我的朋友有在给他们做供应链,一天的话,要往苏州仓发几万单的水果和蔬菜,他们做供应链其实利润是可以的,是有利润的。他们是不亏的,然后亏的只是他们平台在补贴。有一些同行还在做批发市场、做档口,因为实体店生意不好了之后,他们批发生意也非常非常差。我们这一条线都受影响,包括水果产地那边也会受影响,因为它卖的价格实在太便宜,也会影响到产地的收购价格。</span></p><p><strong><span>现在很多人投诉就是美团、拼多多平台上面出来的东西很差,其实就是他们的很多东西标准远远低于我们实体店卖货的标准,很多实体店这种东西是不卖的,因为这种东西太差,但是它成本低,买到手只需要5毛钱,1毛钱,1块钱,客户可能也不会有太大的期望。</span></strong><span>而且现在做供应链的,对于他们来说是有钱赚的,他们不会说我为了你们实体店不去给他们供货,不可能。</span></p><p><span>其实我认为,社区团购是正确的模式,不是很差的模式。它都是线上预售,下线配送,中间节省了物流成本、配送成本等等,对于老百姓来讲也能从中受到一些优惠,所以本身这个模式是对的,但是</span><strong><span>目前的问题是资本大佬们进场之后这种垄断、高补贴的非正常方式,让普通实体店家受不了,这打破了原有的市场秩序。</span></strong></p><p><span>我发现,这些互联网社区团购对于年轻一代的创业选择也正产生着很大的影响。今年上半年疫情影响了一拨人,很多人因为疫情因素下岗了,或者做生意亏损了。</span><strong><span>大家在上半年的时候还会想想做做水果店,因为门槛比较低。现在有社区团购出现之后,我身边有很多想创业的年轻人,就不会考虑这个项目了。</span></strong></p><p><span>- href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/PDD\">拼多多</a>等资本进入,2个月的时间,本土的社区团购就“死伤一片”,因为这些资本巨头的东西很便宜,而用户又只认价格。</span></strong></p><p><span>我从数据上发现,店里今年基本上同比去年11月份,客流量下降了10%。</span></p><p><span>下降的一部分原因是今年确实消费下降,包括客单价,客流量都稍微下降了。但是</span><strong><span>社区团购兴起之后,数据下降的更明显一点。11月份时候,我9家店只有一家店是盈利的</span></strong><span>,其他每家店基本上都亏个两万块钱,刨去人工、水电、房租就亏了两万块钱左右。</span></p><p><span>我的一个给美团做供应链的朋友告诉我:美团在苏州的一个仓每天出货水果+蔬菜的订单量有7-8w单,这个数据接下来有可能还会继续增长。现在对于实体店来说,客流下降肯定是大趋势,这是没法阻挡的。</span></p><p><strong><span>02</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>个体户没有任何竞争力</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>只能眼睁睁看着</span></strong></p><p><span>其实现在,我们大部分的实体店都在观望。我们第一在观望这些平台到底能做成什么样子,因为如今各大平台现在还在打仗,处于价格补贴大战当中。他们到底能做成什么样子,我们一切未知。</span><strong><span>有一部分实体店已经加入了社区团购的提货点,但更多的实体店还在观望。</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>我们发现有些实体店在等国家政策,他们考虑到11月10号开始征集的反垄断意见,国家会不会在年前出台一些政策呢?一切需要等待。</span></strong></p><p><span>而至于实体店本身,到底怎样变革或者有何思路去挽回这些客流,我也不知道,很迷茫。</span></p><p><span>其实我们这些个体户的能力是非常非常有限的。我们个体户没有强大的资本,也没有很强大的能力和思路去做这些事情。在这种高补贴价格优势情况下怎么应对,我们都是底层老百姓,想不出太好的办法。</span><strong><span>大家基本上就没有任何竞争力,只能眼睁睁地看着。</span></strong></p><p><span>现在大部分的实体店都在缩减成本,比如之前租200平的现在降低到租100平,原来用10个人,现在降到5个人,还有一部分人过完年就有可能会把店关掉,因为确实没什么赚头。我有三家门面缩减了门脸分租出去了。</span></p><p><strong><span>03</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>生意看不到发展点</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>很焦虑,看不到前景</span></strong></p><p><span>去年我手里的店加起来有超过150个员工,但是今年有些店面不得不缩小门面,缩减员工,现在员工加起来,包括办公室的,包括总仓库的人员,加起来有一百二三十个员工,一百多个员工,一个月工资就得花个60万左右。这还不算房租、水电等等。</span></p><p><span>我们员工的平均工资在5000块钱左右,年龄在25以下偏多,因为25岁以上的人需要养家,这点钱是不够的。</span><span>在前几年做的时候,生意确实是比较好,那时候我从2015年开始做的时候,生意是比较好,员工也是比较积极的,因为公司在发展,一直在开店,员工跟干着也有劲,可以去当店长,甚至可以去入股,但是现在事业停滞不前,公司一直走下坡路的时候,他们现在到手也就五千多块钱,租个房子,抛去一天的吃喝拉撒,其实到头来剩不了多少钱。现在业绩不行,一直在走下坡路。包括我自己一直都很焦虑,看不到前景。</span></p><p><strong><span>现在其实关键焦虑的在哪里?焦虑的就是你的生意看不到发展点,你可能今年赚个150万,明年可能就赚100万,但可能后年慢慢变成80万,但如果到了80万的话,我的支出可能就抵不上我的收入了。</span></strong><span>我虽然开了9家店,但压力还是很大,家里小孩现在2岁多,快要到上学的年纪,我光还房贷,就要还到40多万,如果哪天收入不稳定,因为做生意现在不确定性因素太多了,如果你收入未来5年没法持续上升的话,生活会变得非常焦虑的。我做水果店有5年了,到现在这9家店成本还没有收回来。</span></p><p><span>我们店里大多是一些年轻人,一个月虽然到手有5000多,但除去房租、吃饭等等开销,到头来剩不下来多少。一个年轻人在外打工,一年下来就攒个2万块钱,而且是在非常省吃俭用的情况下。</span></p><p><strong><span>04</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>社区团购本身是正确的</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>但资本垄断打破了原有市场秩序</span></strong></p><p><strong><span>我是不会考虑和社区团购这些巨头合作的,因为首先它跟我的产品,卖的东西是高度重叠的,它主要也是卖生鲜,我也是主要卖生鲜,然后我的东西在品质上是有优势的,但是在价格上完全打不过它。</span></strong><span>虽然可能说有的其它店和它合作,可能会说带一些人流过来,买一些你其它的东西,但是我身边很多人跟他们合作完之后,其实第一带不了多少流量,第二,很多客户进了店之后不会买你的其它东西,比如你跟它水果店合作以后,它线上有水果卖,所以他不会买你的水果,有些便利店,我有朋友做便利店烟酒店的,他也不会买你的东西,因为它平台上什么都有。</span></p><p><span>一天下来,当初说好10个点到十几个点,有一个提货的费用,但是提货的人很多,但是金额非常非常低,就是每一单的单价都在两三块钱,两三块钱,即使一天有很多人来提货,其实也赚不了多少钱,你说10%的话,100个人过来就300块,10%,也就30块钱。</span></p><p><strong><span>合作以后我们就是纯粹的提货点,有的实体商家寄希望于他们带来客流量,带动一下店里面其它单品的消费。</span></strong><span>比如他到我们店里买了<a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AAPL\">苹果</a>之后,他在线上下单买了苹果之后,到我们店里面可能买点橘子买点其它的,但是都不太现实。</span></p><p><span>我的朋友有在给他们做供应链,一天的话,要往苏州仓发几万单的水果和蔬菜,他们做供应链其实利润是可以的,是有利润的。他们是不亏的,然后亏的只是他们平台在补贴。有一些同行还在做批发市场、做档口,因为实体店生意不好了之后,他们批发生意也非常非常差。我们这一条线都受影响,包括水果产地那边也会受影响,因为它卖的价格实在太便宜,也会影响到产地的收购价格。</span></p><p><strong><span>现在很多人投诉就是美团、拼多多平台上面出来的东西很差,其实就是他们的很多东西标准远远低于我们实体店卖货的标准,很多实体店这种东西是不卖的,因为这种东西太差,但是它成本低,买到手只需要5毛钱,1毛钱,1块钱,客户可能也不会有太大的期望。</span></strong><span>而且现在做供应链的,对于他们来说是有钱赚的,他们不会说我为了你们实体店不去给他们供货,不可能。</span></p><p><span>其实我认为,社区团购是正确的模式,不是很差的模式。它都是线上预售,下线配送,中间节省了物流成本、配送成本等等,对于老百姓来讲也能从中受到一些优惠,所以本身这个模式是对的,但是</span><strong><span>目前的问题是资本大佬们进场之后这种垄断、高补贴的非正常方式,让普通实体店家受不了,这打破了原有的市场秩序。</span></strong></p><p><span>我发现,这些互联网社区团购对于年轻一代的创业选择也正产生着很大的影响。今年上半年疫情影响了一拨人,很多人因为疫情因素下岗了,或者做生意亏损了。</span><strong><span>大家在上半年的时候还会想想做做水果店,因为门槛比较低。现在有社区团购出现之后,我身边有很多想创业的年轻人,就不会考虑这个项目了。</span></strong></p><p><span>-
