If you search for the similar local word in their Thai/Taiwan/Indonesia/Malaysia/Vietnam websites, that’s easily more than 200/200/1k/800/1k per month. And Brazil has what 200m population. Population for Thai/Taiwan/Indonesia/Malaysia/Vietnam are 70/20/200/30/100 million. In comparison to MELI’s Brazilian site. MELI does not report monthly sales for individual stores. It does report the number of reviews. The top store for helmet has 5,000 reviews while that of Shopee Brazil is only 500. Prices at both sites are all around 75 BRL. Good luck competing with MELI and staying profitable. MELI is profiting. Shopee is incurring huge loss.
