The reason is that TCM theory is not so much science as culture. The science that is commonly referred to now has its origin in the West, and its thinking and argumentation methods are both Western and part of Western culture. Traditional Chinese medicine is part of Chinese culture. Despite its efficacy, and when no Western medicine was introduced to China, Chinese people used Chinese medicine to treat and prevent various diseases and made it the world’s largest population country. However, it was brainwashed by Western culture. People still think that Chinese medicine is unscientific. In fact, it is not only Chinese medicine that needs to be reformed and perfected. Science under the leadership of Western culture also needs to be reformed and perfected.
