Sono portrays itself as an economic family car. it is user friendly and also have the function for your to charge the car manually let's say if you find solar power isn't sufficient.  There's also opportunity for car owner to make money through car sharing.  Eg if the owner is going for holiday, they can simply rent out the car through mobile app.

the potential of this car to sell like hotcakes is there esp there are many ppl out there who wants low budget. easy maintenance. simple layout car to go through day by day, at the same time they can rent out the car when it's not in use.

their strength is their patented thin solar panel embedded in fiberglass panels. This was a very tricky technical problem to solve. yet they did it. This alone is worth very very big money.
