$ESR-REIT(J91U.SI)$and $CACHE LOGISTICS TRUST(K2LU.SI)$proposed a S$1.4 billion merger where ESR will acquire all of ARA Logos units in exchange for cash and new units.

Merged entity will be called ESR-Logos Reit and effected by a trust scheme arrangement. ARA Logos holders will get $0.095 in cash per share and1.6765 new ESR reit share issued at S$0.51 per share.

If merger is approved, the combined entity will have 87 properties in SG and Australia and 41 properties owned via investment funds in australia.. 

This should be interesting to watch.. Most of their properties are industrial properties which is resilient against market downturn..

    not sure if you agree. i prefer them to own actual property than via investment funds.   the reason ESR need to find a partner is Because it needs overseas exposure for longer lease.

      wise man / lady you are [得意] just like crypto / gold silver,  i believe in owning the real deal than trading on paper with brokerage houses.

      I agree.. owning actual properties is the real purpose for REITs.. anything else is just a distraction… because it just add additional middleman to siphon off the earnings..
