I’ve been to Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia and can tell you Grab is everywhere out there. A lot of scooters which is predominantly how folks get around out there. This is huge.
Also, Uber attempted to have business in SEA and ended up selling what they had to Grab because they realized they couldn’t compete. It will take time and a bit of clean up on the business model but I wouldn’t worry about this investment at all. There is so much more potential in SEA as those economies are rising very fast and GRAB has a lot more growth opportunities still in SEA.$Grab Holdings(GRAB)$ $Uber(UBER)$
