Just thinking out loud...Lisa recently reaffirmed closing the xilinx deal by year end, which is only a few weeks away. Now suppose you’re a big fund that wants to take advantage of the arbitrage, but also wants to get into xilinx cheaper. You probably couldn’t push xilinx’s stock price lower since the higher AMD price the more investors would pay for xilinx due to the 1.76 ratio. You would almost have to push AMD’s price lower to get into xilinx lower. Could the huge drop (bigger than Nvidia’s) on ARM lawsuit news just been FUD using that headline by funds/MMs to get xilinx price lower via AMD stock drop to get in cheaper prior to imminent merger closing?
Any thoughts...could that explain some of the AMD weakness recently, even compared to NVDA?$AMD(AMD)$$Meta(CASH)$
