The amount is a small issue. But the reputation of being sued by a bank is a bigger one. They say money can be earned easily, however, once trust disappear, money cant be earn as easy as before. No doubt Evergrande was once the top few companies, however, accumlative issues have taken a toll of them. Poor decision-making personnel brought out the worst in them.

This could be an opportunity for those who believe in Evergrande as it is a discount. For others, they believe the price will head downwards if no more news pop by. For neutrals like me, I dont think it will of any good for Evergrande, but will add this to shortlist, monitor it. Once there is any positive news or outlook, then we will buy into it. Else, it will be another forgone conclusion.
