one of the key consideration is whether the market prefer crypto over gold as hedge. with the recent crackdown on crypto by China, some investors may revert back to gold as hedge. there are different advantages when we look at $Barrick Gold Corp(GOLD)$ but they also have bigger capital outlays and thus risks.it will be important to consider some defensive stocks in anticipation of market downturns.
