$DraftKings Inc.(DKNG)$ A fantasy sports and sports betting company, DraftKings, is not an unknown name. Unknown or popularly known is a key question since DraftKings isnt that active in Asia. Its focus right now is still back in the US though we would have known this counter due to Cathie Woods loading up on DraftKings in a famous buy the dip when DraftKings was around 52 USD. Interested readers should do a more thorough check on this but a key question then is should you follow the coattail of Cathie Woods and Ark... This is an important question, which I cannot answer for you since I dont track her entry timing as well as the investment returns of Ark over the last 5 years.

With a few business engines, including sportsbook, daily fantasy sports (where new contests are added daily?), casino, etc, DraftKings seems to be on track given the social development during and post COVID era. But is this really the way to go since the stimulus checks are no longer available for the players to take the chance to put it to work via such activities. I have not done any sports betting before but what I can say is I am aware that there are definitely groups of people who like to take a gamble in their favorite sports. Whether is this morally right or wrong would be another discussion point that will not be covered in this article. Each individual would have his or her moral values to determine what they would do. 

Wait before we go further, what is fantasy sport? A fantasy sport is a type of game, often played using the Internet, where participants assemble imaginary or virtual teams composed of proxies of real players of a professional sport. OK so this is it isnt it? There should be a level of attraction that this game has on people though. Is there a moat or will there ever be one? 

 Well one thing for sure is that the monthly unique payers is growing and average revenue per MUP is growing as well.. But I am not all in favour of this stock since the acquisition costs do not seem to be that cheap:-

The increase in revenue figures comes at the expense of accelerating costs and even stock based compensation is jumping up significantly. While many companies argue that stock based compensation should be adjusted out, I do not totally agree with this approach under a non-GAAP approach. 

Is stock current pricing attractive given that there is initiative like marketplace on DraftKings to grow non fungible tokens ("NFT")? I like the idea of marketplace but it has yet to prove highly attractive given current stage of development. Nevertheless, I do note that there are trading calls for DraftKings to go up to 74 USD. WIll I chase it? NO no no... I just simply do not like its pricing. Lets see if it will ever pull back to below 52 USD and 42 USD before I take another careful look in future. The question is will it pull back or Ark can do the heavy lifting to bring it to the SKY? I am not going to bet on this.
