The stock closed at $1,145 on Nov. 30, and was up 62% for 2021, following a 743% increase during 2020. Tesla trades for 136 times the consensus 2022 earnings estimate of $8.43 a share among analysts polled by FactSet. In comparison, the price-to-earnings ratio of the benchmark S&P 500 Index, of which Tesla is a member, is 20.8.</p>\n<p>Amazon.com Inc. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AMZN\">$(AMZN)$</a> provides an instructive example of a stock that many investors had steered clear of for decades because of its high P/E valuation. Here's a chart showing the internet retailer's forward P/E ratio (based on rolling 12-month consensus earnings estimates) over the past 20 years:</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/ddcec3e4358d6028a37f6bfce1643c77\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"609\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"><span>FactSet</span></p>\n<p>Amazon's average forward P/E during that time is 99.5. The scale reflects Amazon's valuation spikes when analysts expected the company to show low profits as it plowed its cash flow into business expansion, including industry-leading delivery times for its ecommerce platform and Amazon Web Services.</p>\n<p>Now look at 20-year total returns for Amazon and the index:</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a855237f2518a693194b6c65bde4e54a\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"609\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"><span>FactSet</span></p>\n<p>That's a 30,881% return for Amazon. You can see plenty of dips or weak periods in the chart, when investors had to be patient, such as the period between the peak late in September 2018 and April 2020, when the stock finally pushed ahead.</p>\n<p>The bottom line is that continued expansion at a rapid pace can help a company \"grow into its valuation,\" to use Black's words.</p>\n<p>Even now, Amazon trades at nearly 69 times the consensus forward earnings estimate. It's still a high P/E and maybe some of the same naysayers from five, 10, 15 or 20 years ago continue to believe it's too late to jump on the bandwagon.</p>\n<p>The Tesla 'controversy'</p>\n<p>Black said he likes stocks with \"controversy.\"</p>\n<p>In the case of Tesla, he said the debate is whether the company can maintain its electric-vehicle market share while global EV adoption grows. He expects Tesla to increase its total addressable market <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/TAM\">$(TAM)$</a> because of new products, including the Cybertruck, expected in late 2022, and a new Tesla compact model expected in 2023, along with increased production in existing factories and the opening of new factories in Texas and Germany.</p>\n<p>All the numbers that follow are for battery electric cars, or BEVs. That means plug-in hybrids are excluded.</p>\n<p>Tesla sold an estimated 386,000 electric cars during the first half of 2021, according to EV-Volumes.com, which estimates sales of BEVs will total 4 million for all of 2021. If Tesla were to maintain the same pace of sales for the second half of 2021, its BEV market share for the year would be an estimated 19.3%.</p>\n<p>Black's case for Tesla's value today</p>\n<p>Based on his own estimates, which incorporate third-quarter numbers provided to the Future Fund team by Bloomberg, EV-Volumes.com and other industry sources, Black expects the world BEV adoption rate to climb to 6% in 2021 from 3% in 2020, and continue rising to 30% by 2025. Meanwhile, he expects Tesla to hold a 21% market share.</p>\n<p>Those estimates point to a 56% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for industry BEV sales, with a 55% CAGR for Tesla's sales. Black also estimates a 59% CAGR for Tesla's earnings per share through 2025.</p>\n<p>Black's estimate for Tesla's market share is higher than EV-Volumes' numbers for the first half of 2021 indicate because of supply constraints.</p>\n<p>\"You will wait six months now if you order a new Tesla. When the new factories come online, they can gain more share,\" he said.</p>\n<p>These <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/TWTR\">Twitter</a> postings include data backing Black's estimates:</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/bbcb28726727d46f32b8be0fa1436929\" tg-width=\"1401\" tg-height=\"605\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"></p>\n<p>Going further, Black estimates Tesla will earn $12 a share in 2022, which is well ahead of the consensus EPS estimate of $8.43. More controversy, but this underlines his investment thesis. He expects EPS to keep growing to $40 in 2025. Based on the closing price of $1,145 on Nov. 30, that would make for a P/E of 28.6 -- not very high for such a rapidly growing company.</p>\n<p>The expectation of continued rapid growth for Tesla explains not only Black's enthusiasm for the stock but that of other money managers.</p>\n<p>Deeper long-term thesis</p>\n<p>Stepping back from the numbers, Black listed what he called four \"ingredients\" for electric vehicles: battery range, performance, technology and safety.</p>\n<p>While the competition is catching up on battery range, he said that for performance and technology, Tesla is still ahead of the competition. He added that Tesla has, by far, the highest number of fast-charging stations available, and that drivers of competing EVs can buy low-cost adapters to use Tesla's stations and possibly feel envious of Tesla owners while waiting.</p>\n<p>For safety, he said Tesla's track record is good, and cited General Motors Co.'s <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/GM\">$(GM)$</a> recall of Chevrolet Bolts for battery fire risk, and GM's instructions to customers on how to limit that risk</p>\n<p>Finally, Black addressed concerns that increasing competition in the EV space would hurt Tesla's market share or make it less profitable.</p>\n<p>Black cited Amazon as an example, citing skeptical investors years ago who had expected traditional competitors to take back market share from Amazon as they built-out their on online sales capabilities. We all know this didn't happen.</p>\n<p>One thing we can all be sure of is that the world will continue to change rapidly for all vehicle manufacturers as buying habits change and governments continue to push for a rapid transition to EVs.</p>\n<p>Black cited the Chinese government's cooperation with Tesla, which opened its factory in Shanghai in 2019, as a long-term boon not only for Tesla, but for China's entire EV market.</p>\n<p>\"You throw a catfish in with all the competitors to keep them aggressive,\" he said, referring to this New York Times article.</p>\n<p>A new catalyst for Tesla and its competitors in the U.S. market might be just around the corner. President Biden's \"Build Back Better\" spending package, if passed by Congress, is likely to lift the 200,000-vehicle limit on $7,500 per-vehicle tax credits for EVs. Tesla and GM have exceeded that limit.</p>\n<p>Black expects the two new factories to double Tesla's production capacity. Near term, the completion of Tesla CEO Elon Musk's sale of 10% of his Tesla shares may relieve pressure on the share price. The S&P 500 is also included on the chart, with what appears to be a flat line at the bottom. The scale reflects Amazon's valuation spikes when analysts expected the company to show low profits as it plowed its cash flow into business expansion, including industry-leading delivery times for its ecommerce platform and Amazon Web Services.\nNow look at 20-year total returns for Amazon and the index:\nFactSet\nThat's a 30,881% return for Amazon. You can see plenty of dips or weak periods in the chart, when investors had to be patient, such as the period between the peak late in September 2018 and April 2020, when the stock finally pushed ahead.\nThe bottom line is that continued expansion at a rapid pace can help a company \"grow into its valuation,\" to use Black's words.\nEven now, Amazon trades at nearly 69 times the consensus forward earnings estimate. It's still a high P/E and maybe some of the same naysayers from five, 10, 15 or 20 years ago continue to believe it's too late to jump on the bandwagon.\nThe Tesla 'controversy'\nBlack said he likes stocks with \"controversy.\"\nIn the case of Tesla, he said the debate is whether the company can maintain its electric-vehicle market share while global EV adoption grows. He expects Tesla to increase its total addressable market $(TAM)$ because of new products, including the Cybertruck, expected in late 2022, and a new Tesla compact model expected in 2023, along with increased production in existing factories and the opening of new factories in Texas and Germany.\nAll the numbers that follow are for battery electric cars, or BEVs. That means plug-in hybrids are excluded.\nTesla sold an estimated 386,000 electric cars during the first half of 2021, according to EV-Volumes.com, which estimates sales of BEVs will total 4 million for all of 2021. CEO Matt Furlong, working with Chairman Ryan Cohen (who founded online powerhouse Chewy.com (<b>CHWY</b>) detailed the progress being made on those efforts in the company’smost-recent earnings call.</p>\n<p>What Exactly Is GameStop Doing?</p>\n<p>Furlong said that his company has been refocused on the long-term goals: “delighting customers and delivering value for stockholders.”</p>\n<p>To actually achieve those fairly vague objectives, he explained that his company has taken multiple steps in the second quarter to fortify its infrastructure and technology.</p>\n<p>\"We are focused on positioning GameStop to scale while obsessing over competitive pricing, expansive selection, and fast shipping. Our actions included continuing to add technology talent across the organization, including individuals with experience in e-commerce, UI, UX, operations, and supply chain.</p>\n<p>\"We also continued to expand our fulfillment network by adding a 530,000-square-foot facility in Reno, Nev. This new facility, which is expected to be operational next year, will position us to further expand selection and expedite shipping.\"</p>\n<p>That Reno facility gives GameStop a fulfillment network that operates on both coasts as it joins another recently completed 700,000-square-foot facility in York, Pa., which began shipping orders during the quarter. That allowed the company to increase the selection of products it can ship across a variety of categories including consumer electronics, collectibles, toys, and more.</p>\n<p>Fulfillment isn’t the only area the company has chosen on which to focus. GameStop has also been investing in customer service, according to its CEO.</p>\n<p>“We signed a lease on a new customer care facility in South Florida and started adding talent to that team as we continue to build out customer care operation in the U.S.,” Furlon said.</p>\n<p>It should also be noted that while GameStop’s sales may not justify its valuation, it has used its higher share price to shore up its finances.</p>\n<p>“We further strengthened our balance sheet and capital position by raising more than $1.1 billion in net proceeds from the June ATM program,” he added.</p>\n<p>The company has just over $1.7 billion in available cash, an increase of over $1 billion since the year-ago quarter.</p>\n<p>That comes from a $1.1 billion stock sale. GameStop has not tapped its asset-based revolving credit line and its only long-term debt is $47.5 million unsecured low-interest loan “associated with the French government's response to COVID-19,” according to the CEO.</p>\n<p>Making Money on GameStop</p>\n<p>The GameStop meme phenomenon happened because a group of Reddit users from the WallStreetBets channel noticed that there was a very high level of institutional shorts on the stock.</p>\n<p>Betting against short sellers when a stock is heavily shorted can (and, in this case did) push the stock higher, but shorting comes with risks, according to Real Money Pro contributor Doug Kass.</p>\n<p>“Shorting individual stocks exposes a short seller to tail risks associated with the sometimes lunatic trading at WallStreetBets, Robinhood et al, which routinely target stocks for short squeezes,” he wrote.</p>\n<p>“The market is littered with examples of this — like Digital World Acquisition Corp. If not your entire debt burden, perhaps you could pay off everything but your fixed-rate, low interest mortgage?</p>\n<p>It might seem crazy to pay off debt when interest rates are so low and the market has seen such huge recent rises, but that could very well be the best time to do so. After all, if interest rates rise, that could both increase your debt service costs <i>and </i>cause at least some of your stocks to drop, catching you with a double-whammy. When you add in the fact your debt service costs need to be paid even if your stocks are way down, you get a situation where reducing or eliminating debt looks like a smart move.</p>\n<h2>No. 2: Build a cash buffer</h2>\n<p>In a world where inflation is running over 6%, having a lot of cash sitting around earning less than 1% might seem crazy. When viewed only on that basis, it is. When you recognize that market crashes and job losses often go hand in hand, having a decent cash buffer can be viewed as an insurance policy. At least for a little while, it can keep you from being forced to sell at the low due to lost income and buy you time to find alternatives.</p>\n<p>That said, with inflation running as hot as it is and cash returns failing to keep up, it might not be a good idea to hold too much cash. As a result, consider the standard guidance of three-to-six months' worth of basic living expenses as a reasonable \"goldilocks\" target.</p>\n<h2>No. 3: Plan for the big expenses coming your way soon</h2>\n<p>As a general rule, money you expect to spend within the next five years does not belong in stocks. If you have a big purchase coming up in that time window -- say a new car, a child's college education, or a bucket list vacation -- a market sitting near all-time highs can give you a great opportunity to sell.</p>\n<p>It's OK to sell enough stock to cover the costs of what you're buying in that window and any taxes you'll owe on your stock sale. Then, put the remaining money in something like a CD or Treasury or investment grade bonds that mature just before you'll need the money.</p>\n<p>No, you won't make stupendously high returns on that money, but you will also sleep more soundly knowing that a mere market crash won't automatically derail your near-term plans for that cash.</p>\n<h2>No. 4: Know a decent estimate of the value of what you own</h2>\n<p>Ultimately, stocks are nothing more than fractional ownership stakes in companies. Yes, their market prices can rise or fall a whole bunch in a very short period of time, but in the long run, stocks are tied to the cash generating capability of the businesses behind those shares.</p>\n<p>Using the discounted cash flow model and reasonable projections for the future of the company, you can estimate what that fair value would be. You can easily adjust your assumptions for a more aggressive growth future or a more pessimistic one as well, to get a feel for a range of potential values. You can then compare your model with the market's price and use that to inform your buy, sell, or hold decisions.</p>\n<p>If a company you own is priced so high by the market that even your most aggressive estimates for its future can't keep up, then it might be a good idea to sell it. On the flip side, if a company you own is available for such a dirt cheap price that even your pessimistic estimate is above the market's price for it, you might want to consider buying even more.</p>\n<p>The beauty of the discounted cash flow model is that it can help you make those buy/sell/hold decisions regardless of what the overall market is doing. As a result, it can help you both prepare for a crash by figuring out which companies to consider selling and invest through a crash by figuring out which ones are the biggest bargains worthy of buying.</p>\n<h2>No. 5: Invest with the long term in mind</h2>\n<p>With the first three options, you've taken great steps to protect yourself against many of the short term disruptions that can come from market crashes. With the fourth option, you've given yourself a tool to make smarter investing decisions around the time of a crash. Together, they free you up to truly have a long-term perspective when you invest in stocks.</p>\n<p>That long-term perspective is important because it provides the foundation of the biggest advantage you have against Wall Street: your patience. With a long-term perspective, the rest of your financial house in order, and decent valuations at your disposal, you can stay invested during and after a crash. That is absolutely key to being invested during any subsequent recovery, which is where the next round of wealth can be built.</p>\n<h2>Get ready now for the next crash</h2>\n<p>None of us really know when the next stock market crash will happen, but we can be pretty sure that there will be another one headed our way. It's so high that Tesla is putting 4,000 more people on the payroll at the site, as Reuters reported Friday morning.</p>\n<p>So why was Tesla stock trading down by 2% as of 11:37 a.m. ET Friday?</p>\n<p>So what</p>\n<p>On the one hand, this sure sounds like upbeat news. Tesla initially wanted its Shanghai factory to produce 500,000 cars per year -- and it already has the capacity to manufacture 450,000 Model 3 sedans and Model Y crossovers annually. This decision speaks to CEO Elon Musk's confidence that even 500,000 vehicles a year soon won't be enough to meet the demand for Teslas in China and the European markets that its Chinese facility also supplies.</p>\n<p>And yet Europe may also be part of Tesla's problem. As Reuters also reported Friday, the automaker just withdrew its application for state support for the construction of a planned battery plant near Berlin, Germany. Tesla had previously asked the Federal Ministry of Economics and the Brandenburg Ministry of Economics for some $1.3 billion in subsidies for the plant. But citing his belief that \"all subsidies should be eliminated\" from the electric car industry, Musk says he's now willing to forego that state support -- and hopes that governments will also eliminate \"massive subsidies for oil and gas.\"</p>\n<p>Now what</p>\n<p>Thus we're left with a sort of \"bad news, good news\" situation in Germany. On the one hand, Tesla is giving up $1.3 billion that would have essentially dropped straight to its bottom line as the German government picked up part of the tab for the automaker's capital expenditures.</p>\n<p>On the other hand, though, Tesla is making it clear that doesn't really need these subsidies anymore. Over the past 12 months, it has generated free cash flow of $2.6 billion, and GAAP(generally accepted accounting principles) profits of $3.5 billion. By forgoing this subsidy, Tesla gains a bit of moral authority as it urges governments to not subsidize rivals such as <b>Rivian</b>,<b>Lucid</b>, and other EV companies that have not yet reached profitability (and to halt subsidies tooil companies, too).</p>\n<p>For the moment, investors seem to be focusing on the negative aspects of the news. This decision speaks to CEO Elon Musk's confidence that even 500,000 vehicles a year soon won't be enough to meet the demand for Teslas in China and the European markets that its Chinese facility also supplies.\nAnd yet Europe may also be part of Tesla's problem. As Reuters also reported Friday, the automaker just withdrew its application for state support for the construction of a planned battery plant near Berlin, Germany. Tesla had previously asked the Federal Ministry of Economics and the Brandenburg Ministry of Economics for some $1.3 billion in subsidies for the plant. The stock closed at $1,145 on Nov. 30, and was up 62% for 2021, following a 743% increase during 2020. Tesla trades for 136 times the consensus 2022 earnings estimate of $8.43 a share among analysts polled by FactSet. In comparison, the price-to-earnings ratio of the benchmark S&P 500 Index, of which Tesla is a member, is 20.8.</p>\n<p>Amazon.com Inc. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AMZN\">$(AMZN)$</a> provides an instructive example of a stock that many investors had steered clear of for decades because of its high P/E valuation. You can see plenty of dips or weak periods in the chart, when investors had to be patient, such as the period between the peak late in September 2018 and April 2020, when the stock finally pushed ahead.</p>\n<p>The bottom line is that continued expansion at a rapid pace can help a company \"grow into its valuation,\" to use Black's words.</p>\n<p>Even now, Amazon trades at nearly 69 times the consensus forward earnings estimate. It's still a high P/E and maybe some of the same naysayers from five, 10, 15 or 20 years ago continue to believe it's too late to jump on the bandwagon.</p>\n<p>The Tesla 'controversy'</p>\n<p>Black said he likes stocks with \"controversy.\"</p>\n<p>In the case of Tesla, he said the debate is whether the company can maintain its electric-vehicle market share while global EV adoption grows. He expects Tesla to increase its total addressable market <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/TAM\">$(TAM)$</a> because of new products, including the Cybertruck, expected in late 2022, and a new Tesla compact model expected in 2023, along with increased production in existing factories and the opening of new factories in Texas and Germany.</p>\n<p>All the numbers that follow are for battery electric cars, or BEVs. That means plug-in hybrids are excluded.</p>\n<p>Tesla sold an estimated 386,000 electric cars during the first half of 2021, according to EV-Volumes.com, which estimates sales of BEVs will total 4 million for all of 2021. If Tesla were to maintain the same pace of sales for the second half of 2021, its BEV market share for the year would be an estimated 19.3%.</p>\n<p>Black's case for Tesla's value today</p>\n<p>Based on his own estimates, which incorporate third-quarter numbers provided to the Future Fund team by Bloomberg, EV-Volumes.com and other industry sources, Black expects the world BEV adoption rate to climb to 6% in 2021 from 3% in 2020, and continue rising to 30% by 2025. Meanwhile, he expects Tesla to hold a 21% market share.</p>\n<p>Those estimates point to a 56% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for industry BEV sales, with a 55% CAGR for Tesla's sales. Black also estimates a 59% CAGR for Tesla's earnings per share through 2025.</p>\n<p>Black's estimate for Tesla's market share is higher than EV-Volumes' numbers for the first half of 2021 indicate because of supply constraints.</p>\n<p>\"You will wait six months now if you order a new Tesla. President Biden's \"Build Back Better\" spending package, if passed by Congress, is likely to lift the 200,000-vehicle limit on $7,500 per-vehicle tax credits for EVs. The stock closed at $1,145 on Nov. 30, and was up 62% for 2021, following a 743% increase during 2020. Tesla trades for 136 times the consensus 2022 earnings estimate of $8.43 a share among analysts polled by FactSet. In comparison, the price-to-earnings ratio of the benchmark S&P 500 Index, of which Tesla is a member, is 20.8.\nAmazon.com Inc. $(AMZN)$ provides an instructive example of a stock that many investors had steered clear of for decades because of its high P/E valuation. Here's a chart showing the internet retailer's forward P/E ratio (based on rolling 12-month consensus earnings estimates) over the past 20 years:\nFactSet\nAmazon's average forward P/E during that time is 99.5. The S&P 500 is also included on the chart, with what appears to be a flat line at the bottom. The scale reflects Amazon's valuation spikes when analysts expected the company to show low profits as it plowed its cash flow into business expansion, including industry-leading delivery times for its ecommerce platform and Amazon Web Services.\nNow look at 20-year total returns for Amazon and the index:\nFactSet\nThat's a 30,881% return for Amazon. You can see plenty of dips or weak periods in the chart, when investors had to be patient, such as the period between the peak late in September 2018 and April 2020, when the stock finally pushed ahead.\nThe bottom line is that continued expansion at a rapid pace can help a company \"grow into its valuation,\" to use Black's words.\nEven now, Amazon trades at nearly 69 times the consensus forward earnings estimate. It's still a high P/E and maybe some of the same naysayers from five, 10, 15 or 20 years ago continue to believe it's too late to jump on the bandwagon.\nThe Tesla 'controversy'\nBlack said he likes stocks with \"controversy.\"\nIn the case of Tesla, he said the debate is whether the company can maintain its electric-vehicle market share while global EV adoption grows. He expects Tesla to increase its total addressable market $(TAM)$ because of new products, including the Cybertruck, expected in late 2022, and a new Tesla compact model expected in 2023, along with increased production in existing factories and the opening of new factories in Texas and Germany.\nAll the numbers that follow are for battery electric cars, or BEVs. That means plug-in hybrids are excluded.\nTesla sold an estimated 386,000 electric cars during the first half of 2021, according to EV-Volumes.com, which estimates sales of BEVs will total 4 million for all of 2021. If Tesla were to maintain the same pace of sales for the second half of 2021, its BEV market share for the year would be an estimated 19.3%.\nBlack's case for Tesla's value today\nBased on his own estimates, which incorporate third-quarter numbers provided to the Future Fund team by Bloomberg, EV-Volumes.com and other industry sources, Black expects the world BEV adoption rate to climb to 6% in 2021 from 3% in 2020, and continue rising to 30% by 2025. Meanwhile, he expects Tesla to hold a 21% market share.\nThose estimates point to a 56% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for industry BEV sales, with a 55% CAGR for Tesla's sales. Black also estimates a 59% CAGR for Tesla's earnings per share through 2025.\nBlack's estimate for Tesla's market share is higher than EV-Volumes' numbers for the first half of 2021 indicate because of supply constraints.\n\"You will wait six months now if you order a new Tesla. When the new factories come online, they can gain more share,\" he said.\nThese Twitter postings include data backing Black's estimates:\n\nGoing further, Black estimates Tesla will earn $12 a share in 2022, which is well ahead of the consensus EPS estimate of $8.43. More controversy, but this underlines his investment thesis. He expects EPS to keep growing to $40 in 2025. Based on the closing price of $1,145 on Nov. 30, that would make for a P/E of 28.6 -- not very high for such a rapidly growing company.\nThe expectation of continued rapid growth for Tesla explains not only Black's enthusiasm for the stock but that of other money managers.\nDeeper long-term thesis\nStepping back from the numbers, Black listed what he called four \"ingredients\" for electric vehicles: battery range, performance, technology and safety.\nWhile the competition is catching up on battery range, he said that for performance and technology, Tesla is still ahead of the competition. He added that Tesla has, by far, the highest number of fast-charging stations available, and that drivers of competing EVs can buy low-cost adapters to use Tesla's stations and possibly feel envious of Tesla owners while waiting.\nFor safety, he said Tesla's track record is good, and cited General Motors Co.'s $(GM)$ recall of Chevrolet Bolts for battery fire risk, and GM's instructions to customers on how to limit that risk\nFinally, Black addressed concerns that increasing competition in the EV space would hurt Tesla's market share or make it less profitable.\nBlack cited Amazon as an example, citing skeptical investors years ago who had expected traditional competitors to take back market share from Amazon as they built-out their on online sales capabilities. We all know this didn't happen.\nOne thing we can all be sure of is that the world will continue to change rapidly for all vehicle manufacturers as buying habits change and governments continue to push for a rapid transition to EVs.\nBlack cited the Chinese government's cooperation with Tesla, which opened its factory in Shanghai in 2019, as a long-term boon not only for Tesla, but for China's entire EV market.\n\"You throw a catfish in with all the competitors to keep them aggressive,\" he said, referring to this New York Times article.\nA new catalyst for Tesla and its competitors in the U.S. market might be just around the corner. President Biden's \"Build Back Better\" spending package, if passed by Congress, is likely to lift the 200,000-vehicle limit on $7,500 per-vehicle tax credits for EVs. Tesla and GM have exceeded that limit.\nBlack expects the two new factories to double Tesla's production capacity. Near term, the completion of Tesla CEO Elon Musk's sale of 10% of his Tesla shares may relieve pressure on the share price.
