Among other pandemic winners, home workout equipment maker Peloton Interactive Inc. is the worst performer in the Nasdaq 100 this year with a drop of 66% and Zoom Video Communications Inc. is down 23%.\nMeanwhile, e-commerce behemoth Amazon has risen just 7% in 2021, underperforming the Nasdaq 100’s 27% surge.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":926,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":844771647,"gmtCreate":1636464899699,"gmtModify":1636464977879,"author":{"id":"4099194502735390","authorId":"4099194502735390","name":"shineyee","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4099194502735390","idStr":"4099194502735390"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like","listText":"Like","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/844771647","repostId":"1176992919","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":902,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":844771982,"gmtCreate":1636464879669,"gmtModify":1636464919769,"author":{"id":"4099194502735390","authorId":"4099194502735390","name":"shineyee","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"4099194502735390","idStr":"4099194502735390"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like","listText":"Like","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/844771982","repostId":"1195351588","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1195351588","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1636461941,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1195351588?lang=&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-11-09 20:45","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Naomi Osaka-backed Sweetgreen targets up to $2.7 bln valuation in IPO","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1195351588","media":"Reuters","summary":"Nov 9 (Reuters) - Tennis star Naomi Osaka-backed salad chain Sweetgreen Inc said on Tuesday it was s","content":"
Nov 9 (Reuters) - Tennis star Naomi Osaka-backed salad chain Sweetgreen Inc said on Tuesday it was seeking a valuation of up to $2.7 billion in its initial public offering in the United States.
\n
The Los Angeles, California-based company plans to sell 12.5 million shares priced between $23 and $25 each, aiming to raise up to $312.5 million at the top end of the range.
\n
Plant-based food companies have attracted investor attention over the past few years, particularly as more people gravitate to healthy and environment-friendly food.
\n
Much of the demand is being led by millennials and generation Z consumers, who are more than willing to spend on sustainable products that are also healthy.
\n
The company was valued at $1.8 billion after a funding round earlier this year, according to media reports. However, I think there's an even greater fear many investors have that doesn't have an acronym: the fear of losing money. This fear has without question caused some to miss out on significant gains.
\n
Perhaps the best way to overcome the fear of losing money is to find specific stocks that have great long-term growth prospects. These stocks should give you confidence that you won't lose money and should instead make a lot of money if you hold long enough. Here are three explosive stocks to buy right now without any hesitation.
\n
\n
1. Nvidia
\n
Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock surged 23% in October and has more than doubled year to date. This chipmaker should have plenty of more room to run.
\n
You'd be hard-pressed to find a stock that's poised to win in as many strong growth areas as Nvidia. Gaming ranks near the top of the list. The company's graphics processing units (GPUs) are the gold standard for gamers.
\n
Augmented reality and virtual reality, specifically including the metaverse, extend beyond just gaming. Nvidia is set to be one of the biggest winners in this arena as well.
\n
Then there's artificial intelligence (AI). Nvidia's chips already power many of the servers that host AI apps. The company is also a leader in self-driving car technology.
\n
In addition to all of these, Nvidia has great opportunities in cryptocurrency mining and high-performance computing. It's quite possible that the company joins the $2 trillion club in the next decade if not sooner. Nvidia is a must-own stock for the technologies of the future.
\n
2. Intuitive Surgical
\n
Speaking of technologies of the future, don't overlook robots. However, I think there's an even greater fear many investors have that doesn't have an acronym: the fear of losing money. This fear has without question caused some to miss out on significant gains.\nPerhaps the best way to overcome the fear of losing money is to find specific stocks that have great long-term growth prospects. These stocks should give you confidence that you won't lose money and should instead make a lot of money if you hold long enough. Here are three explosive stocks to buy right now without any hesitation.\nImage source: Getty Images.\n1. Nvidia\nNvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock surged 23% in October and has more than doubled year to date. This chipmaker should have plenty of more room to run.\nYou'd be hard-pressed to find a stock that's poised to win in as many strong growth areas as Nvidia. Gaming ranks near the top of the list. The company's graphics processing units (GPUs) are the gold standard for gamers.\nAugmented reality and virtual reality, specifically including the metaverse, extend beyond just gaming. Nvidia is set to be one of the biggest winners in this arena as well.\nThen there's artificial intelligence (AI). Nvidia's chips already power many of the servers that host AI apps. The company is also a leader in self-driving car technology.\nIn addition to all of these, Nvidia has great opportunities in cryptocurrency mining and high-performance computing. It's quite possible that the company joins the $2 trillion club in the next decade if not sooner. Nvidia is a must-own stock for the technologies of the future.\n2. Intuitive Surgical\nSpeaking of technologies of the future, don't overlook robots. Thanks to Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ:ISRG), though, robotic surgical systems are already widely in use. Since first developing its da Vinci system in the late 1990s, Intuitive has installed more than 6,500 units worldwide.\nCOVID-19 presented a big challenge for Intuitive with hospitals pushing back non-emergency surgeries. Even with this headwind, though, the healthcare stock soared 38% in 2020 and is up more than 30% so far this year.\nIntuitive has kept winning customers despite facing increased competition. There are more than 15 times more soft tissue procedures performed annually that don't use robotic assistance than were done with da Vinci last year.\n3. MercadoLibre\nYou might not view MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI) as an explosive stock based on its dismal returns this year. However, over the last three years, its shares have more than quadrupled.\nMercadoLibre reigns as the e-commerce leader in Latin America. The company operates in 18 countries, notably including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. It's No. 1 in every major country where it does business based on unique visitors and page views on its platform.\nEven with its impressive growth in recent years, MercadoLibre is only scratching the surface of its opportunity. Morgan Stanley projects that the e-commerce penetration rate in Latin America will double over the next four years. MercadoLibre is in the best position to benefit.\nHowever, the most exciting part of MercadoLibre's business actually isn't e-commerce; it's the company's fintech operations. Mercado Pago processes online payments both on and outside of MercadoLibre's e-commerce platform. It's already the fastest-growing part of MercadoLibre. billion chip plant in Japan.
\n
Construction of the factory, which local media last month said will supply semiconductors to Sony's image sensor business, will begin in 2022, with production slated to begin at the end of 2024, the companies said in a press release.
\n
The decision marks a success for Japanese industry ministry officials, who want TSMC to build plants to supply chips to Japan's electronic device makers and auto companies as trade frictions between the United States and China threaten to disrupt supply chains and demand for the key component grows.
\n
\"The fab is expected to directly create about 1,500 high-tech professional jobs and to have a monthly production capacity of 45,000 12-inch wafers,' Sony and TSMC said.
\n
The project has \"strong (Reuters) -Sony Group on Tuesday said it will invest about $500 million in a joint venture with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co's (TSMC) that will build a $7 billion chip plant in Japan.\nConstruction of the factory, which local media last month said will supply semiconductors to Sony's image sensor business, will begin in 2022, with production slated to begin at the end of 2024, the companies said in a press release.\nThe decision marks a success for Japanese industry ministry officials, who want TSMC to build plants to supply chips to Japan's electronic device makers and auto companies as trade frictions between the United States and China threaten to disrupt supply chains and demand for the key component grows.\n\"The fab is expected to directly create about 1,500 high-tech professional jobs and to have a monthly production capacity of 45,000 12-inch wafers,' Sony and TSMC said.\nThe project has \"strong support from the Japanese government,\" they added, although they did not say whether that included financial backing.\nAmid growing tension with mainland China, TSMC has become concerned about the concentration of chipmaking in Taiwan, which produces most of the world's advanced semiconductors.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":778,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0},{"id":844778951,"gmtCreate":1636464922462,"gmtModify":1636465092493,"author":{"id":"4099194502735390","authorId":"4099194502735390","name":"shineyee","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4099194502735390","authorIdStr":"4099194502735390"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/844778951","repostId":"2182023117","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":478,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"CN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
